It’s looking great and the MILS system makes it very flexible. The Shrimp Shack and Shrimp Boat at the docks would look really good - with some tables on the jetty for patrons to enjoy their dinner. 👍
Hallo, Marina = stage Minifigs; ready to go on a habor cruise or just returning; a Tourist sightseeing group; a free Concert performance; a scene with a minifigs till next doable building or plating gets done. I really love this 3 x 4 size area. I want to be there and hang out. The water movement is incredible . IRL been to Beaches in Florida, the Baltic Sea in Germany and the North Sea in The Netherlands, Brighton England and Germany. I miss the Seagulls :) Thank you, Carol
Wife: “Did he just say Mr.Bookieboo?” Me: Yes, Mr. Bookieboo is awesome, we don’t make fun of Mr. Bookieboo LOL. Love what you are doing, keep ‘em coming!
Awesome beach a a great explanation! Maybe the river at the bottom of the waterfall should run more directly into the sea as it would naturally down the slope - perhaps into the marina (lots of marinas are built in river exits to the sea). You could maybe have a nice bridge over the river. It would give you a bit more space for the marina building as well. It's a small detail but most marinas have floating pontoons so that when the tide comes in they don't get flooded (it looks like your city has a large tidal range if you need that height of pier) (or maybe you don't need that height of pier).
Love the fishing pier. I don't even own the Fishing Store but might purchase one just to make one! The only fault I can see with your design is their are no sharks swimming with the swimmers. Every Lego water scene needs a shark or two..... Great touch adding the wave with the surfer.
This looks great! Must have taken a lot of time, but I love how you have the cheese vedges against rocks and poles to create the effect of the water breaking against them. Also very smart with the clear round pieces against the beach. Lots of great tips and tricks here for us who haven't found a good solution for our beach and water areas yet. Thanks for going in to such detail.
I'm new to your channel but man, holy cow this is such a cool scene! Love the waterline and the water effects you achieved with cheese slopes. A thought I had for the marina area would be possibly a souvenir shop? For those out of towners lol
Great video, some very interesting techniques to mull over for my own city. The Hidden Side Shrimp Shack is a great set: excellent colors, stickers, minifigures & you can MOD it to be either bigger or smaller. I would like to see a more in depth video on Ninjago canals next
if i want to have more beach space, i would use the space behind the shop, by pushing the shop back to add more water or sand about the pier i would extend it + add stairs in the middle of it just like the stairs links the city
Hallo, great beach scene. Also very good explanation on how to + why to build on indivituel exchangeble baseplates of same size. 3 x 4 big baseplates, for you a small area, however also endless possibilities if limited to that size. ... If you can, add Seagulls. A must when there is Water, Fish and gullible people with food in their hand. ... Thank you, Carol
@@MrBookieboo 😂 joke aside I was waiting for it hehe, your city is one of the most inspiring :) (I was following the evolution of the city through Instagram but still)
The hidden side fishing boat would look amazing at the docks!
That’s what I’m thinking 🤔
I have to agree. I got both and it's a killer combo!

Yes! I definitely need to add some tables and chairs 🙂
Great work! I really love how you did the water using transparent blue pieces to be more realistic!
Thank you very much!
Amazing park with river running through it. Great work!
Thank you!
Gold standard for LEGO cities my friend! Skoal from @JDbrickcity
Thank you very much!

Thank you so much! I’m glad you found it helpful
looks like you put a lot of thought into making the beach area. looks good!
Thank you very much! I tend to overthink and plan a little too much but it seems to work out in the end.

Thank you for the feedback! Ninjago is a great idea 🙂
Love it! Thanks for showing us how you did the levels for the water, really great.
I’m glad you liked it! Thank you 🙂

Thank you for the feedback 😃
You could have a the old mining dude minifig panning for gold in the creek
Great idea!
You could use the cave like to be a mini batcave
Awesome beach! You could put the lego cave man and woman in the cave.
That’s a good idea!
Maybe add a big troll figure from the fantasy era sets, it would be something different for the cave by the water fall
Good idea!
You should make the river water go into the ocean! And you said shops- you know the ninjago LEGO arcades they make great little shops!
You should definitely put golem in your cave! (By the way love your videos)
Thank you so much!
Just incredibly awesome! Hang a few Lego bats inside the cave part # 30103
Thank you and great idea!
This is totally epic!!
Yayyy finally a new city update!
Oo nvm I didnt see one was posted a week ago haha
That’s ok, two for one 😂

What kind of plates or tiles do you use for all of the water?
I use 1x2 trans light blue tiles and a few trans cheese wedges for waves. Lots and lots of tiles 😬
you should have speeders going through the streets past mos eisly
That’s a fantastic idea!
