Very cool!! I’ve also found that adding some (p/n 22388) Quadruple Convex Pyramid pieces adds some texture as well. Not a cheap undertaking … but very gratifying to see the result!

2:07 do you mean stagger the trans plates?
And if so, how would staggering the plates have a depth effect since you’ve still got the same plane/level of studs that will be covered with tiles?!
I’ve watched 12x trying to understand this 🤣🤪

This looks awesome, but any advice on how to add waves, or those waves that would come onto the beach… nothing like Hawaii’s north shore, but the gentle kinds? Would you add more and more layers or build up solids underneath and maintain the two/three level transparent bricks on top of it… maybe I’m asking too much… thanks for anything you can add or give your perspective on… thank you for all these wonderful videos… very inspiring.

All of my transparent 2×1 tiles and plates (with all my colors) could probably fit in the clear bin you used for your transparent tiles.
And I've never been able to get any Pick-a-Bricks cups.

Nice! Just found your channel. Glad you are showing this because I am needing to do this for my Batcave. I am planning on using the bark blue and dark bluish gray plates for the bottom layer and will probably go with the trans clear for the second and third layers. I don't want it to look all beachy in the batcave lol. I am curious, did you get these parts mostly from Bricklink bulk purchases?

The water has a good illusion of depth, but there's not really any illusion of movement. I would like to see more effects on the surface.
