I’ve found it in our local LEGO shop, it was behind the counter along with other older sets that remained in their stock...fair price too, it is a birthday 🎁 for one of the boys...it will find a place in our Legomäki street and when I will have the permission from the boys, I will reMoC it. Beautiful MoC there...as usual...😉
I rather liked that green color for the newsstand. It works especially well next to the tan base of the deli.....Props for putting little storlyine in the video, too.
The end of the year!?!?!? That is still so long!!! I’m already waiting for a city video for two months, one week, five days, tree hours and 12 seconds... 😜
Hey JC, can you please some times in the future make a video to provide your advice about how to make good quality/professional pictures for Lego sets ? I think there are some techniques to know like lighting, camera focus, background etc. to make the Lego pictures beautiful. Thanks!
These two buildings sit so well together on their half baseplate. Great improvement to the deli and a lovely new MOC with the newsstand. I like the contrast in colours - and of course the whole story with the shady lawyer! Your city clearly needs to get dome better cops 😂 As usual, I'm again amazed by the amount of detail you manage yo pack into such a small space. 👏👏👏
JC, this is great and fun to see your modification of this set, I have one and not thrilled with it but see the potential that this may be what I'm looking for! the original design is not bad but this looks so much more complete! great build! you have so many wonderful design tips! thanks for giving us so much inspiration! LOL, definitely a shady guy! LOL oh, no! the crook is hiding in the cupboard! wow, such a shady lawyer! Very nice interior in the Corner Deli, your detailed touch is very evident! It's great how the newstand has the stairs going up to the office and the attic space for the deli is a great idea, too! nice dining area and outside balcony area! I do love that original Sign, too! Fantastic Re-Build! awesome job as always! -Vickie
Thanks Vickie! The Corner Deli was always may fav build from that year. The colours work and the proportion is right. It is just the size of the original that is too small. So, I think it is "perfect" for now!.
The corner deli is one of the creator sets that I wish I could get! I hope the policeofficers catach the jewel thief :-D I really like the interior in the deli and convinience store! Really nice - a lot of wonderful details! Great! It's so awesome you are reaching 3,000 soon - so cool to see you succeed! Keep it up :-)
It always amazes me how much details and stuff you manage to put into such a small space while still keeping everything in a logical layout. Wonderful build. From the color, it seems more to me like that shady lawyer is drinking absinthe! =P Got to love the suspect hiding in the cabinet like a cheating spouse XD I think it would be good if you showed the original set you remoc`d from in the video as well as a comparison. Oh, and congratulations on 3000 subscribers! What a milestone!
@@gab_v250 I still like the Small Brick Town Project and will likely build new MOCs in future for that. But for now, yes, I am on a roll with upgrading them to half modulars :)
It is too complex for a video tutorial but I will make instructions in the future that will be available at smallbrickcity.com . Currently, we have a backlog of instructions that are being created so it will be in a month or two. Thanks for asking.
The law actually states that people can be guilty but so long as they can 'prove' that there not guilty they aren't it is a lawyers job to defend enyone in the eyes of the law ( in the U.K. And America ). Nice build and story line though
The little story behind the build is my favourite!
Wow finally a creator to modular moc that doesn't look exaggerated or duplicated

Thanks! Glad you liked the overall MOC. I think it turned out well for the reasons you mentioned too ;)
Looks awesome! I think it is about time we see how all these cool builds come together in your city!
Thanks. I still have a few more, then will do a city update at the end of the year.

@@cBricksTutorials hahaha GOOD one!
It's always amazing how much detail you put in all your builds
Thanks so much!
Nice remoc
I like the green side totally helps with the over all look
Thanks!
Nice ReMOC! I liked the little story behind the build :)
Thank you!

Hi, you are asking about photos and not video right? As the techniques will be different.
@@SmallBrickCity Yes, about photos, making professional videos on Lego sets is a whole other story :)
Ok. I will put something together. Although there are probably a 1000 people more qualified than me :-D
I did highlight some key points here before too: ruclips.net/video/s7rnWcvSwF4/видео.html

Yikes, the start of my comment was basically the same as yours. =O I should read through the other comments first before making mine. =P
legolamaniac ha ha. I’ve done that before. Quickly have to do an edit! 🤣
So nice build and I love the story in your MOC.
Thanks so much! The shady lawyer is cool :-D
I have the corner deli, it’s not a bad set, but I like your modular form of the set. Also, the newspaper building is nicely colored! Nice job!
Thank you!

Looks great! It really looks like a complete build, it looks taller which is great! And also 9 more subs to go! You will have 3000 subs..
Thanks! yes, the overall building is larger in all directions. Thanks in advance for 3k subs.
Very good build, once again with great interiors. Keep going man! ;)
Thank you!
Awesome. You removed the little apartment complex of the corner deli.

Good One! Not my favourite, but creative nonetheless!! Thanks for sharing and keep them coming!!!
Thank you! ;)
Awesome video
Thank you!
Cool
Thanks!
Nice! I've got a question though: why didn't you put technic bricks at the base of your modular MOCs to connect them to official Lego modulars?
I haven't really felt the need to. I do a lot of shifting and moving of my builds so it would be more inconvenient if they were connected together.
@@SmallBrickCity that's a good point. So the question is: will you replace the Small Brick Town project with this "Half-Modular Town" project?
@@gab_v250 I still like the Small Brick Town Project and will likely build new MOCs in future for that. But for now, yes, I am on a roll with upgrading them to half modulars :)
Can you remoc the lego simsons house
There is not too much to reMOC for that build unless to make it modular-layered style.
Where I find the instructions? It’s not in your shop!
Sorry! This was a free-flow build and design. There are no instructions.
@@SmallBrickCity ah thats sad :( thanks for your reply tho.
Can you make a tutorial

I built the Sam thing
