Does it scan people, faces, whole body well with color texture output to see the persons face features, colors etc?
you can get the same scan from cr scan lizard.. but at 700 Dollar. really affordable price
I have the scan lizard too. But really comes down to detail capture. I have a new one I am testing. The scan lizard doesn't do well with dark objects. I have the Mole. Which will. Come out in the next few days. It will work on a pc and mobile phone too

id be interested how well it scans smaller objects .. about 1 inch high / and how complete the mesh is

It'd be great if you could do a direct comparison between this and the lizard. Seems like the software is identical (maybe creality selling under another name to avoid that lawsuit with Artec?)
But most likely another third party is making these scanners/software and then they're being resold under these brands.
Creality has NOTHING to do with Whale. Only Scan 01 and Lizard are Creality 3D scanners.
+1 for a side by side comparison with same objects esp dark ones and tiny ones
They are original 3D scanner designer & manufacturer of lizard...you know but stick creality as brand owner :)
@@xukelvin7571 this is well known. They develop the products for Creality. That’s why the software is the same. However a comparison between both is interesting

I'm starting to see a LOT online claiming this scanner / company is a scam. What do you think? Will they collect a buch of money then dissappear?

I have lizzard scaner and it is useless. I would not trust creality.
Maybe you need more experience with it. I have a scan lizard too, I've managed some VERY accurate scans of car parts for personal projects (big and small) as well as some random objects to test it out. It really really helps to get some matteing spray/developer spray/dry shampoo (this is what I use because it's cheap).
Hope you get some better results with it
This is rebranded lizard scanner, the hardware and software is pathetic not mentioned I am trying to get in touch with Creality for months and they keep saying they are on holidays. Don't bother with Whale scanner.
While the software seems the same, this works very differently from the lizard. I have 3 scanners. Revopoint, and two creality scanners. My experience with the lizard has been positive but mine was a pre release. This one imo works soo much better and faster. I am now testing the revopoint mini.
@@ebpman thanks. I would never deal with this company again. There is no customer service, the thing is scanner without a proper software and customer support is just a piece of junk.
@@divingdeep2635 agree 100% I have a dozen dead ones for that same reason. Here is my take on them so far. First 3d scanner that out of the box works, software works, instructions are clear and it scans dark objects no markers. So it does what they say. Now will they stand behind it... That will be the question. I get first releases so I expect there to be problems. But this one was plug and scan. I am on their Facebook page too and will see what and how they respond. Let's holp the stand behind the product and support the community. The product works. Unlike others I have tested. Frankly they have never made it to publishing because they didn't.
