Where The Diner And The Corner Garage Is, I Think You Should Tile All Between The Two Rows Of Buildings And Make A Alley Way, With Broken Glass, Trash, Graffiti Etc!
I think it’s interesting that you have placed your police station on the edge of your city. But I do think it needs a small car park for either/both squad car(s) and public. Potentially the illusion of an underground car park? Maybe a little area for them to train their dogs?
I really like the idea of the park in the middle of your city with the narrower road part way round. Will be following to see what you place in there. As a suggestion or two, with the odd bit out (plating) you could have a memorial statue and entrance by the pedestrian crossings. Then a winding path that leads out to the main road with a pergola/bandstand somewhere with the balance of the green area gardened and “grassed” etc. Honestly your progress is really awesome. I really appreciate that you are not against taking one step back to progress either.
I like the Town Hall where it is now, prominently located in that square area. Personally I am in favour of this plan of yours work "left to right" As much as I like and understand your plans for the whole city eventually. I think it would be better to 'finish' areas as you go along. The Sesame street rebrickable moc looks great! Maybe if you still find it a bit short, add a scene on the roof like the CMF Beekeeper and some beehives to add some interest rather than height?

just my opinion i would push the modulars and downtown sort of area back and then the town hall would be fine then you could put what you were going to put behind infront instead, as always great video love the city and keep brick'n it
Love the town square where you can add maybe a market, car park or statue etc. Maybe create a statue of yourself and Mrs Brick’n It as founder members of ye olde town 😃 I was thinking you could raise the far dark corner, add some steps up a hill side and build a castle facade as a reminder of the olde town. There you go I’m letting you into an idea I have for my city 😉
Yeah definitely need to have a think about the park, the statue sounds fun although a little self-indulgent 😂 a castle would be very cool, reminiscent of all the UK towns with castles, although we don't actually have any castle sets atm!

Nice update. My city got a big progress update this week with my shop at home order comming yesterday I broke right into the 3 road packs I had bought so my cities roads are all finished now. Only thing that remains is building assembly suare.
looks awesome and i also use these connectors. They are really very practical. Just a little correction: I dont think they are magnetic, they are electric, if they would function with magnetic fields they would need to be transformer. In this case they would be really wireless. Also in the air.

Any chance of a short video of the Sesame Street remoc? The teal building next to the diner, could possibly use some space between them. The teal color almost makes them look like a single structure. The Assembly Square remoc looks absolutely fantastic. It flows really well into the original Assembly Square. Your city layout is cool. I like how you are maximizing the space available, nothing wasted. IMO, the Horizon Express would look perfect in your city. It’s my favorite train and just want to see it everywhere. Damn, this is a long message, my bad.
Looks great! The town hall does look good there. Long as some other cool builds close off that little cul-de-sac town square. All greenery in the middle with a paved walkway leading from town hall to some cool custom central fountain.
Really looking great! The part of the city where Assembly Square is, have you considered maybe a BTTF Clocktower MOC? The square park -like area in front of this makes me think of that right away, especially with the american style diner 😎👍🏻
That remoc of Sesame street came out awesome and in my opinion it fits like a charm between the two bookshop buildings. =) The lightning is really neat, you're almost giving me future ideas for my HP sets tbh!
Looking really great! I think it could look really cool if you rebuilt the diner mirrored and then havethe ‘front’ face the same side as the corner garage. It would blend the garage and the diner and also let you have and alleyway for the teal house to get around to their backyard.
Another great update, I like the sesame street moc and that you’ve moved townhall, I think it’ll look a lot better when moved across to other table, also I kinda like roads without 2x4 tiles in as look like old damage English roads (not suggesting you don’t put tiles in though)
Lol that would be a road in very bad condition with all the missing plates atm! I should leave some spaces for manhole covers though as I'll end up just tiling if I'm not careful

I really like the sesame st rebuild, I think it fits fine. Gives a nice change in height and looks like an older building.
You could put Diagon Alley behind your townhall and cinema.
