Traxxas please listen to us, MAKE A NEW NITRO!!!!!! It would be so cool to see a new nitro product from you guys plus we need it in the rc hobby because all these electrics in the hobby get boring after awhile and dont get me wrong electric is plenty of fun I love my x maxx, but please do consider making a new nitro maybe like a 1/8 buggy or truggy or even a rustler 4x4 nitro!
I’m a Jato junkie but nitro is making a comeback, went to a local meet up and 2 guys had battery operated units and 8 had nitro, please Traxxas give us a new Nitro!
If you take it out atleast once every 2 weeks you don't need to do any of this crap, just run it all out of fuel, a properly tuned motor will have no problem with that.
This is manufacturers view on how to do it properly and not voiding warranty. Do you also clean your electric all the way after every drive? Do you inspect all the wirings that they are not torn, unsoldered? Also do you clean all the connectors? What about water? Do you inspect water damage and disassemble everything? Have you checked all the fans and their bearings so they work at full capacity. Do you always but batteries on storage charge immediately after every drive and you sit next to charger to be alerted if something goes wrong? Nobody does that... Usually I drop couple of drops of after run from the glow plug hole after a drive if i know i won't be driving in couple of days. Let it sink to the bottom and then rotate engine couple of seconds. Have not seen rust inside the engine.
Most of it isn't necessary, I got a nitro truck that sat, without running, for over 12 years with none of this. Fired right up after just a bit of cleaning and resetting the carb for factory settinga
Love the nitros keep Nitro alive I will always buy and favorite a nitro over any electric any day, Electric just has no thrill and is completely boring
you really only need 3 drops of after run oil in the carb and crank it over for 5 seconds, it works its way up. my O.S .21TM Tmaxx Classic runs good and i only do after run oil when i let it sit for a week or more
I use VP racing fuel and it says on the Steel Gas can. After run oil is not necessary. And i check inside and sure enough the cylinder is clean. I do clean the filter though.
Yes, you can use dirtbike oil. Actually its better. Have been using it for many years now, and nothing slips through. I have experienced that with regular rc airfilter oil. Its cheaper also, because you get more for less money in the end. At least in my country. I drive on extremely dusty clay tracks, and will not risk my pricy competition engines to suck dust and dirt.
@@traxxasrc10 the O.S MAX .21 TM has 2x to 3x more power then the 3.3 so i say the Trx 3.3 is like 3S power. Good enough for most things. OS Engine is key

Yeah you don't need to do this. This is "best practice", in other words not even close to necessary but still helps you understand how the motor needs to be lubricated and avoid rust. NITRO GANG
as a retired mechanic i enjoy my nitros engines and it gives some of us older folks something to work on still. long live nitro.
Glad to see a support video on nitro these days!
Well I have to say I have never used after run oil on any of my nitro buggy's and even 10yrs later still running like a champ
LOL😂 I was looking for this comment, I kept thinking to myself. “When did these… THINGS become THINGS??!”

I would also like to see them come out with a rally car 😁
There is plenty of buggies and truggies on the market. I would prefer something else. Something that traxxas is good at.
8th scale truggy or monster truck . Maybe a revo 5.0

As an electric vehicle user, this seems like a lot of work to maintain a vehicle. Respect to those who have to do this after playing!

After run oil is not necessary for a well maintained, frequently ran rc.
After run oil is a gimmick that's rarely needed.

About Time we see a Nitro Video Maintenance video. Going to get Traxxas Tmaxx 3.3 and Jato 3.3 which they showed here.
I really like the tmaxx 3.3 it does wheelies
I love these support videos

Exactly electric just boring
I like them as well. I save them to my channel.

Exactly. There's no need to be constantly using it every time you bring out your rc like a freak
Thank's For Sharing 💯👍
Thank you for sharing.
Nitro is the ultimate
What if I don’t have a easy start on my nitro car?? How would I get the after oil around the car ??
TIME FOR TRAXXAS TO RELEASE A NEW NITRO ON ROAD AND TRUGGY. SLEDGE NITRO AND A ON ROAD CAR.
Agreed
I could not agree more another nitro 4tec would be sick
A nitro xo1 with like 5 gear transmission is what im waiting for@@chargelead9429

Make a nitro buggy!
Nah they should make a nitro version of there trx4 crawler that would be great,im trying to make one myself but lots of work is needed
❤️
What loob for the mother is that
Can I use dirtbike filter oil?
might be too thick because the traxxas oil is fairly thin

that's a lot of work
Not really it’s fast once you know how to do it plus some of these steps you don’t have to do
Come out with a brand new nitro not based of anything just a brand new platform or just make a nitro rustler 4x4
Would love to see that take it to Rc track hell yeah 😎 maybe give us a .28 Size engine make it like O.S.
Why? Less power and more maintenance? No thank you

2nd

Best after run advise is to sell it and go electric.
Electric gets boring plus they look like toys. Not Nitros thought they have Aluminum chassis. And better parts
