In this episode we address how I'm going to try to stay cool while camping in the TEXAS HEAT, it crept up on me sooner then I thought. I had to post-pone my original camp dates when I rolled my ankle, now winter came to a rapid end and spring came and went within the same week resulting in a heat wave across central and south Texas. This temporary fix was made of scraps from different projects and an old window as unit. hope this help spark an idea to stay cool in the summer, thanks for watching

I love the fact you are just using what you have before investing in a newer unit.

For solar, a ac with a "soft start" compressor is crucial. Not many have that feature ,but the ones that do are same price. I learned that from HOBOTECH's channel. See his videos on air conditioning. edit My bad, for a small generator not solar.

I'm in Texas too and the heat is just too much. Will you get a 1000w solar battery and 200w panel? I'm thinking of doing something similar.
