- 3DMakerpro sent me their Whale 3D scanner to review. I pulled out a dried out clay sculpture, 3D scanned it, and finished it in the computer to 3D print a finished copy.

Great, you are very talented. I can appreciate an artist who sculpts well both traditionally and digitally. I'm enjoying this series of reviewing scanners for artistic projects and model making. I feel the scanning technology is finally making its way down to an affordable price range (with acceptable quality, but will get better with time), much in the same way high quality 3D printers have.
Thank you very much! Yes, it's an exciting time for making stuff!
looks rad!! I love the plinth!
Thanks Gordon!
This is Creality scanner!
looks awesome! what other scanners have you tried and would recommend for most accurate overall shapes/dimensions?
Good morning, I’m new to all of this. I actually just purchased a 3D printer and am looking into building my own wide body and parts for my car down the line. Can you recommend a scanner that would work for scanning the vehicle or would it be more proactive to use a camera?? Thanks
I haven't gotten into scanning anything the size of a car, but I know there are people who are into that, so I'm sure you'll find some recommendations out there.
Are you selling those busts?
You can email me to discuss. Check the About page on my site: chickenprops.com
You should scan your printed object….
That would be a good experiment
