Adorable! I love your little details and stories. The toy shop owner had to visit the psychiatrist because once he discovered Lego, he had no interest in any other toy, so all his stock stayed on the shelves. Hence the old style computer.
Awesome video. Love how the workshop turned out. I reckon that the toy maker was cursed by competition, and got turned into the spider so he couldn't sell his world famous toys
I didn’t think it could really be done, but you’ve inspired me to start my own LEGO city. I also live in small places due to the fact I’m in the Army. Before all I’ve done is had sets displayed on a shelf. I love the psychiatrist office that’s gotta be my favorite part of the build
Awesome!!!! I absolutely love it! I love the depth of the build and how you disguised the elevator! My favorite is probably this one or the butcher shop!
Really nice camera shop moc. I really like all the mini modulars together but I can't wait to see them all integrated into the city. For the toy maker to have sold his products online, he was good at typing on an upside down keyboard. I doubted that these modular would be good when you started but you have definitely proven me wrong. They are super detailed and not cluttered, I thought they would have been cluttered. Did you see the Jurassic World set images? There are 2 popcorn cup prints in a $20 set, which I'm so glad about, because I can get that print which I really like and its a decent set.😄
Absolutey awesome build. If you had the room you could build a photo studio where people can get there passport picture. Maybe the owner of the camera store can take it over. May ask you what size of plates do use for your camera store and the others and how high are the walls for each floor. I don't have a favorite because I think there all great.
The slot for the gas valve looks like a gas pipe leading up to each floor with a little imagination. :) Maybe add a black technic pipe the valve for the elevator can ride up and down and tada a big brain move and finishes the look.
That is looking great. Reminds me of the camera store Bevins Bricks made. =) Very nice camera accessories and equipment. The big 3D Camera sign is quite nice but looks a little weird to me, especially with that big dome as the lens. I think a 2x2 transparent round plate with rounded bottom would make for a better lens. Also instead of the 4x4 circle plate you could use 4 pieces of 2x2 macaroni plates for a more smoother look. Got to cover up those studs! I'll post an example on Instagram. =)
Thanks so much! That is very kind of you. Yes, instructions for all four mini modulars are available at: smallbrickcity.com/product-category/lego-instructions/lego-buildings/
Really like your tiny modular builds. Did you think of sending it in at Lego ideas? Would buy the sets immediately! It's a great idea to make modulars more entry-level for smaller budgets.
Thanks. I don't think it will do well on ideas as that seems to work for a certain style of builds. But I am doing building instructions and parts lists for all four of my tiny modulars that will be available next month. Thanks!
Great. Thanks for linking (and making) this video. While I'm working on SF 8x16 interiors that are meant to be looked in from the side this is super helpful to see it's not an impossible task :) Will check other three for sure. If I'm correct your height of interior is ~8 bricks? Is that your standard height? I'm a rookie - is it common among city buildiers or something you came up with?
Thanks for your comment and I am glad the vid was useful. I don't think there is a standard although 8 bricks high is fairly common. Usually, I build 7 bricks high plus 2 plates and tiles which turns out to be 8 bricks high. But there really is no standard. However for smaller builds say 1/2 expert modular size or smaller, 8 bricks high is a good proportion to go by. Check out my playlists for various building guides and tutorials.
This is my favorite tiny modular building that you made! Nice choice of colors! The build kind of reminds me about the brick bank.. I dont know why.. But anyways,, GREAT build! Can't wait to see more!
I will definitely take your advice and spend more money on LEGO rather than wasting it on a shrink! The camera shop is the sort of place my sigfig would like to hang out, when she's not at pastry school 😉
Brickmund Freud inspired me to think up some Lego names for other famous people from that era: Werner Heisenbrick Ernst Schröbricker Albrick Einstein Lise Brickner Greeblie Curie Walter Brickjamin Studfan Zweig Elias Vignetti Max Brickheimer & Theodor W. Studorno
how about if i spent too much time watching lego builds on youtube and "window-shopping" for lego bricks on shopping/marketplace websites even if I know I can't afford a lego set (or the bits and pieces I need to build my first piece of 8x8 room/shop for a modular building)... does that mean I also need to visit the psych guy on the third floor? hahahaha
i likes this a lot and gave me cool ideas for my camera shop
So cool
Like the idea of quarter-size modular buildings very much! Maybe the toy maker is now in the sugar business?
Now you have 4 modulars in a space of one!
Amazing what you can cram in , into such a small space, the shrink bit was funny 😂
butchery and camera shop :) they are all great.
Thanks for the detail review. My minifigures have a place to shop camera now :P
These will look awesome slotted between the regular modulars. Great job!
Thanks a lot!
Cool looking new build.
Perfect. Its incredible what is possible to do with 6 studs wide
Thank you!
Adorable!

Haha nice!

That sounds like a good theory. Not sure who is his competition though. The only other toy shop in town is LEGO. 🤔
You should to a tutorial of how to make signs like the camera book sign etc
Awesome MOC! I really like the interior of the camera store!
Cool video
Thanks!

Cool! Thanks! I think you will love my next video where I show how to build a minifig-scale brick city with very little space.
Really liked the camera store. Inspired me to go create one for my city!
Cool! Thanks!
Awesome!!!! I absolutely love it! I love the depth of the build and how you disguised the elevator! My favorite is probably this one or the butcher shop!
Thanks for the kind words!
It's absolutely amazing!
Wish there we're more they are all amazing
Thanks!
JC I would investigate the butcher! I think his recent works reducing the size of the butcher shop are linked to the toy shop owner disappearance 😎
I like your thinking ;)
I was going to suggest that too, but I thought you would think I was too twisted 😅😅
Those are great builds! Awesome! We’re very impressed! 👍🏼😀❤️

This combination could actually be 2 sets or a whole set!

Love this dude! Quite inspiring and you've given me some great ideas, thank you.

Best one my fav from all of them

Have you ever heard of the letter "r"??😂😂 Nice builds tough 🔥🔥
Is it possible to purchase the instructions for these builds? I love this so much!!!
Thanks so much! That is very kind of you. Yes, instructions for all four mini modulars are available at: smallbrickcity.com/product-category/lego-instructions/lego-buildings/
I love them all😍
Thanks a lot!

Great information and knowledge. Love the “ spend money on LEGO not on a psychiatrist “ lol
Haha Glad you liked it. Thank you!

I thought your SigFig is always at the LEGO store??

I like the bookshop most.
thanks a lot!
They should make instructions, I’d buy that for a dollar.
Full instructions available at smallbrickcity.com/shop... but not for a dollar.
I think this poor toy maker is no longer with us :(
Imagine a camera shop without security "cameras"

Yes.
Hahaha! I just got at the end of the video, and you advised it's better to spend money on Lego than pay for a psychologist. haha.
@@SmallBrickCity Also, why doesn't this building have a toilet this time? Lol
@@TheEthanllemit cos there is just no space. That another reason to see the shrink.
Do you have recommendations to find neutral color lego bricks?
where do you get your bricks from
Mainly from sets, Pick a Brick Wall and Bricklink.
But do they still sell Kodak film tho???
Haha.., yes.
The toy shop owner is on a vacation to Tahiti. He is enjoying all the bikini clad ladies
Is it possible that the missing toy maker was taken by the evil scientist from your hospital.
Very possible :-D
Twix
Mars
Snickers
