Technical term, "mush" them in. Just teasing. I enjoy watching you paint. You encourage me and I believe I can do it too. And for that, thank you. This is so pretty.
Such fun watching you paint. Stroke by delicate stroke, the field of dandelions , wheat and weeds sprang to life.Magical! Its close to midnight, here in India. Otherwise, i would have tried to experiment with the technique you showed. Also, I have to hunt for a plastic board. Thank you Ma'am. Good night.
I love it! This is happening with me today, I needed something fun! I have a vinyl clipboard I use,,it nice to clip my towel on it and sit outside,,and use a lot of water when it's dry temp. Thanks Ellen!
Love this idea, while you were painting I did your subject(s) in black marker in my sketch book so I can try @ a later time in watercolor. I’m into anything nature related..Thanks
I enjoyed this so much! Yes! Love how you started out one way and then still circled back around to add them. I feel you, I do the same thing. May start as one thing, but end up something totally different. That’s the beauty of art and being creative. I’m definitely going to try this wet back\wet front.
Having children young is really for those that have s strong natural support system. Others are better off taking time to build a support system before having kids. If you're already an isolated parent, try to find community in other parents, focusing on those that are doing well enough to be helpful to you and your child. If you can't, at least realize that what you are going through isn't normal or good, and try to offer the child what they were meant to receive as best you can... knowing that it's unfair to you but that you are sacrificing for them until help comes or they are grown up.
Are these things you do, for people who never painted before. I'm old and trying but wonder if these are for real artist or things I might be able to learn
You trip me out sometimes ! At night I smoke a small amount of weed and I hope no one has to thing that I'm a druggie for that, but oh well if you do. I have a whole lot of pain and it's hard on me and hard to sleep. So it's a must. Try is, it open the mind too ! So back to you Ellen, you trip me out cause when you start out , it always make me think your gonna mess up, and it takes a little while to see what exactly is going on. Then it's all the sudden its THERE ! Maybe that it's started to dry, or a certain twick ya do ? , but all the sudden it just looks so bitchen ! I really enjoy the videos and your personality. You so mellow ! It's cool. Thanks. My middle name is Ellen , so I like it . Not so common.
I loved everything about this except for the stark black lines inside the white fluffs. It makes it look like they are facing away from the viewer. Prior to putting those black lines in there, I saw some subtle brownish shading with some slightly darker brown "dots" in the center, so that it looked like the fluff balls were seen from all the way around the center. The rest of the piece is so soft, the black lines give it too much starkness.
This would be nice with cattails and marsh grasses.

Where did you get the pallet you are using to hold your water paper on?
Thank you for sharing! I'm new to watercolor, and it seems like most of my attempts are a little cartoonish.

love this and can’t wait to give it a try. did you recommend a certain paper for this “double wet” technique? TY!! 🌾
Beautiful awesome work💞💖💜❤❤💜❤💛❤❤💛❤💛❤💛❤❤💟💝💛💝💛💝💗💛💝💛❤💛❤💜💜💜
So does this save having to stretch the paper?

I can't get those tiny lines, is it the wrong brush or me?
