Being able to identify the issues is half the battle. I was the same way a good number of years ago but decided to make a change. Takes time with a shy personality, you'll get there through new experiences. You can break out of the (Corporate shyness) with that you can still remain shy on a social level. Just some thoughts.

It sounds like this job allowed a lot of growth opportunities for you personally, but wasn't the best fit in the long run. Life is a journey ✨️ and creating a better fit for you is so much better in the long run. ❤

I haven’t finished the video but wanted to stop and make a comment. This wasn’t the company for you. It is absolutely acceptable to say that you prefer doing one specific thing (and maybe helping out here and there). Lots of companies look for people that are willing to pigeon hole themselves. They can pay you the same rate and rely on your work. That may not be appealing to all, but if it’s something that you prefer, then look for a company that wants someone like you. 2) it’s okay to be introverted at work. I know a lot of people that can’t stand their colleagues and just typically do their job and go home. The only interactions they have with their coworkers is collaborating on projects when necessary. You don’t need to be best friends with the people at work. As long as you’re getting your work done and can support other team members who the hell cares. You don’t need to be so out there in HR. There are fields where you don’t really need to talk to anyone like payroll. But that’s not to say that in those more front facing roles there aren’t introverts because there absolutely is.
Just find the right place for you and don’t let this get you down. At the end of the day, we are not a slave to our jobs and if they get butthurt that you don’t want to be Someone’s friend there either they can suck it. They get enough of you at work.

Thank you for the feedback and encouragement! I agree they're different opportunities that are more aligned. 😊
