Dino's Games988 Verlanders post season numbers aren’t bad tho. His ERA is 3.40 over a span of 19 series. Compared to someone like Kershaw who’s ERA almost doubles from his regular season ERA.

Judge, Sanchez, Severino, Betances, Gardner, Andujar are all from the Yankees system. Torres was traded for as a prospect so you can include him in there too. Verlander, Greinke, Cole and Brantley are 4 of the biggest reasons the Astros are where they are. The pitching alone is their most valueble asset, pitching that they didnt develop. I'm an astros fan but our bullpen is suspect at times they don't make it easy and wish astros scored more runs but Ray's have good pitchers. I just don't trust osuna he can be good and then we get the osuna that walks batters and almost blew Coles amazing performance if it wasn't for Harris but just relieved astros won even though I was a nervous wreck with how osuna couldn't get 3 outstanding in the 9th.

Kenshiro Morton was injury prone so they didn’t want to overpay on a chance that he may or may not stay healthy. Keuchel just priced himself out. The Astros were willing to pay him but Keuchel wanted ace money when he would be third in the rotation.

Nah, Choi did homer off of Cole this season; it wasn't unreasonable for Girardi to suspect that possibility. I was scared of that at-bat. Luckily, Cole sequenced him perfectly.

Joe Girardi clearly has a dislike for the Astros and should stop calling their games. AJ too. Both of them are just awful.
IMO it is smarter for the Astros to keep Cole and part ways with Verlander, but I don't think that's gonna happen. Pretty sure people love Verlander too much and Cole will ask for too much.
