Who ever that guy playing Casey Jones is, he really embodies the character well. And it's cool you got the guy played Michelangelo's voice from the original movie.

Doesn't this remind you of Taxi Driver?? The montage of Casey working out, while April's does her reporting in voice-over? And especially how Casey practices his tough talk on his own reflection! That's brilliant!

You should read the IDW comics, it get's pretty brutal sometimes, way more than the old films or the cartoon series.
They were all killers in the original Eastman Laird comics, I own the originals. GREAT work if you've never read them.

It originated in the comics with Raphael being the first turtle to meet Casey. The two started off antagonistic and then became friends and their bond was the fact that both are hot tempered. It's still a good short regardless, that was just a very minor nitpick for me. The fact that Casey's mom called him Arnold is proof enough that a fan made this as that is his first name. And they got the voice of Mikey from the movies, also awesome.
actually they both got a anger temper except ralph's got a anger temper a tad bit more than casey's anger temper.
@@xavior1222Usually Casey is the more crazy of the two and serves to be someone that makes Raph reevaluate himself when they first meet since Raph ends up being the one to have to keep Casey in check. It gets toned down in more modern adaptations to make Casey an easier sell since he’s probably their second most popular side character behind April O’Neil.

This... was AWESOME! Great job by everyone. I enjoyed the actor who played Casey, I especially liked how he channeled the Cartoon version of Casey Jones at times "Lawbreaker." The characterizations were good, pacing moved fine, score was excellent. At first I was confused as to why he was fighting Michelangelo instead of Raphael, but having Robbie Rist reprise his role was totally awesome dude!
I feel like the OG Raph's voice would have been just as recognizable, though.
This was incredible, what a great short film! The guy who plays Casey is just so perfect as him with his voice, look and all his mannerisms. I also loved that it was a dark film that didn't hold anything back.

Mike, the sad thing is this fan film is already better then half the TMNT films released in cinemas.
Just want to say, i've been watching this since i was a kid and to me this is the definitive version of this character. Brilliant script, brilliantly acted, the score is fantastic and the tone of the film is perfect. Takes cues from Burton's Batman, Taxi Driver, the original TMNT Comic run and the Original TMNT movie. Absolutely amazing job.
Same for me. Seen this years ago in middle school and it was great. Now I'm out of highschool and I decided to come back and watch it. This is what made me love Casey Jones as a character.

Granted Miller Actually Casey's actor was the only thing I didn't like about the trailer for the new movie. I mean, aliens, Shredder (like the real deal), Bebop & Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, they got the rest of the TMNT bases covered pretty well.

I love this movie and I must admit Casey Jones is my favorite psychotic crime fighter. He gives the Justice that criminals deserve he needs more movies of his own since he is really an underrated crime fighter but I love that he never gives up his mission

Just saw "TMNT: Out of the Shadows" and I concur that both of you are correct.
Green Arrow does what he can, but they turned Casey Jones from the sports-themed street vigilante to "generic hero cop looking to prove his worth"

Interesting route going here. Changed some backgrounds of Casey and That really sounds like Mikey from TMNT 3, however, it would have been best to have the turtle remain in the shadows never to reveal the bad costuming.
I agree the costumes were good enough to have in the dark but in the light the reveal of the eyes wasn't as affective. But i gotta say this is a very very well done film. It has almost parallel acting as the original films.
Right, you totally get it my point of view. It is truly well done and has that Casey attitude, but yet still has it's own plot and background from the comics. It was more….bloody and gruesome.

Really love all the nods to the old movie, even the small stuff like Casey saying "whoa whiffer!" when someone misses an attack on him. Solid portrayal of the characters all around too, great voice acting. Even his mom calling him Arnold, not a lot of people know that's his name. Shows your appreciation for the comics as well as the movies and cartoons. My only complaint is he never yells "Goongala! Goongala!"

I’d love to see a full Casey Jones series in the vein of Netflix’s Daredevil. This proved that it could work. Also like how this has elements from a bit of different Turtles incarnations such as Mirage, Fred Wolf, 4Kids and the 1st movie.
Much like Daredevil, the Turtles would probably only be mentioned by name at first. Like Imagine Casey when not on the vigilante path. He's either working, playing Hockey or other places where he chats with people. So needless to say one of them, would mention the Turtles or even April.
*Random Guy:* It says here there is a secret war between a group of Ninja Thieves and what can be described as 4 Turtles armed with Martial Arts weapons.
*Casey:* That's the stupidest thing I ever heard. Who wrote that shit?

Loved the scene where Mikey is actually swimming in the sewer like a turtle bring Casey Jones. An aspect of the Turtles living in the sewer that brought more of a turtle reality to the character. Awesome!
Usually Raphael is the one that tells Casey to go easy on the bad guys, not Michelangelo.

I remember being blown away when I watched this gor the first time years ago, I watched it again recently and I have to say I was still just as pumped up by the end of the movie as I was the first timd I watched it.
I notoced there are a few other Casey Jones fan films that were made recently and after watching them I can say hands down this is still the best.

I loved this film, big fan of Casey Jones since the 2003 ninja turtles. But god damn it Casey, 3 hungry Homeless men rob a pizza and the punishment is frying one's face and then bashing in the skulls of the other two!

VGM Pathfinder Yeah I read about that in his bio, I would like to read the comics. From what I read he had a vey sad life, and the comics take place loosely in a similar universe to the 2003 turtles. I now feel like reading the comic.
