  • Welcome or welcome back if you are new, so happy you are here
Today’s video is a testimony segment of the time God called me out of false prophecy
The words of Paul in Galatians 1:6-10 also helped me understand that the words of this group was false. Meditation in John 10: 1-18 will give you that pull as well. I encourage you to be in closeness with the Lord through his word to pull you out!
I hope you enjoy and take this as awareness from the ones leading you further from the Lord🤍

I'm in this group called Nazarite project I started in April and everything you're talking about is exactly what's happening. And I started questioning a lot about their teachings this week and I came here on RUclips and found you.. this is a confirmation from The LORD. We do bible study Friday, Saturday and Sunday via zoom. I'm leaving right away

That’s the problem as Christian’s you start off worshipping and idolising Jesus so idolising people is normal. Where as Muslims God says in Quran we are all his slaves in the of Mary even Muhammad and Jesus and Abraham Adam Noah all prophets but still so slaves of God.

FORMER UK MEMBER HERE (5 years in SCJ):
1, First of all a MASSIVE well done Shanté for not staying, picking up on the clues and sharing this warning! The method of recruitment SCJ use is phenomenal.
    2. As a former leader in my previous church, where I even sat as a Deacon and lead multiple groups and was aware of cults, SCJ is incredibly skilled at targeting and convincing people from a wide range and stages in their faith. I say this to warn any who think, "this cannot happen to me". There are sessions given with members and leaders to ensure that a tailored approach is given to every individual they recruit.
    3. To Shantés point on being paired with other members in the church. This is EXACTLY what they do and is a method for them to find out information about you which is then shared internally. I.e. anything you tell someone who introduces you to the bible study, they in turn share with other members (especially the class teachers, their Cell leaders and other members (known as "Leaves") who would be assigned to monitor you whilst you are doing bible study.
    4. To anyone currently attending a SCJ bible study and who is still torn thinking, "but what if Shanté didn't understand everything and should have stayed longer to find out the full truth, details and context of what they have to say". As a former member who was there for 5 years and who was a leader and assistant leader of a cell and is aware of much more of the goings on, there is nothing more that awaits except more incredibly crafted lies and tactics that are in a league of their own - well other than the methods they adopted from other cults - but members will not be told this of course. SCJ is positioned as the only church teaching and leading the way that it does, but research quickly exposes some critical origins to the methods they adopt.
    5. To any CURRENT MEMBERS reading this, PLEASE LEAVE. As someone who lost a pivotal 5 years and now lives with that fact, it's not worth it. Do not worry about feelings of shame, guilt, worry, fear and the myriad of other thoughts/ emotions bombarding you - there is life after SCJ and God brings incredible healing,
    6. They will use different names, often to disguise the names of their bible studies or to mask the organisation. Typically the are known as SCJ or Schincheonji, or The Temple of The Tabernacle of Testimony or New Heaven New Earth.
I pray this helps even one person! Blessings 🙏🏾

Wow I was in SCJ IN Atlanta GA FOR 5 years of my life as well. From really almost 6 from 19 years old to 25 yrs. I would say a huge waste of time but it’s apart of my testimony. This is a high control group and a cult. Unfortunately I was the 3rd class in the region 😅 so it was very stressful. I’m not sure what class they’re in now but 36th class just came into the church when I left a year ago they were NB’ing ( evangelizing) for that class so. It took them a year.
I witnessed physical abuse and kept asking why it was being covered up in the “sea of glass” and the regional GSN (kangsaneem) called me stupid for being raped as a virgin and refused to apologize for calling me stupid. let’s say her name is “Linny GSN” similar to this spelling.
They will appear very nice and very happy DO NOT fall for it. They’re trained overtime basically groomed to “shine the light” and have bright faces around the fruit (you the victim would be the fruit) the person or ppl that sit next to you in class are called leaves they spy on you. They take notes on what you’re doing for example Shay is scrolling instagram during intro lesson 5. She mentioned she has a boyfriend during our break ( they will try to break up ALL relationships even if you’re not fornicating)
These ppl study personality’s they have trainings on how to use tactics for heart type ppl action type ppl and head type ppl, they study enneagrams. Which is demonic. Some ppl’s parents have even been deceived
And joined SCJ while I was there. Don’t think it can’t be you.
They also threatened me to take legal action if I spoke out about the cult however my testimony is my experience and that in itself is insane.
I’m not ashamed to say I’m from the actual city of Atlanta the hood of Atlanta (Atlanuh) and I always wondered why everyone sounded the same like robots the other members were mostly from Gwinnett GA or the suburbs. They were very green and mostly all talked “proper” but then they started talking like Koreans speaking English and it was very weird and no I did not conform to this. I refused. You’re told you shouldn’t have your personality anymore literally that was said 😅. We also never evangelized in the hood they only wanted to go to Lenox mall or Ponce city market or GA State Campus and GA Tech Campus, plazas in the suburbs. Never green brier mall lmao never south lake never the west end…. Never hitting the places where ppl also need God. It’s all ridiculous if you’re afraid of going to Hell; so that’s why you haven’t left. let me give you this scripture Proverbs 6:16-19 talks about the 7 things God hates. God hates a lying tongue and haughty eyes. Haughty eyes meaning pride thinking you’re better than others and ultimately God. SCJ subliminally believes they’re better than the ppl who don’t belong to their “church” organization/cult. There is no privacy in SCJ everyone will know your business and your sin. Ex: you have a drinking problem. Anyways you will NOT go to hell for leaving however you still must renounce all their beliefs and truly accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior. SCJ is lying and even always preach revelation 22:8&16 do not add or subtract from the book of revelation or you will be cursed and name take n out the book of life meanwhile they are adding to revelation something that is literally not there. Y’all be vigilant stay prayed up.

@@kazbaby261 SO GLAD you made it out! Even happier you're able to use it as a testimony and to warn others. The best way to let God turn what Satan intended for evil, to be good for others. 🙌🏾. These videos and testimonies are going to help A LOT of people!!
Did they "make" you do the weekly exams also? As you know, we've got to say "make" (rolls eyes) because SCJ are brilliant at getting you to do what they want through subtle guilt tactics, or suggestions, where saying no is essentially being rebellious to God.
Without a doubt though, the breakdown of friend/ family relationships this group carries out is amongst the most painful. And the confidence in how they do it is frightening.
I've been to South Korea to visit the Philip Tribe headquarters and visit some other "important" locations related to the cult. It's crazy the scale they have out there.

Thank you for this. I'm based in London and SCJ tried to recruit me - had no idea it was them until months after i stopped engaging with them. I noticed something wasn't right just before you move on from the small group to some course. An old friend invited me out, and I met a few of them and then they asked me to meet a woman, who they thought id get along with - which i did. I really opened up to her. It was the whole secrecy, sharing details about me, trying to force me on the course instead of going on a holiday I had planned that made me realise something wasn't right. I left and one day I read about SCJ,and did further digging only to find out that indeed it was them. All in all, the bible study led me to reading the bible for myself, and learn about God, Christianity all by myself.

This is basically what happened to me! I’m from London too, born and raised. And I was looking to make Christian friends so I downloaded bumble bff. I matched with a girl and she gave me her number straight away which I found very abrupt and a bit weird. She then began texting me and invited me to a Christian event. She never told me about any Bible studying. They are very secretive! So I was feeling unwell and had a cold or a flu and she kept pushing me to come to the event! So I thought okay maybe she’s just extroverted and comes off as pushy and bossy. So I thought let me go to the event. When I got to the event there were other young (20-25 year old) black Christian UK women. I thought woah I finally have Christian friends. We got along during the event but when the event ended and I was ready to go home one of the women were being very pushy towards me and basically forced me to join Bible studying. So I just joined. The next day when I was at home she messaged me saying let’s meet up for Bible studying so I did. The women told me that she doesn’t believe in dreams and that God cannot give you signs and messages in dreams. She also said that she doesn’t cancel bad dreams because it shows you’re fearful and don’t have faith in God basically. Whilst reading the Bible during the “Bible studying” I looked up and caught the woman giving me an evil glare. Then she registered me with the Bible course and they go by the name “Bible promise course” again I thought it was just a normal Bible course. She said the course is 6 months long and it will be with online and in person students. I was on TikTok one day and I was just scrolling causally and that’s when I saw a video of a black British Christian woman warning others that SCJ are a Korean cult and that they are recruiting people in London via the name “Bible promise course” I said no way. That’s when I went on the Bible promise course website and read the details properly. I found out that the course is ran by the same people that run SCJ. God saved me from these evil people. We must forgive and pray for them!

I stayed up to the point where I wanted to take the Bible classes again but I was conflicted and stressed because I had a lot going on. My pastor had mentioned people from other churches don’t heavily recruit for “Bible studies”in this way. I never joined the bigger Bible study. I had done a couple smaller Bible studies at a coffee shop & zoom. The girl (Korean) who recruited me would never give the name of the church or details. *warning super long post 😅*
I had this happen to me earlier this year. I was only attending the Bible study for about 2-3 weeks, mostly just to see what they were am about. But even just that relatively short amount of time really had me highly disappointed in myself. I have a very personal relationship with God, and a few years back I started learning in more depth (literally no one taught me or recruited me. I purely asked God, why are things so backwards, and started doing more research about certain mainstream doctrines that are taught to believers, and the Holy spirt started revealing them to me). I have learned so much, and am quick to point out when a doctrine isnt in line with what scripture actually says. So I never fully believed anything that those people were telling me. My approach is always, let me test your fruit first. Just like you described, I met someone at a store and she invited me to Bible study. She was constantly texting me and inviting me to lunch. Fortunately, due to my personal walk and in depth study, I actually keep the Sabbath as biblically described, so I wasn’t available to meet up with her as she always wanted to meet on Fridays and Saturdays. Biblical Sabbath starts sundown Friday and ends sundown Saturday. Biblically you aren’t to buy or sell, or make other people work. So going out to eat with her on those days was an automatic no. And the other days there was the zoom Bible study. Just like you I was praying for God to lead me to friends that are rooted in him. In fact, I had said a prayer in my car about this right before I entered the store. But i am aware that the enemy sends counterfeits when he knows you are looking for something from God. So my thing again is to not get too deep right off the bat. So I didn’t share any personal information with this lady I met, and I refused to put my camera on in the class because if i can’t even know the name of this organization (they gave us some rangin random general name) why do you need to see my face. I think they like it so they can watch you and see if you’re believing their BS or not. I never met the lady after our first meeting because I’m not meeting you over Shabbat sorry ma’am. At one point i did tell her that i observe the biblical Sabbath. She tried to connect with me on that point by asking if i was a seventh day adventist, or Jewish, and it's okay because we are all the same sisters. I am neither. I just told her I follow the Bible like the Bible says to follow the Bible sans man made doctrines. She started growing distant from me since then, only texting to make sure i was going to the Bible study, not the multiple random texts throughout the day. That's another thing they do, they just so happen to have the same interest or life circumstances as you, so you feel like you can relate to them. So they will pull information out of you, and try to make themselves match whatever you told them. But my path is hard to fake, so she couldn't connect with it.
My experience during the class was early on i noticed that i didn’t know who in the zoom meetings were the recruiters and who were the recruited like me. Like you said that was a red flag. I noticed that they don't answer certain questions. They always say "in the next class or in the in depth Bible study". I also mostly noticed that they try to make you question your own walk with God, And question the Holy spirit that leads you. So even though I knew they were BS-ing, somehow I started questioning myself and my journey which is what I was really disappointed in myself about. I was like girl… why are you questioning yourself. God has literally revealed his truth to you himself without any influence from other people. But they work on your hunger to get closer to God, and make you question the validity of your journey, and then tell you that they can “teach you”. No one has taught me anything The Holy sprit has lead me into what I’ve learned. But i started questioning myself using their phrases and questions. It reminds me of that verse that says Even the very elect are at risk of being deceived in the end times. I was able to pry some information out of my recruiter and used that to doa search and learned who these people are. ShincheonJi or NEW HEAVEN NEW EARTH in English. My experience taught me that I truly need to be rooted in the word and lead by the spirit in todays age, because idk if anyone else has noticed its been looking like Revelations outside for the past few years.
Something the Holy Spirit has revealed to me is that the MO of Satan hasn't changed since the garden. Everything that pulls you away from God has more or less this same pattern. 1) He gets you to doubt/reject the true word of God, 2) Manipulates your mindset by mixing truth with lies/misrepresenting truth, and 3) He gives you his version of truth (which always turns out to be straight lies, but you wont find out till waaaaay later), and his lie always makes you yourself or someone/thing else your God. This group and most other cults follow this same pattern. If you look closely the majority of evil in this world follows this same pattern.
    In the garden:
Eve tells satan that God says not to eat from this tree because she will die. Satan says "is that what God really said?" = doubt/reject Gods word
Satan says "you shall not SURELLY die". Which was some what true. They didn't physically die right then, but they did die an immediate spiritual death which leads to them eventually dying physical deaths later. Now every human has to die, and our saviour had to die to restore mankind back to everlasting life. The wages of sin (aka disobedience) is death.= mixing truth with lies/misrepresenting truth.
Satan says God doesn't want you to eat it because "you will be like God, knowing right from evil". Which is a lie. The truth= God wants us to learn all things from him and not use our own ways. He wants us to get our wisdom from him and his word, not outside sources. Eating from that tree puts distance between humans and God because now humans think they know everything, when we actually know nothing. When we consult with ourselves or others instead of God, by default the worship goes to that source instead of God. Remeber Satan's characteristic "I will be like God" Isaiah 14:13-14. He wants us to be like HIM, and his root is disobedience.= his lie makes you/someone/thing else your God
This group starts by making you doubt the word of God that is plain as day written in black and white in the Bible, and they make you feel like you can't understand the Bible unless they teach it to you = the first part of satans equation. Then they mix truth with lies/misrepresent truth by twisting scripture all around= this is what their Bible studies are all about. Brainwashing you with their false doctrines. And then lastly they tell you the lie they want you to believe, that LMH is Christ incarnate = you graduate from the Bible study and join the church.
*God says "my people perish for the lack of knowledge". They didnt know this in the garden, and they didnt consult with God before doing so (think king David's pattern. King David always asked/verified with God before he did something (except for those 2 incidences: Bathsheba and the return of the ark). If Eve had said "wait, let me ask God first and confirm" God would have been like "Girl NO! Don't eat dat!"
The thing about Satan is his overt goal isn't necessarily for you to worship him. It's for you not to worship the one true God. That's it. That's all he wants. Why? Because he is the father of disobedience and false worship. So if you aren't aligned with God, by default you are aligned with Satan. I've seen so many of these cult expose videos and many people say because of their bad experience and trauma that they are stepping away from God. And that's exactly where the enemy wants them so the enemy has still won in their case. The enemy doesn't care if you go to Shincheonji or whatever. The only goal is to remove your seat in salvation. He's going to do what ever to achieve that. He already knows he's lost the game, he just wants as much company as he can get. I thank God for his wisdom to teach me these things. I praise God that you don't seem to have gone the way of giving up your walk with God, and I pray for the people that have abandoned their walk with God due to things like this.

But I didn’t pay attention, only to realise after I had been to a few meetings. Funny enough there were guys that were invested in trying to recruit me, one pretended to be new to this alongside me, while the other dude was the “descipler”, we opened the scriptures and I would refute a lot, with a lot of respect and I eventually told the dudes that I wasn’t keen on meeting up no more. That was the end of even the catch ups, glad I left because I saw the cult signs.

I used to be in this cult, it's actually easy to be deceived because most of us do not know the present Gospel of Salvation according to 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV and know God's will for everyone. It's easy to be saved, all you have to do is put your trust on what Christ did for you on the cross ( Christ's finished work on the cross). Faith comes from hearing! Trust Jesus Christ of the scripture not the religion of Christianity because most denominations accept men's traditions, they do not obey the Gospel of Christ and they mix law and grace.

This is so good, don’t feel embarrassed. Anything can happen to anyone if His Word is not our foundation.
I’ll say this bc it’s something I’m getting better at too, no judgement. When we wanna leave a group/ministry (and you know that feeling is coming from God, not pride or offense) we don’t owe anyone a text or explanation on why we leaving. We answer to GOD and GOD alone. That explanation could be the very thing that pulls us back into chaos cause they’ll make us feel like we’re overthinking.

Thanks for posting this. Looking at all of these videos, I am more disappointed and hurt than angry.
I was approached by two young women in a Walmart. It was right after church and they complemented my suit jacket. They asked me how long I had been Christian. I told them it had not been very long. They said they wanted to hear my testimony and we exchanged numbers. Later they introduced me to another young man who offered to go over the Bible with me. It seemingly went well, then he introduced me to another guy who was leading a zoom class. I attended the class for months (as the classes got progressively longer) until they mentioned that “figurative John” was a person that was living in Korea right now. That was just a bridge too far. Red flags and alarm bells went off. I just couldn’t go any further

Sis the same thing happened to me last year and let me tell you I didn't ever think I would be tricked into being in a cult because I thought I was smart but nope lol. So this is the story (2022) I decided to restart my relationship with Christ and I really wanted to be around other Christians to help me grow in my faith. So I prayed and prayed to god to help me find a Christian community until a girl randomly approached me one day when I was studying on campus. I was 21 and she already graduated 2 years before me making her 24. She said she was doing a survey (no pen or paper in sight) and asked me a question (I can't remember verbatim) "What kept me going" and I said my faith. We soon became friends and we got quite close. texting almost every day. She has a super bubbly personality and she also started telling me some of her family secrets and personal things and I believed god answered my prayers. Safe to say we got really close. (Keep in mind I was in an emotionally vulnerable time when all this was happening due to my dad being sick as I usually don't trust people quickly ) She told me how she wanted to grow her relationship with god as well and how we should study the bible together and I was on board. She then told me she actually has another friend who "is more knowledgeable" and told me that all 3 of us should study together. Then it became just me and the girl she introduced me to. We kept going for months meeting in person even at times. The red flags however started to show when I would miss these bible studies. She would read me versus and scold me about how I am not sacrificing my time to god therefore I would not be seeing the kingdom and she does it in a way that is convincing lol. She would seem to ignore me whenever I tell her that we are saved by grace, not by works. Anyway, she then told me her other friend started a bigger bible study and she wanted me to join I said I couldn't because I am super busy with work and school and the only time I have is to do bible study is with her( 2X A WEEK FOR 2 HOURS). Safe to say this upset her very much and she again told me that If I am not sacrificing my time to meet with them then I am going to hell basically and how the bible study grp is transformative to help us understand parables and prophesies. As soon as she said this I knew I needed to dip and I left immediately. I have given up on finding Christian friends or even going to bible study group. I want to just study the bible cover to cover and be more knowledgeable so I don't fall in deception ever again. By any chance are you in the DMV area? Jesus Christ, omg they took me out to coffee first, then korean bbq as well....what the hell???

Thank you so much for your testimony ! It appeases me a lot to hear all of this because I feel less alone. In may I actually got into this shincheonji "bible study" and stayed for 2 months despite witnessing many of the red flags you mentioned. Classes were about an hour and a half, 3 evenings a week, and we had homework each time. Honesty it just consumed my soul and body the whole time I was in it. I was exhausted, could not focus on work, had no time for friends, family or hobbies. We were encouraged to lie to our relatives and hide the bible study from them. I think the exhaustion caused me not to think clearly anymore, I was completely brainwashed and out of discernment. The last time I went, a brave guy from the class suddenly accused them of being a cult in front of everyone and exposed the whole scheme. It was a slap in the face, but it was just what I needed to wake up ! That evening when I got home, I blocked all of them, the "teachers", "managers" and the girls who recruited me and were pretending to go to the class with me. Can you believe that three days later, these CRAZY ASS people actually came and waited for me in from of the company I work for ??! At night ?! Scary ass hell and traumatizing bro. I will never be caught in something like this again.

I think I encountered a similar situation recently. I was searching for more Christian friends and Met this girl through bumble bff. At some point, she told me about all the virtual bible studies and seminar classes she was doing through a church in Chicago and invited me to come to one. I told her I am a in-person person but I'm willing to attend a bible study. I went and the girl wasn't even there but days later called me asking if I liked it. I immediately started asking questions such as, is there a website or social media page where I can find out more info about the church; what's the church denomination, etc. She had no info only zoom links and fliers.
Finally met her in person and she seem cool. She asked me if I liked the book of Revelations and if I wanted to attend the seminars for it. I reminded her that I prefer in person events so I wouldn't really attend. A few days later, she messaged me about attending an upcoming BS and if I was free at that time. That annoyed me because I knew I was clear before so I told her no, I'm not free. But my spiritual discernment was alert because her trying to get me to attending BS's and classes virtually when I already said how I felt about that let me know her motives and intentions needed to be watched and for me to proceed with caution. A few days later, she checked in on me and invited me to start classes. I straight ignored her and stopped responding all together.
I literally said, it feels like this is a cult that she is trying to deceitfully lure me into. But what she didn't know was I have a hard boundary for anyone who dismisses what I say and still try to get me to do what they want.

I went off on my evangelist (not that she had done anything wrong I kinda just word vomited and sobbed) and started doing research. Thank GOD he pulled us out. Now we need to pray without ceasing for those still under the false prophet and under the spirit of fear. My heart breaks for my brothers and sisters still in there. These innocent people think they are leading you to the kingdom of Heaven and they are terrified to research because they are scared of being poisoned. I prayed for a community of like-minded people to gain friendship and grow closer to God but in turn I got the opposite. It hurt me that they lied to my face for so long. In the back of my mind, I knew something was off with them but kept attending because I started to cherish the community aspect of it all. I even started to feel physically sick right before each class. I think this was my body trying to tell me to get out! I think this might be the bible study that I went to back in 2019ish (in England!) but I had other commitments and had to stop going a few weeks in ( they had 3 lessons a week) so I can’t confirm if they are the same. I also had an event before I started and some sort of ‘interview/discussion’ before I started
It’s so funny because I kept telling my friend I went with that this bible study is ‘giving cult’. They were so secretive and said not to exchange numbers and not to tell family and friends because they’ll discourage us etc.
sometimes they’d make analysis of things about Jesus/the bible and it would make me side eye because of the implications of what they were saying.
One of the other reasons I thought it was weird, was that each ‘leader’ of the bible study would give a story about their traumatic past and try to get you to share something as well. It just felt very off, almost fake

I’m from London, born and raised.

I have pulled back since and they have called me none stop. Tomorrow I'm meant to have a Bible study session to go through the revelation classes I've missed. And I'm going to cancel with them tonight. I never felt so far away from God as I did in this Bible studies. They rope you in with all the Bible knowledge that other church don't teach and that's what got me. I remembered a saying this morning as I was trying to figure out what to do.. while you're praying to God, there is another set of ears that listening. I'm a bit torn but I know this isn't right. Before I did, I went into their website and OMG, something stood out, the "new John" narrates his history on the website and what shocked me was..he states that he made a blood covenant. MY HEART SANK. Jesus was the sacrificial lamb that poured His blood for our sins. Once Jesus fulfilled his works on earth we no longer needed to do blood sacrifices. Let me tell you when I questioned the teacher about that, she kept saying that Jesus was here to fulfil the prophecy and that He sacrifice was not to say that it was the last sacrifice. I told her that your Christianity isn't focused on Jesus, and the fact they believe that the Holy Spirit is only in the new John is something I refuse to believe. She was shocked. I said this is a man. When I asked her straight do you believe that you will physically die, that your flesh will die.. because it seems like you believe your flesh does not die and that you believe in PHYSICAL ETERNAL LIFE.. she said yes that the Bible talks about physical eternal life in the Revelations. I just said thank you for what you've taught me and left. I WAS DISGUSTED THAT THEY KEPT THEIR BELIEVES AWAY FROM ME FOR 9 months. I can only pray for them and the friends I've lost to them. But God is Good and will not be mocked. Any organisation that refused to proudly testify to their Faith and the testimony of their Church from the beginning are deceived and deceitful. I’m from London, born and raised.

You know what's so odd someone else said this was the cult I joined back in Atlanta in 2018. I was oddly enough in college at the time and I was walking out of my college and these two people stopped me and they was like "You want to talk about Jesus?" and I said yeah I want to talk about Jesus. Now the second time they were suppose to meet up with me but they sent someone else because they said their car broke down. Than the other person they sent he met up with me maybe 4 times in the lobby of my student apartments going over the Bible. Then I ended up meeting someone he was suppose to come. She said his car broke down 😹. I don't know how I kept going then, but I did. I then met up with her a few times before meeting up with another lady you guessed it the other lady was supposed to meet up with me too but her car was broke down. I met up with her maybe 2 or 3 times before she told me about the Bible study in Lawrenceville. The lady straight up told me I couldn't let anyone know where I was going and I went back and forth with her like I can't lie. But like you, I actually prayed about having Godly friends, maybe a month or 2 prior I was going to a music college in the middle of downtown Atlanta and everyone around me was trying to tear me away from God and it was getting overwhelming. So when the lady was like I need to know you're serious about God I just kind of folded and decided to go. It was at this office building with a whole bunch of people about my age (including the first 3 people I met). All were led by Korean teaching and, they told you to pray when you came in and we would have like test over Bible verses we had to remember word from word and if you didn't remember it they would shame you about it. I finally left maybe like a month or 2 later I went home to Michigan for a doctor's appointment because I didn't have insurance in Georgia. The lady who was like my mentor when I was home wanted to do a Bible study with me over zoom but I was at my mom's house and she wanted me to like go in the bathroom or outside so my mom couldn't hear. I'm like lady I ain't doing all that 😹. I came back I talked to her for like maybe 2 hours went maybe one more time and the head lady had a talk with me because I was now more on this I got to lie thing seemed insane she used a out of context Bible verse where Paul talks about he becomes all things to all people. I read that chapter in full and the other one before showing the lady that's not what that means and she straight face tried to be like yeah but Jacob lied and God blessed him 😹. I knew then I couldn't go no more. I had planned on going the next day my mentor text me something and I just didn't feel right in my spirit so I blocked everyone so they couldn't get in contact with me anymore.

They are back now in Melbourne, I got recruited and the Bible study has something that is so unsettling, different from my local church preaching. It is horrific and manipulative, trying to talk me away from my family, my girlfriend, my college course and my church. The preaching get longer and more suffocating, and the students and preacher kept on calling me, harassing me with messages. I finally got out because my local church and community reached out at me and saved me, informed me about the cult.
Please, make more people see this video and take care of yourselves. May God bless you all.❤

I also was recruited in the DMV in 2023. I felt something was off, but they wouldn’t tell people who they were until we had already started getting the questions for the test. I was at least committed until I found out who these people were, so I could warn others. I didn’t leave my church despite their constant push. I confronted my “friends” who invited me to it. I’m praying they’ll get out of it. They always teach that most churches don’t teach about the parables. Unbeknownst to them, my church has and I’ve read the Bible for myself. I literally had only joined to study Revelation because my friend said it was a cover to cover Bible study. I didn’t stay to hear their explanation of Revelation. I don’t think I could stomach it.

Hey, I started going to the bible study sessions they’d have about 2 or 3 weeks ago and whilst at first I was happy at the idea of finding a community that shared my beliefs and values I was also still hesitant to embrace and accept everything. I remember asking if the bible study/church had a social media page or something like that so that I could know the name of the group/church. The person who invited me and another member proceeded to dodge this question altogether and it wasn’t until I’d attended this event, which I’m pretty sure you also mentioned in your video, that they mentioned a name. They actually didn’t mention the name of the church (SCJ) exactly but call it the Zion Mission Centre, but when I looked it up online, it’s linked to SCJ and everything. Once I started reading online where people were recounting their experiences with the group and it was matching my own (the initial stages at least since I didn’t do the free bible course that takes about 6 months), that’s when I started to take a step back and really pray for more discernment because I also had been praying for more friends and a community who were growing in their relationship with God before being approached by this group.

Ok, so I am in a bible group study that I was invited too from TIKTOK. Not sure if it’s a cult but I’ve noticed something’s. Don’t get me wrong they are good people but I believe I’ve been wrong about them. I’ve noticed that it’s a lot of 26 and or 25 year olds in the Bible study group. And not many others my age I’m 21 and there’s some that’s 19 and some that’s 20 I’ve also noticed being on some of the Bible study zoom the leader of the group in my opinion only cares for 26 year olds and makes me feel some type of way like the younger and the ones that’s 30 yrs young don’t matter. Also I’ve noticed that the friends that I made from the group I don’t believe they are my friends. Because I be having a feeling I can’t open up to them and or tell them my business. Which I’ve told them some of my business now ALL THO. so you think i could be in a cult without realizing it?

      @ShanteCrawford  2 месяца назад +1

Hm my question is what are they teaching? That is really strange that they gravitate towards the 25-26 years olds but what are the lessons like?
Also they do tend to recruit on apps! Bumble is a popular one they recruit on so that’s another factor.
When I met some of the girls and tried to get to know them more I will say sometimes there was a block on certain conversations it didn’t bother me personally but I will say, some didn’t want real friendship they just wanted you to stay in the study so keep an eye out for that !

I'm taking the course, I'm in advanced level (Revelation) up until now I don't see anything weird in the course, everything they teach me is according to the Bible.
One thing that I can't ignore at SCJ is they are the only one that can explain Revelation from chapter 1 to 22 with all details and it makes perfect sense, their testimony fits Revelation perfectly, I've never heard anything like this before it's so deep.
Why would God gives us the book of Revelation, if no one can explain it? If you ask questions about Revelation in your church they would probably say "I don’t know" they would make things up like 666 is the microchip.
They show me in the Bible where Jesus himself talks about someone that gonna come after him.
I will leave SCJ when someone can explain me the book of Revelation better than them or God himself talk to me.
Almost every testimony I heard from ex members is they asked God to help them getting closer to him and they found the course weeks or month later including myself (except I'm not an ex member), what a coincidence.🤔

    • @Roben315
      @Roben315 Месяц назад

      @ShanteCrawford
Right now, I'm seeking the Lord more than ever because I'm facing two different teachings: one from SCJ and the other from my church. I haven't left my church; I still attend regularly. But now, I'm receiving two messages, and you know what I do? I read my Bible. I listen to the word from SCJ and the word from my church, which I've been learning for the past 20 years.
Sometimes, what my pastor says doesn't make sense to me, but when I found this course from SCJ, things started to click. I use the Bible to judge whether what they say is true or not. I don't judge SCJ by their behavior, how they recruit people, or how they do evangelism. I judge them by the Bible. If what they say aligns with the Bible, I accept it. I'm not just accepting it because I've been in church for 20 years hearing the same things. If there's another teaching out there, I should give it a fair chance and see if it holds up according to the Bible-not based on their methods, but on the truth of the scripture.
We both believe in the Bible. If two people interpret it differently, we should listen to both and see which interpretation makes sense according to the Bible. If one doesn't, we should follow the one that does.
If you believe you have the truth, I encourage you to open your Bible and discuss it with them at SCJ, because the Bible is the ultimate truth. If you feel uncertain, ask your pastor to explain some verses and then ask SCJ the same questions. I think that's a wise step before making any decisions.
I hope my comments didn't offend you-I don't mean to be rude. I just wanted to share that I pray every day, asking God to give me a sign if SCJ is not the truth.

Think of it like that. Shincheonji is like a wolf in sheep clothing. They will get you the content you need and get you hooked. Those who are ultimately satisfied are stuck in the never-ending cycle of membership. The hardest thing to do is to leave while the easiest is to stay in. Staying in is the easy part.

    • @Roben315
      @Roben315 Месяц назад +1

@Naruske221 How can you tell it's a wolf? What are you basing that on? Are you judging them by their behavior? By how they recruit people? By how they do evangelism or manage their church? If that's how you're judging them, it's not a wise approach. I believe the best way to judge them is by using the Bible. If what they say aligns with the Bible, they're not a wolf or a cult. But if you can't point to something in the Bible that shows they're a cult, then they aren't one. I rely on the Bible. If you want to discuss them, bring verses, bring the Bible. Let the Bible speak. Then, people will see if they're wolves. But without the Bible, I'm sorry, the Bible is the ultimate truth.
