    It's perfect for this time of the year. I find your patterns to be the easiest to understand, and it's great there's video in case you are unsure.
    I'm learning so much as a new crocheter, thank you 😊

    Hi, I've made several of your patterns and you're one my my favorite designers! I am having trouble w row 3 of this pattern, i finished the repeat, but always get 2 stitches remaining instead of 1? I don't understand how it stays an even count

    Such a beautiful pattern. Think I'm going to encourage my daughter to make it for her first crochet garment (happily she has a gorgeous weight 4 yarn that I've been itching to get my own paws on since she got it back in July!) Everything I make for her is 'for the yard' (horses) but think this is one pattern that is a bit too good to get entangled with hay! It deserves to be shown off 'about town'.
    Think it's high time I subscribed to your newsletter!
    Thank you for all that you share. xxx

    I have a question I'm currently making this and I'm noticing as I'm making the back panel one side is staying straight and the other side is curving out.....am I doing something wrong?

      Perhaps you have been counting the turning chains as stitches? Is your stitch count remaining the same? (Always worth checking it every few rows) 😊

    There appears to be an error in the pattern on row 3 (which explains some of the problems reported in the comments here). There is an even number of stitches, so you won’t have “1 stitch remaining” at the end of the row. Just finish with your final sc through the full stitch. 👍🏻

    • @EvelynAndPeterCrochet
      @EvelynAndPeterCrochet  6 часов назад

      hi! The reason it says until 1 st remains is because it needs to be a regular st worked into it, not a BLO only stitch like the prior ones. So 1 Dc in first, then you alternate dc and sc across in the BLO, then 1 normal St in the last.

    Just finished it ❤ I did it with 3 different colors, changing colors each 4 rows and it looks great. Although I did it smaller than my own size so it doesn't look oversize like yours it fits I think I'll do my own size next time since the arms were a bit short for this one but definitely a great pattern and you're a great tutor thank you ❤❤

    To make the sleeves regular and not balloon style, would you just do one single crochet in the ribbing instead of the 2?

  • @lillyvillacorta2252
    @lillyvillacorta2252 9 месяцев назад

    I made a size medium but the sleeves looked way too small, so I added rows for size XL sleeves and they’re still way too small 🙂🙂🙂🙂

    I want to start this tonight! I dont have a 5.5 mm...only a 5.25 and 6mm which one would you recommend? Im between xs and s.. but i want to keep it loose like how its fitted on you. Which hook and size would you recommend i do? Thank you ❤

    • @krystinadeeds8387
      @krystinadeeds8387 10 месяцев назад

      I’m currently using a 5.5 and thought about downsizing to a 5.25! I think a 6mm might be too big, but I am no expert, by any means! I think if you start with a 5.25 you’ll be able to decide if you like it before you get too far and if not, then size up! Hope this helps!

    • @EvelynAndPeterCrochet
      @EvelynAndPeterCrochet  10 месяцев назад

      Depends on how tight or loose your tension is! I would recommend making a quick gauge swatch with your first hook option, 5.25 and go from there. If your swatch is too small, go with the larger hook! If you have already started crocheting do a quick measure within the main body of the panel to check. The ribbing will be smaller than the listed width, because the main body widens out a bit with the stitches as yougo!

    • @VanessaDoss-ff6bk
      @VanessaDoss-ff6bk 7 месяцев назад

      As you may know not all #4 medium weight yarn is the same size. If the yarn you’re using is a small #4 then I would use the 5.25mm. But if it’s a #4 that’s on the larger size I would use the 6mm. The bigger the hook the softer your sweater will turn out.

      Hi! I am fairly new to crocheting and am having a bit of trouble with the gauge for this one. Am I supposed to do 1sc and then 1dc in the next stitch or skip one so that the count doesn’t go up?

    I'm very confused the written pattern says to go to row 59 and then tie off and then you start your neckline shaping on row 52 for a large? How am I going to row 59 but starting the neck at 52?

    • @FionaC1
      @FionaC1 7 часов назад

      If you look at the section of video about neckline shaping, you’ll see you have to pick up stitches for the second side

    I am starting mine now
    Normally a size LG or xl but I'm already at 115 rows of the ribbing and it's tight still. Is that normal

    • @danielleelaines
      @danielleelaines 2 месяца назад

      It’s two panels. One for the front and one for the back, are you taking into account that your ribbing will be doubled by the time you have both panels? Could be why
