It is already a singular honor to be counted among the cast of your recreation of The Shadow, but to even share the same bill as Provost is a privilege I bow my head in humility to. Rest in peace, good sir...
Sorry about the re-upload. The original video was shithammered by the copyright Gods, and thus was blocked to half the world. Hopefully, this version remains available to all! If you'd like the audio version of this, to listen to Old Time Radio-style, here's a link to the MP3: www.mediafire.com/file/4q3u2k3hj1ut8fz/The_Shadow_-_DANGER_IN_THE_DARK.mp3
I'm shocked there hasn't been a resurgence of the old radio play, especially with the popularity of podcasts nowadays. It's a media that's crying out to be heard again.
After the last one you kids did..(awesome by the way)..i ended up watching, reading and drawing the Shadow for the next week. Well, i know now what I'm doing for the next week i guess.
Thank you for casting me again, Razor. It's unfortunate that the opening night should be hampered by needless copyright strikes. Again, I extend my condolences for the loss of your friend. Emer's performance was amazing, and it's a shame he can't be around to narrate more episodes. Happy Halloween everyone.
You know, it seems as though radio plays are a perfect fit for RUclips. I've been listening to this while cooking, and I can really see it catching back on again. Thanks Razor!
Thank you again Razor and company for another fun Shadow adventure. Really hope that this continues to be a thing with you guys. Also, my condolences to you and your friend's family.
This was a great idea, thanks for the upload. I wish more groups would do 're-creations' of some the classics of otr. Let us not lose our history! Love your other videos on the Shadow. Your background added more to explaining the depth of this character. Now I want to get into collecting some of the old pulp series
I use to listen to Groucho Marx's You bet your life, Peter Lorre's Black Cat & The Tell Tale Heart and The Shadow on cassette tapes, thanks for this (didnt have cable in Germany) Sent me right down memory lane!
Classy intro,Razor. I remember listening to the original Shadow broadcasts in middle school, and they made a lasting impact on my psyche and my creativity. R.I.P. Emer.
Great work. A new Shadow adventure is a treat for Halloween. Thanks for giving us a new Shadow adventures, since the guys who own the character aren't.
Amazing work once again!. I loved the first one and this one is just as good. I'm sure Mr. Prevost would be proud of his contribution here, may he rest in peace.
Another awesome recreation of this lost art! Excellent voice work by everyone involved, perfectly in the spirit of the actual broadcasts themselves. Truly awesome to listen to on Halloween, here's hoping this becomes a yearly tradition! Once again, Razor, I can't think you enough for introducing me to the boundless awesomeness that is The Shadow. God fucking Speed!
The Shadow did do a Christmas themed episode just about every year, hopefully if they can find a script for one of the lost Christmas episodes they'll think of doing one :-) Thank you so much for your amazing recreation Rageaholic!! It is a wonderful tribute to your friend.
This is like an old tiny radio show that I used to listen to when I was a lot younger except it’s cleaner great work my first real exposure story wise to the shadow as well
Man, this is fucking amazing. I've been really getting back into radio dramas these past couple of years (Big Finish's Doctor Who is better than the TV show). This is flawless.
I want more of these audio stories. Even if you can't use the Shadow due to copyrights, maybe you could go for some original content or recreations of lost public domain work. Probably asking s lot, but I don't really expect it to happen. It likely is easier said than done.
I know I'm coming to this 3 years too late, But as an longtime fan of The Shadow, I wanted to know where you can find these lost episode scripts and if you can still re-create them?
Nice but I had to downvote because there wasn't a wise Latina disparaging the Shadow's naked junk, and there were no scenes of the Shadow lecturing white schoolchildren on their privilege. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Just kidding! It was great! Liked the artwork too!
I'm guessing they didn't take too kindly to the arse-fucking you gave them over SJW Shadow, hence they went adter your video. But I'll say this again like last time anyway: thanks once again for allowing me to play Wallace Carter. I would love to reprise the role should he return. - Kyle
Was there ever a romance between Lamont and Margo? There were some hints in some of radio episodes I’ve listened to but I’m a dimwit to fully grasp it and possibly in the comics, specifically ‘Death of Margo Lane’
Yeah it's been alluded to in the radio shows, not too sure about the original pulps but in some continuations of the comics they definitely did have a thing going on.
I know this is an old upload. But I have to try. Me and some friends want to try re-creating lost Shadow episodes as well. But I can't seem to find the script for this and some other episodes. Surely some are lost as well, but where did you find the script for one? Was it reprinted somewhere?
RIP Ermer. Brilliant work Fist.

That is, quite honestly, the first time I have been on the edge of my seat in DECADES.
This is amazing work just like the original one. Really shows your dedication to the source material. Fantastic job!
RIP Emer.

Just found this, holy hell. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity. to be a part of this!!
Razor, your Shadow/Lamont Cranston voice just makes my spine tingle! You should go into voice work, hell, you've got the voice for it!
You know, it seems as though radio plays are a perfect fit for RUclips. I've been listening to this while cooking, and I can really see it catching back on again. Thanks Razor!

Oh gods I just stumbled across a complete list of the old radio shows and these were in the recommended section, love it. You should do more of these.
Ooh, where is this listing?
I use to listen to Groucho Marx's You bet your life, Peter Lorre's Black Cat & The Tell Tale Heart and The Shadow on cassette tapes, thanks for this (didnt have cable in Germany) Sent me right down memory lane!

Amazing work once again!. I loved the first one and this one is just as good. I'm sure Mr. Prevost would be proud of his contribution here, may he rest in peace.
Natey getting shot and the Shadow's following dry remark made me chuckle.
_"Excellent work, Limpy!"_

Such a sad start to hear, sounds like a good friend
A fitting send-off to a good friend. Thanks, and Happy Halloween!

Awesome job, this was even better than the last one!
This is like an old tiny radio show that I used to listen to when I was a lot younger except it’s cleaner great work my first real exposure story wise to the shadow as well
Yay! I just found this. I’ll be listening shortly
This is the better of the two you recreated, the plot is tighter and less reliable on a lack of police presence. I look forward to future recreations.
Excellent work as always!
I can’t thank you enough, Razor.
Excellent and entertaining recreation.
Thank you for the hard work.
I wish there had been more of these, very entertaining and well done.
I enjoyed the last one you did last year for halloween, keep it up man. You should do another from the comics
I was so hoping you'd do another this halloween; I'm saving it for tomorrow though
Wow, this was really cool! More entertaining than Hollywood films and you didn't even have a budget.
Please do another one of these someday, they’re so entertaining to listen to.
I love this so much ! I want to make a fan series of the radio show. This inspires me . Thank you
I don’t know why but I find it humorous the way Lamont pronounced the word “coupon.”
That was actually pretty damn good.

Wow, ads were as irritating in the 1930's as they are today. Thanks for the show.
Y'all need to do more
God I'd listen if you did a channel entirely dedicated to this sort of content
I kind of want this to be a regular thing now not a Halloween special.
These are grate keep them coming.

Emer Prevost is seven years younger than me. He passed away way to early.

You should really check out The Dark Mod. It's as thief as it gets in today's times.
I've been trying to tell him about it every chance i could. I'd like to see what he thinks of the project.
