I really really really want them to establish the “no kill rule” and actually stick with it, I feel it’s really important to his character. It’s just really inspiring to see your hero, against all odds, save the villains from death. He sticks to what he believes is the right thing to do, because once it’s done it’s done.
This. So many other movies have had him consciously let the villain die, like Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins, and then of course you have BvS where he kills people with guns. Nobody has ever just been able to do the Batman movies 100% properly. But these do have a shot, seeing as they're establishing Selina in the first movie, which allows a proper build for her dynamic with Bruce, and they're also establishing people who have overarching power in Gotham like Penguin and Falcone, plus I'm pretty sure they're also including Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon if I'm not mistaken, which allows the building of a proper Bat-Family. I just hope they do it right, and if they do, it keeps going, instead of stopping so someone else can take the reins and write another shitty version that misses the point like Batfleck.

Batman isnt Bruce Wayne or Batman. He is both. When he is at his best self, hes in the batcave with his family. Cowl off, gloves off, and talking with Alfred, Robin, etc.
But he leans more towards batman There's a comic panel where he, wonderman and superman are holding the lasso and they reveal their identities But instead of him saying bruce he just says batman

My sister has low standards for bad movies but that one really irked her. It was quite entertaining to watch the slow frown develop on her face as the first hour passed.
Just imagine if he uses a Batman villain that hasn't been used since the golden age. Like he uses The Wrath or the Gold coin killer as the main bad guy. That would be a nice change of pace in my opinion.

This was very much like what I have been writing for my fan script. Batman should be like Daredevil in the Netflix series. The first movie should start off with him liking beating the shit out of criminals and realizing that he is not as pure as he thought he was. But then Hush is starting to kill off criminals. Have a Daredevil Rooftop scene where Hush is like "Why haven't you killed any of them" Hush's origin should also get reworked so it mirrors Bruces

I’d be 100% okay with this new film to just be a new adaptation of Mask of The Phantasm. Then again though, I’d still love to see what Matt Reeves has got in store of his own creation.
Riddler should be the killer in the movie. I feel like they’ll make it happen instead of pulling a Long Halloween and have someone like Harvey Dent (who is rumoured to be in the film) as the killer.

The villain your looking for in this pre-movie you want is Wrath (Elliot Caldwell). Character Backstory in a Nuthshell: When Elliot Caldwell was young his father was gunned down by a corrupt G.C.P.D. officer. He swore vengeance for his father's death and became Wrath. Wrath then managed to build up a multi-billion dollar weapons company called Caldwell Technologies. Then when he returned to Gotham (after years of training) he began killing G.C.P.D. officers with the help of a criminal named Clyde Anderson A.K.A Scorn. For Batman to soon discovered his plot to kill the entire G.C.P.D. NOTE: Wrath was the main villain in Detective Comics (2011) run for 24 issues (by John Layman & Jason Fabok)

Before this movie was gonna be a batman vs deathstroke Arkham Asylum movie with Ben Affleck directing and staring with Geoff Johns. It’s now a Long Halloween movie with Robert Paterson staring and Matt Reeves directing. This is way more up my ally as it is. Long Halloween has the best twist in all of comics.

I started reading Batman back in the 70's . To me , the perfect Batman symbol is the one with the Bat in the yellow Circle . I think it what you saw when you first read the comic.

Another amazing video, love your pre-writes. Also I 100% agree I prefer the more "clothed" version of the Batsuit like in the DCAU or Arkham games in comparison to the Nolan rubber suit that always put me off and also the armored suits.
It makes me really happy that you know how Batman is supposed to be. He's not just some violent, brutal, mean, crime fighter like Batfleck in Batman V Superman. He's a lot more complicated.
Court of Owls would be a cool villain group with some tweaks. Talon could be redesigned to look more like Owlman so its believable that people would mistake the killer for Batman or just replace Talon with Owlmam. The Court is going after criminals and framing Batman because the rise of Batman and his villains is causing the Court to lose power and influence over Gotham Since thhe Court is generally a group of people they could have significant members for example the Elliot family (Hush),the Cobblepots (Penguin), The Dents (Dents) and could be used to set up these guys as villains in future movies. Im sure the Court of Owls could he a great villain that fits really well with a mystery movie.
Yeah, I love the Animated Series, but The Batman 2004 show was good to. Me and my brothers I remember a few years ago that we actually binged the whole series.
Give me the fucking white eyes, if Deadpool could make it word, so could Batman. Imagine the Bat-Glare in live action. Like it’s some final swing-esc scene after the story is done, and it’s a remake of the BTAS intro, and it ends on the either the bat glare or silhouette.
Red hood could be behind it and that’s why he turns dark again because of his former sidekick goes against him and wants him dead, this leaves the scene where he looks at the suit perhaps not thinking about him dead but his pathway to evil.
They're not going anywhere! I'll still do full pitches for ideas that I have or for games that I'm excited for, it's just now it won't be for movies that are currently in development. Think of it as just me adding more options to my list of potential Prewrites. And hell yeah the rewrites are staying. Even trough im writing this a long time after the movie released,I want to say that by your desire for the movie themes and why the villain does what it does I got the perfect villain for you. Huntress.Yes,Huntress!Helena Bertelini(did i write the name right?) could mirror both Bruce and Batman(at least enough to make the police think its Batman). She as far as I've seen and read is pretty brutal(like you want Batman to be in the beginning),but dosen't shy away from killing her enemies. Her desing from the comics would mimic Batman's a lot,at least from afar.Dark outfits,Ears(or mask that looks like ears) and capes. Her motive:The Death of her father(who in this universe didn't kill her boyfriend) and of her boyfriend(Mario Falcon).For this...ummm?....lets say rewrite of the movie we have Falcon be more ruthless than he was in the actual movie and doesn't shy away from using and killing his son for an advantage in this ,,dog eat dog world" as he would say(maybe).
Great vid dude. This movie is my most anticipated comic book film of the next two years. Don’t know exactly when this was recorded but you left out a few minor details. The suit is said to be blue and grey instead of black. When giving comparisons the “insiders” used the hush suit and the suit from “The Batman” cartoon so it seems like you might’ve gotten your wish somewhat at least with the grey. probably the look too. It’s also going around that it’s a modernization of the adam west suit. The rumors started because of Reeves’ twitter feed being images paying homage to 66’ batman. probably should take this all with a grain of salt but i still think it’s interesting or at the very least worth mentioning maybe. since they start filming soon we’ll probably get the first look at the costumes soon too. can’t wait. as far as the villains, on top of the ones in the video, John Turturro was cast as Carmine Falcone. and as far as the rumored cast goes we’re still waiting on official word on three more villains. Two Face (rumored to by played by Matthew mcconaughey), and two with no actors attached. Mad Hatter and Firefly. Side Note: I really appreciate how you debunked the “too many villains” argument. it’s one i’m personally tired of seeing. subbed!
CLOCK KING! You said you wanted a villain that is doing what he is because of his trauma and that works perfectly with William Tockman. And sure, he’s a Green Arrow villain but Lex is a Superman villain and he still hates Bruce despite being a worse version of him.
I think I know who should be the killer and I know how obscure he is, but he fits the criteria set out perfectly... Prometheus! He is the mirror to Bruce Wayne, being that he was from a family of criminal that were killed by aggressive cops and used the wealth from his family to become a villain. It could link in the penguin due to his crime family and use of weaponry and could be helped by the riddler due to his complex tech and suit. I think he would be a perfect fit to help Batman learn his place and to have an obscure villain so the mystery isn’t to obvious and how his identity isn’t truly clear even in the comics.
For someone behind it I'd recommend a remade version of onomatopoeia a villain who ran around killing superheroes and their family members I think it would be interesting,anarky wanted to destroy gothams corrupt authority by taking out the mob bosses who run it, dead shot, make him have a more tragic past and boom and finally a choice I hope happens someday prometheus I probably misplet that but look him up I think he'd work.

I would say azreal but if Batman is new to this stuff than Azreal should come later in Bruce’s career. I can’t solidify my thoughts on any other villains, but they’ll probably do a good job. And they should not ignore your stuff, other than maybe the yellow in the suit. But rn we already have a glimpse of the BS (batsuit). Loved this vid bro keep it up!

Character Backstory in a Nuthshell: When Elliot Caldwell was young his father was gunned down by a corrupt G.C.P.D. officer. He swore vengeance for his father's death and became Wrath. Wrath then managed to build up a multi-billion dollar weapons company called Caldwell Technologies. Then when he returned to Gotham (after years of training) he began killing G.C.P.D. officers with the help of a criminal named Clyde Anderson A.K.A Scorn. For Batman to soon discovered his plot to kill the entire G.C.P.D.
NOTE: Wrath was the main villain in Detective Comics (2011) run for 24 issues (by John Layman & Jason Fabok)

To me , the perfect Batman symbol is the one with the Bat in the yellow Circle .

It makes me really happy that you know how Batman is supposed to be. He's not just some violent, brutal, mean, crime fighter like Batfleck in Batman V Superman. He's a lot more complicated.
Court of Owls would be a cool villain group with some tweaks.
Talon could be redesigned to look more like Owlman so its believable that people would mistake the killer for Batman or just replace Talon with Owlmam.
The Court is going after criminals and framing Batman because the rise of Batman and his villains is causing the Court to lose power and influence over Gotham
Since thhe Court is generally a group of people they could have significant members for example the Elliot family (Hush),the Cobblepots (Penguin), The Dents (Dents) and could be used to set up these guys as villains in future movies.
Im sure the Court of Owls could he a great villain that fits really well with a mystery movie.

Give me the fucking white eyes, if Deadpool could make it word, so could Batman. Imagine the Bat-Glare in live action. Like it’s some final swing-esc scene after the story is done, and it’s a remake of the BTAS intro, and it ends on the either the bat glare or silhouette.
Red hood could be behind it and that’s why he turns dark again because of his former sidekick goes against him and wants him dead, this leaves the scene where he looks at the suit perhaps not thinking about him dead but his pathway to evil.
The killer should be Helena Bertinelli....the huntress

They're not going anywhere! I'll still do full pitches for ideas that I have or for games that I'm excited for, it's just now it won't be for movies that are currently in development. Think of it as just me adding more options to my list of potential Prewrites.
And hell yeah the rewrites are staying. They'll be a bit slower to come out so I can maintain their quality but I have some currently planned already

Huntress.Yes,Huntress!Helena Bertelini(did i write the name right?) could mirror both Bruce and Batman(at least enough to make the police think its Batman).
She as far as I've seen and read is pretty brutal(like you want Batman to be in the beginning),but dosen't shy away from killing her enemies.
Her desing from the comics would mimic Batman's a lot,at least from afar.Dark outfits,Ears(or mask that looks like ears) and capes.
Her motive:The Death of her father(who in this universe didn't kill her boyfriend) and of her boyfriend(Mario Falcon).For this...ummm?....lets say rewrite of the movie we have Falcon be more ruthless than he was in the actual movie and doesn't shy away from using and killing his son for an advantage in this ,,dog eat dog world" as he would say(maybe).

Don’t know exactly when this was recorded but you left out a few minor details. The suit is said to be blue and grey instead of black. When giving comparisons the “insiders” used the hush suit and the suit from “The Batman” cartoon so it seems like you might’ve gotten your wish somewhat at least with the grey. probably the look too. It’s also going around that it’s a modernization of the adam west suit. The rumors started because of Reeves’ twitter feed being images paying homage to 66’ batman. probably should take this all with a grain of salt but i still think it’s interesting or at the very least worth mentioning maybe. since they start filming soon we’ll probably get the first look at the costumes soon too. can’t wait.
as far as the villains, on top of the ones in the video, John Turturro was cast as Carmine Falcone. and as far as the rumored cast goes we’re still waiting on official word on three more villains. Two Face (rumored to by played by Matthew mcconaughey), and two with no actors attached. Mad Hatter and Firefly.
Side Note: I really appreciate how you debunked the “too many villains” argument. it’s one i’m personally tired of seeing. subbed!
CLOCK KING! You said you wanted a villain that is doing what he is because of his trauma and that works perfectly with William Tockman. And sure, he’s a Green Arrow villain but Lex is a Superman villain and he still hates Bruce despite being a worse version of him.

He is the mirror to Bruce Wayne, being that he was from a family of criminal that were killed by aggressive cops and used the wealth from his family to become a villain.
It could link in the penguin due to his crime family and use of weaponry and could be helped by the riddler due to his complex tech and suit.
I think he would be a perfect fit to help Batman learn his place and to have an obscure villain so the mystery isn’t to obvious and how his identity isn’t truly clear even in the comics.
Honestly if you take a look at Frank Reynolds, he’s not too far off from the Penguin

For someone behind it I'd recommend a remade version of onomatopoeia a villain who ran around killing superheroes and their family members I think it would be interesting,anarky wanted to destroy gothams corrupt authority by taking out the mob bosses who run it, dead shot, make him have a more tragic past and boom and finally a choice I hope happens someday prometheus I probably misplet that but look him up I think he'd work.

I was waiting for the “No kill” in here, thank god you said it. I like this approach and I believe there are a good number of people to choose from. I would say azreal but if Batman is new to this stuff than Azreal should come later in Bruce’s career. I can’t solidify my thoughts on any other villains, but they’ll probably do a good job. And they should not ignore your stuff, other than maybe the yellow in the suit. But rn we already have a glimpse of the BS (batsuit). Loved this vid bro keep it up!
