In the beginning I did learn a lot . Then they started Revelation, I tried to understand but I just went along with it but I was getting frustrated. My son is involved and he got me into the class. I got out on January.. I did 7 month. I left a real Bible college. I was drawn to it by studying Prophecies. Yet I was in real Bible college and I left it because it was called maddening wine. Yet I stayed because it was interesting to know about Prophecies. But I started seeing the same drawings on every lesson it bought red flags. I was there for the first lessons till the test. When I failed it yet they said it’s ok.. you can move on. Then they told me not to look social media.. bla bla bbla … I said ok after that I did my research and blocked everyone.. I called my pastor and had him pray.. I was mad because this group used the Bible in ways but they couldn’t confuse me.. a lot went on especially at my age… I praise God..

Omg I just learned that today! They said we had to hide the “treasure” like the man who found the hidden treasure, hid it, and sold all he had. Then they used another scripture in Isaiah where he said daughter against mother, son against father and said beware of your family and even your husband. Thats when my stomach started turning because I felt like they are leading up to isolation. AND THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. I ask them what their name is and they keep saying “we are missionaries who came together to teach the word”. All of the teachings and drawings are the same so they learned it from one source. Secondly, they lowkey are getting more strict. You can’t eat on camera, you have to sit up, dress nice. They even put people in a time out room for not having their camera on. The most telling part is if you have a question they start scheduling meetings with the Bible study teachers letting you know they talk behind the scenes to fly monkey you when you seem insubordinate. They hate QUESTIONS about who they are saying “food at the proper time”!

Months ago a young lady approached me in Target saying she wanted to invite me to a bible study and asked if i was interested, did i have any questions about God. I told her, "Thank you, but I'm involved in a church where I serve and am part of a small group". She pushed again, "So you don't have any questions about God or the Bible? Our group is part of Bible College". At this point my Spidey Sense was full on tingling... I asked, "What Bible college?" She said, "It's just called Bible College." I felt very uneasy already and the lack of a name to provide context was another red flag. I responded, "Besides growing up in church with lots of opportunities to learn, my husband also graduated from Talbot School of Theology, so I'm lucky. I have easy acess to his bible scholar side." She asked, if she could have my phone number, again, weird... Why did she feel the need to continue to push this class on me if I was identifying myself as a Bible believing Christian? I gave her an email address that I use for stores , looking back I shouldn't even have done that with how uncomfortable she made me. In the moment i was trying to be nice and give her the benefit of the doubt in case she was just a new overly excited Christian. Just this evening i was searching my email for something and came across the flyer this lady had sent me. Out of curiosity I opened it to read the info and did a search which lead me to you ladies and some other info. I fully agree with you all about this group. This poor lady I met is clearly part of this cult. Praise God for His protection over you! To summarize my warning signs were 1. Purposely vague titles "Bible Study" "Bible College", keeps you from being able to identify them 2. Her inability to accept that I know Jesus and believe scripture. Which alerted me to 3. Her thinly vailed belief that only her specific group could provide answers and truth. Saying Jesus is the only way and Scripture is the Inspired Word of God is completely different than "my church is the only way and only my church can explain the Bible"

A couple months ago, I prayed and ask God for better understanding of the Bible and a couple of days later, I met this guy on upward. We became really close and I thought he was genuinely interested in me. He invited me have Bible study with him and fed me that same Ethiopian/Philip story. I was so excited when he introduced me to his mentor and we began to have Bible study together. I was already very knowledgeable of the Bible so I asked her many questions and she was really surprised. But whenever I asked her a question, her answer was well now is not the time for you to know. That really irritated me but I kept going. She then introduced me to the big Bible study and I started studying with them. I was assigned a “faith buddy” who the Lord revealed to me was there to just keep tabs on me. She would also encourage me to lie and say it’s okay to lie for God. Every-time I asked my instructor a question she always said, you’ll get to learn more later. I began to have a really bad feeling about it. I remember being at a friend’s house and I slipped into her room to do Bible study. When my instructor found out I wasn’t home, she got really angry and said I wasn’t “hiding the word” 😂 I became so confused and when I would express it to the guy who brought me, he was always like oh what would God say, you need to stick to it. Eventually I told my friend about it and she told me to pray because she had a bad feeling. I noticed that every time I would ask a question or bring up a point, it was discussed in the next meeting but they swore up and down they didn’t talk to each other. Eventually I became to confused and decided to go into a fast. Before the next Bible study, the Lord led me to look them up and find that they were shincheonji. I asked my instructor and immediately she wanted to have a phone call and told me not to look the info online and she would send me whatever I needed to know. That was honestly it for me. I became so depressed and decided to leave. The instructor tried to have a meeting with me to get me to stay and told me that I was abandoning and falling away from the word. After leaving, I was really depressed, confused, and even S**cid*l. I walked away from my faith for a while. I was so angry with the guy because I genuinely liked him. Angry with my faith friend and everyone else. But THANK JESUS today my faith has been redeemed. I am still crazy in love with Jesus and have been set free and purged of this ungodly nonsense. I really pray that those people are set free because they are genuinely so nice. But I remember that we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood. I advise everyone to be careful, ask God for discernment, and lastly TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. You are not crazy, you are not being led away by satan, and let the real Holy Spirit guide you. I know you may experience confusion after leaving, but just remember that God is and always will be there for you. I also noticed that they never really focused on Jesus as much it was all parables but I left before that man hee lee nonsense got introduced!

In 2 Timothy 2:16 NKJV tells us to study to show thyself approved unto God and it was speaking of false teachers we are in the last days and now is not the time to slack in our time in the word because we will fall victim to listening to what someone else says instead of studying for ourselves and yes Jesus was not talked about a lot and honestly if it wasn't for Jesus where would we be as Christians
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!!! I was very guarded when I started studying 9 months ago. And the studies in depth of parables was really what got me. The minute they said I "received" the "oil". I knew this was false. That's when I realised there was no focus on Jesus. That's when I knew something was really off. Someone told me "church" groups will have truths too. And when I question them on the Holy Spirit, they said that we don't have the Holy Spirit with us. I remember the verse Mt 12:31-32 And I knew it was time to depart from them.
If you are watching this here are the red flags I see from being in it for a little while 1) Tell you not to tell friends and family 2) Try to control every element (write in notebook, be on camera, dress nice, answer all at the same time, won’t tell you the commitment or how long the class is until you are already in it, get more strict, can’t communicate with other people in class) 3) Evades questions and tell you “food at the proper time” to delay the answers 4) LIARS - I downright asked them if this was SCJ and they lied in my face I guess they missed that scripture 5) They use people you’ve known for awhile to recruit you. 6) They create flying monkeys. Ask a question about their organization and see how they start putting meetings on your schedule with the higher ups. 7) They start making your relationship with God more communal than personal. Tell you to only pray about things concerning the Kingdom 8) They will kill your personality you won’t have any dreams or goals anymore 9) They use the scripture to instill fear in you and promote their Bible study as the truth and use manipulative examples to make you feel like if you leave you are a seed of Satan.
I'm currently in their zoom classes, about 2 months in. I knew something was off from the start but after discovering all this, there's no wonder. I'm not sure how to go about helping the other 40+ people in the class that don't know yet...do I quickly comment in the chat about who they are and dip so people at least have the "Shincheonji" name to Google and search for themselves? They've made us all use fake names (fav movie character) and I guess the reason for that is so people can't do what Alivia did and warn eachother. This month officially marks 1 year that I left the group. I was approached through United Young as well by a friendly girl who invited me to the “bible study.” I spent 6 uncomfortable months in the group, and thank God almighty for pulling me out of there. SCJ is deceitful and completely distorts the word of God.
They almost got me, I was lucky in that the holy spirit highlighted something they said after 10 weeks of indoctrination via bible study. I searched the net and found out it was these people.

When people are freakishly nice and outgoing out of the blue be on guard. They tried to get me too. Wow you guys are awesome getting 15 people out!!! I been in this for their whole parable series and they were just about to be revealing who this “promised pastor” was but just before this had us invite people to join, so I had invited a couple people, one just started. I had a homework assignment to give a short explanation on how one of the parables point to a promised pastor for today, so the point of this is to get us to admit that this is in fact the truth..so much psychological damage, so when they do reveal the promise pastor you actually stated that it was true by the parable teaching in the Bible. So I was really struggling with this, I literally could not find any biblical explanation of a promise pastor only their interpretations that point to this, nothing in the Bible actually points to this concept. I just did a RUclips search on promised pastor at second coming and finally I found out the truth of this group, Schinchonji….i just found out yesterday. I was in this group for a year, I left in January 2022. I still feel some trauma from it😅 I was a brand new Christian when I got approached by a normal looking Christian girl on Instagram. I thought it was just a humble group of people too because they mailed me birthday gifts and money etc… then they manipulated me and told me to lie to my family & boyfriend about joining the course. I told my bf and he told me DO NOT join the class! But I did it anyways. It was the worst decision of my life for sure. And in 2022 once I was trying to find the real faith in Jesus in the Bible with only the Holy Spirit and prayer, I realized me joining the class was me being like Eve and my boyfriend like Adam💔 I will always regret this
Don't beat yourself up, honey!! it's a learning experience I could believe I joined it either but it helped sharpen my discernment and I am now able to help others who go through similar situations it taught me to get in my word and read it myself instead of listening to what people say

The reason I said this is because everything was going well so far with me and I'm learning alot, like the sealed book, prophesy, fulfilled ment, soft food, solid food ect. My husband & I were invited to a Bible study from a friend in Chicago, they seem legitimate but soon as we continued our studies, we saw red flags! Long story short we confronted the “senior pastor” that their teachings seemed like “mixing teaching” & we insisted to know their source of curriculum. We didn’t see salvation by grace, they denied the deity of Christ & didn’t mention the Holy Spirit. Through some investigating on our own, discover the New Creation Bible Study by the Chicago Church was associated with Zion Christian Mission Center aka Shincheonji aka New Heaven New Earth. I confronted my friend, couldn’t believe we waste four months on this & felt like we were being programmed & brainwash! I’m very sick with ME/CFS & POTS, I was looking to grow my faith in traditional Christian teaching but knowing I was being indoctrinated to a stupid cult upset me beyond belief esp because I’m a Korean American & am aware of Korean cults. I felt so violated & abused with their tactics. I tried to warn my friend but she is so heavily invested, she is an exact replica of the cult members. Their abusive & underhand practices are disgusting & despicable! All people must be warned & be aware of this deceitful cult hiding behind other names, being so secretive & manipulative. I’ve been doing Bible studies for 7 months I just found out it was scj the only way I found out is I was send people on Facebook the Bible studies invites and they asked was I apart or SCJ. I am so sorry to hear that honestly, it sounds like my situation at the time I was so confused but I stayed in prayer some thing that stuck out to me that showed me something was up was them telling us not to do research or not to tell anyone because I've never experienced that in any Bible study that I have attended nor has my parents or family because we are all Christians like usually in Bible study. I’m in intermediate and they just told us a couple weeks ago we’re in Revelation 18 currently and keep talking about the one who overcomes kinda more then Jesus is what had me feeling kinda weird. When I first looked at things online yesterday I felt like it’s just Satan testing me but now after watching multiple videos from other people who’ve been in the group and they have recently told us we should leave our churches is giving so many red flags.

Hey! I hope all is well. Did you listen to the whole video? If not, we just gathered information and understood enough biblically to know the lies they told us weren't true so they could not confuse us. That's why we read the word for ourselves because many can take it out of context and not read the whole chapter but instead take out a verse to make it for what they want, but we blocked them and didn't join the calls again and made sure we prayed and read our word. we will be starting our bible study soon until then stay in your word and prayer

Are there any videos of ppl who refute the SCJ with scripture? I appreciate testimonies but the standard is found in the word, I have been investigating, and I find that everyone just shares their experience of their ‘cult’ culture, but what I am after is TRUTH. I don’t mean to invalidate testimony, but people can fabricate lies & we can’t rely on our own emotion (that’s how cults thrive BCS of what they’re able to make ppl feel) which is why the word is important & can rebuke us
The main foundation of their doctrine-that the spirit of Jesus Christ is working through only one man, Man Hee Lee. Jesus is on his throne in Heaven until his return, a time which everyone on earth will know when it happens (Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him). They believe those who follow SCJ teachings are the only ones who understand the Bible and are therefore saved. The gospel says all who have faith and repent will have life everlasting. Not “all those who listen to a man who will change his interpretation of the scriptures multiple times in a decade” And most of all, they believe Jesus is a prophet and a spirit, not God incarnate.
I understand from my experience of actually being in the cult they would say things that contradict the bible like you are not saved unless you know parables or that you won't make it into heaven if you do not know parables. Romans 10:9 contradicts what they told us about being saved you would have to actually experience the cult and know the word for yourself to see that what they are telling you does not make sense

First of all I loved this video❤️❤️❤️. And if you guys ever have a REAL Bible study I'm here. So..... The ironic thing is they also teach about cults in one of their classes. I was recruited by a Korean girl in a Pen pal app. And in my head I know I'm not a good Christian so I accept the Bible meetings I'm gonna grow spiritually after all right? Everyone was so friendly and nice very nice. The first few lessons were good. But for me the first red flags came in the exams. They gave us questions with the answers there already and they told us if exam period came, we have to write it the same way. I found it ridiculous because I've never been taught this way before. Even real teachers in schools don't do this. They don't write answers and tell you you have to write exact to the punctuation. So exam came and I wrote in my own way instead of one word answers. And the teachers didn't like that. I knew me and some other students did well but we had to take the test again because no one got 100% 🙄. 2.) Our teacher said that having another god is a sexual sin🤨. OK I understand the commandment " You may have no other God but me" . But how is it sexual? 3.) They said not to tell other people about the secrets of heaven and the word of God. Not even family...Excuse me?? How did you find me then?? 🧐 4.) There's this one time some of us didn't have lights because of where we live and this teacher was like,, " use your mobile data or something. Will you tell God you didn't come to the class because you didn't have lights?? God will tell you depart from me!!" And many other ridiculous things. The Holy Spirit opened your eyes and ears to see that this was not normal and strange. They are being very secretive was a red flag because, again, we are called to spread the word of God, and the good news is you should try to share this with your friends but also understand that a lot of people in the “Bible study” that we thought were friends have been apart of it for years and lied and said they were new like us keep praying, and I will be doing the same for you. when we put together a bible study i will let you know❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Everyone can quote or cherry-pick Bible verses. The question is did they use the verses in its proper context? A proper Bible study is done by reading the whole book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, start to end, no jumping around.

I got out on January.. I did 7 month. I left a real Bible college. I was drawn to it by studying Prophecies. Yet I was in real Bible college and I left it because it was called maddening wine. Yet I stayed because it was interesting to know about Prophecies. But I started seeing the same drawings on every lesson it bought red flags. I was there for the first lessons till the test. When I failed it yet they said it’s ok.. you can move on. Then they told me not to look social media.. bla bla bbla … I said ok after that I did my research and blocked everyone.. I called my pastor and had him pray.. I was mad because this group used the Bible in ways but they couldn’t confuse me.. a lot went on especially at my age… I praise God..

Omg I just learned that today! They said we had to hide the “treasure” like the man who found the hidden treasure, hid it, and sold all he had. Then they used another scripture in Isaiah where he said daughter against mother, son against father and said beware of your family and even your husband. Thats when my stomach started turning because I felt like they are leading up to isolation. AND THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. I ask them what their name is and they keep saying “we are missionaries who came together to teach the word”. All of the teachings and drawings are the same so they learned it from one source. Secondly, they lowkey are getting more strict. You can’t eat on camera, you have to sit up, dress nice. They even put people in a time out room for not having their camera on. The most telling part is if you have a question they start scheduling meetings with the Bible study teachers letting you know they talk behind the scenes to fly monkey you when you seem insubordinate. They hate QUESTIONS about who they are saying “food at the proper time”!

Months ago a young lady approached me in Target saying she wanted to invite me to a bible study and asked if i was interested, did i have any questions about God. I told her, "Thank you, but I'm involved in a church where I serve and am part of a small group". She pushed again, "So you don't have any questions about God or the Bible? Our group is part of Bible College". At this point my Spidey Sense was full on tingling... I asked, "What Bible college?" She said, "It's just called Bible College." I felt very uneasy already and the lack of a name to provide context was another red flag. I responded, "Besides growing up in church with lots of opportunities to learn, my husband also graduated from Talbot School of Theology, so I'm lucky. I have easy acess to his bible scholar side." She asked, if she could have my phone number, again, weird... Why did she feel the need to continue to push this class on me if I was identifying myself as a Bible believing Christian? I gave her an email address that I use for stores , looking back I shouldn't even have done that with how uncomfortable she made me. In the moment i was trying to be nice and give her the benefit of the doubt in case she was just a new overly excited Christian. Just this evening i was searching my email for something and came across the flyer this lady had sent me. Out of curiosity I opened it to read the info and did a search which lead me to you ladies and some other info. I fully agree with you all about this group. This poor lady I met is clearly part of this cult. Praise God for His protection over you!
To summarize my warning signs were
1. Purposely vague titles "Bible Study" "Bible College", keeps you from being able to identify them
2. Her inability to accept that I know Jesus and believe scripture. Which alerted me to
3. Her thinly vailed belief that only her specific group could provide answers and truth.
Saying Jesus is the only way and Scripture is the Inspired Word of God is completely different than "my church is the only way and only my church can explain the Bible"

A couple months ago, I prayed and ask God for better understanding of the Bible and a couple of days later, I met this guy on upward. We became really close and I thought he was genuinely interested in me. He invited me have Bible study with him and fed me that same Ethiopian/Philip story. I was so excited when he introduced me to his mentor and we began to have Bible study together. I was already very knowledgeable of the Bible so I asked her many questions and she was really surprised. But whenever I asked her a question, her answer was well now is not the time for you to know. That really irritated me but I kept going. She then introduced me to the big Bible study and I started studying with them. I was assigned a “faith buddy” who the Lord revealed to me was there to just keep tabs on me. She would also encourage me to lie and say it’s okay to lie for God. Every-time I asked my instructor a question she always said, you’ll get to learn more later. I began to have a really bad feeling about it. I remember being at a friend’s house and I slipped into her room to do Bible study. When my instructor found out I wasn’t home, she got really angry and said I wasn’t “hiding the word” 😂 I became so confused and when I would express it to the guy who brought me, he was always like oh what would God say, you need to stick to it. Eventually I told my friend about it and she told me to pray because she had a bad feeling. I noticed that every time I would ask a question or bring up a point, it was discussed in the next meeting but they swore up and down they didn’t talk to each other. Eventually I became to confused and decided to go into a fast. Before the next Bible study, the Lord led me to look them up and find that they were shincheonji. I asked my instructor and immediately she wanted to have a phone call and told me not to look the info online and she would send me whatever I needed to know. That was honestly it for me. I became so depressed and decided to leave. The instructor tried to have a meeting with me to get me to stay and told me that I was abandoning and falling away from the word. After leaving, I was really depressed, confused, and even S**cid*l. I walked away from my faith for a while. I was so angry with the guy because I genuinely liked him. Angry with my faith friend and everyone else. But THANK JESUS today my faith has been redeemed. I am still crazy in love with Jesus and have been set free and purged of this ungodly nonsense. I really pray that those people are set free because they are genuinely so nice. But I remember that we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood. I advise everyone to be careful, ask God for discernment, and lastly TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. You are not crazy, you are not being led away by satan, and let the real Holy Spirit guide you. I know you may experience confusion after leaving, but just remember that God is and always will be there for you.
I also noticed that they never really focused on Jesus as much it was all parables but I left before that man hee lee nonsense got introduced!

In 2 Timothy 2:16 NKJV tells us to study to show thyself approved unto God and it was speaking of false teachers we are in the last days and now is not the time to slack in our time in the word because we will fall victim to listening to what someone else says instead of studying for ourselves and yes Jesus was not talked about a lot and honestly if it wasn't for Jesus where would we be as Christians

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!!! I was very guarded when I started studying 9 months ago. And the studies in depth of parables was really what got me. The minute they said I "received" the "oil". I knew this was false. That's when I realised there was no focus on Jesus. That's when I knew something was really off. Someone told me "church" groups will have truths too. And when I question them on the Holy Spirit, they said that we don't have the Holy Spirit with us. I remember the verse Mt 12:31-32
And I knew it was time to depart from them.

If you are watching this here are the red flags I see from being in it for a little while
1) Tell you not to tell friends and family
2) Try to control every element (write in notebook, be on camera, dress nice, answer all at the same time, won’t tell you the commitment or how long the class is until you are already in it, get more strict, can’t communicate with other people in class)
3) Evades questions and tell you “food at the proper time” to delay the answers
4) LIARS - I downright asked them if this was SCJ and they lied in my face I guess they missed that scripture
5) They use people you’ve known for awhile to recruit you.
6) They create flying monkeys. Ask a question about their organization and see how they start putting meetings on your schedule with the higher ups.
7) They start making your relationship with God more communal than personal. Tell you to only pray about things concerning the Kingdom
8) They will kill your personality you won’t have any dreams or goals anymore
9) They use the scripture to instill fear in you and promote their Bible study as the truth and use manipulative examples to make you feel like if you leave you are a seed of Satan.
I'm currently in their zoom classes, about 2 months in. I knew something was off from the start but after discovering all this, there's no wonder. I'm not sure how to go about helping the other 40+ people in the class that don't know yet...do I quickly comment in the chat about who they are and dip so people at least have the "Shincheonji" name to Google and search for themselves? Uhhh I feel so bad.
Edit: I noticed that you said people's names were listed in the zoom class, that is not the case in mine. They've made us all use fake names (fav movie character) and I guess the reason for that is so people can't do what Alivia did and warn eachother. That was a great idea she had, 15 people saved from this heresy is awesome.

This month officially marks 1 year that I left the group. I was approached through United Young as well by a friendly girl who invited me to the “bible study.” I spent 6 uncomfortable months in the group, and thank God almighty for pulling me out of there. SCJ is deceitful and completely distorts the word of God.
They almost got me, I was lucky in that the holy spirit highlighted something they said after 10 weeks of indoctrination via bible study. I searched the net and found out it was these people.

When people are freakishly nice and outgoing out of the blue be on guard. They tried to get me too. I went to 4 Bible studies on zoom and by the third one they were trying to offer a "free theology course" and at first I thought it was ok so I was going to say yes but thankfully the Holy Spirit has opened my eyes before I got too deep.

Wow you guys are awesome getting 15 people out!!! I been in this for their whole parable series and they were just about to be revealing who this “promised pastor” was but just before this had us invite people to join, so I had invited a couple people, one just started. I had a homework assignment to give a short explanation on how one of the parables point to a promised pastor for today, so the point of this is to get us to admit that this is in fact the truth..so much psychological damage, so when they do reveal the promise pastor you actually stated that it was true by the parable teaching in the Bible. So I was really struggling with this, I literally could not find any biblical explanation of a promise pastor only their interpretations that point to this, nothing in the Bible actually points to this concept. I just did a RUclips search on promised pastor at second coming and finally I found out the truth of this group, Schinchonji….i just found out yesterday. I been looking up all these kinds of stories and I just can’t even believe I got tricked into this. Please pray for me, I need so much healing!!!! I just told my friend who joined so she knows. I was in this group for a year, I left in January 2022. I still feel some trauma from it😅 I was a brand new Christian when I got approached by a normal looking Christian girl on Instagram. I thought it was just a humble group of people too because they mailed me birthday gifts and money etc… then they manipulated me and told me to lie to my family & boyfriend about joining the course. I told my bf and he told me DO NOT join the class! But I did it anyways. It was the worst decision of my life for sure. And in 2022 once I was trying to find the real faith in Jesus in the Bible with only the Holy Spirit and prayer, I realized me joining the class was me being like Eve and my boyfriend like Adam💔 I will always regret this

The other girl asked what church is this Bible study organization through and asked if this is associated with shincheonji but at the end of the day we knew what they were teaching wasn't right so we left and stayed in our word and prayer and did our own Bible study together occasionally

My husband & I were invited to a Bible study from a friend in Chicago, they seem legitimate but soon as we continued our studies, we saw red flags! Long story short we confronted the “senior pastor” that their teachings seemed like “mixing teaching” & we insisted to know their source of curriculum. We didn’t see salvation by grace, they denied the deity of Christ & didn’t mention the Holy Spirit. Through some investigating on our own, discover the New Creation Bible Study by the Chicago Church was associated with Zion Christian Mission Center aka Shincheonji aka New Heaven New Earth. I confronted my friend, couldn’t believe we waste four months on this & felt like we were being programmed & brainwash! I’m very sick with ME/CFS & POTS, I was looking to grow my faith in traditional Christian teaching but knowing I was being indoctrinated to a stupid cult upset me beyond belief esp because I’m a Korean American & am aware of Korean cults. I felt so violated & abused with their tactics. I tried to warn my friend but she is so heavily invested, she is an exact replica of the cult members. Their abusive & underhand practices are disgusting & despicable! All people must be warned & be aware of this deceitful cult hiding behind other names, being so secretive & manipulative. I pray God expose & dismantle them!!! Lord, make them repent before it’s too late!

I’ve been doing Bible studies for 7 months I just found out it was scj the only way I found out is I was send people on Facebook the Bible studies invites and they asked was I apart or SCJ. So I texted my instructor and asked it took forever to reply and then wanted to talk on the phone then she said I shouldn’t look it up on the internet the knowledge of good and evil this just happened yesterday I’m so confused and upset right now
I am so sorry to hear that honestly, it sounds like my situation at the time I was so confused but I stayed in prayer some thing that stuck out to me that showed me something was up was them telling us not to do research or not to tell anyone because I've never experienced that in any Bible study that I have attended nor has my parents or family because we are all Christians like usually in Bible study. You're able to leave and tell people or your loved ones but they told us not to so it was a big red flag and then of course they confessed that they were SCJ

I’m in intermediate and they just told us a couple weeks ago we’re in Revelation 18 currently and keep talking about the one who overcomes kinda more then Jesus is what had me feeling kinda weird. If not, we just gathered information and understood enough biblically to know the lies they told us weren't true so they could not confuse us. That's why we read the word for ourselves because many can take it out of context and not read the whole chapter but instead take out a verse to make it for what they want, but we blocked them and didn't join the calls again and made sure we prayed and read our word. we will be starting our bible study soon until then stay in your word and prayer

Are there any videos of ppl who refute the SCJ with scripture? I appreciate testimonies but the standard is found in the word, I have been investigating, and I find that everyone just shares their experience of their ‘cult’ culture, but what I am after is TRUTH. If SCJ is from the enemy, then the word of truth will tear down their fallacy & that is what I’m after 😢 (the truth not just testimony but word coming from God)

The main foundation of their doctrine-that the spirit of Jesus Christ is working through only one man, Man Hee Lee. Jesus is on his throne in Heaven until his return, a time which everyone on earth will know when it happens (Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him). They believe those who follow SCJ teachings are the only ones who understand the Bible and are therefore saved.
The gospel says all who have faith and repent will have life everlasting. Not “all those who listen to a man who will change his interpretation of the scriptures multiple times in a decade”
And most of all, they believe Jesus is a prophet and a spirit, not God incarnate.

I understand from my experience of actually being in the cult they would say things that contradict the bible like you are not saved unless you know parables or that you won't make it into heaven if you do not know parables. Romans 10:9 contradicts what they told us about being saved you would have to actually experience the cult and know the word for yourself to see that what they are telling you does not make sense

The ironic thing is they also teach about cults in one of their classes. I was recruited by a Korean girl in a Pen pal app. And in my head I know I'm not a good Christian so I accept the Bible meetings I'm gonna grow spiritually after all right?
Everyone was so friendly and nice very nice. The first few lessons were good. But for me the first red flags came in the exams. They gave us questions with the answers there already and they told us if exam period came, we have to write it the same way.
I found it ridiculous because I've never been taught this way before. Even real teachers in schools don't do this. They don't write answers and tell you you have to write exact to the punctuation.
So exam came and I wrote in my own way instead of one word answers. And the teachers didn't like that. I knew me and some other students did well but we had to take the test again because no one got 100% 🙄.
2.) Our teacher said that having another god is a sexual sin🤨. OK I understand the commandment " You may have no other God but me" . But how is it sexual?
3.) They said not to tell other people about the secrets of heaven and the word of God. Not even family...Excuse me?? How did you find me then?? 🧐
4.) There's this one time some of us didn't have lights because of where we live and this teacher was like,,
" use your mobile data or something. Will you tell God you didn't come to the class because you didn't have lights?? God will tell you depart from me!!"
And many other ridiculous things.

The Holy Spirit opened your eyes and ears to see that this was not normal and strange. They are being very secretive was a red flag because, again, we are called to spread the word of God, and the good news is you should try to share this with your friends but also understand that a lot of people in the “Bible study” that we thought were friends have been apart of it for years and lied and said they were new like us keep praying, and I will be doing the same for you.

Everyone can quote or cherry-pick Bible verses. The question is did they use the verses in its proper context? A proper Bible study is done by reading the whole book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, start to end, no jumping around.
