- 5 Tips & Tricks To Help You Beat The Summer Heat 🔷🔷🔷 When it comes to enjoying summertime weather, we're often divided into two camps. There are those who can't wait to see the temperatures rise into the 90s, while others break into a sweat just at the thought of it. We're all agreed on one thing though - summer is the time to dress lightly and stick to the shade when the weather gets ferociously hot. Yet sometimes even that's not enough. So to make the summer heat somewhat more bearable, we've come up with the 5 following tips for you.

1. Muggy Nights
Yep, we've all felt like zombies the next day after experiencing yet another sleepless night in the middle of summer. However, there's a rather easy trick to bring some coolness back to your bed. Simply place a cold pack from the freezer under your pillow and your head should remain nice and cool while you sleep.
2. DIY Cooling Unit
If your fan isn't doing the trick, here's a clever way to make your own DIY cooling unit.
You'll Need:
- fan
- lighter
- screwdriver
- 2 plastic bottles
- box cutter
- wire
- ice cubes
Here's How:
2.1 Use a lighter to heat up the end of a screwdriver and make holes in the bottom half of both plastic bottles.
2.2 Cut away the bottom end of the bottles using a box cutter.
2.3 Use wire to attach both bottles to the fan with the cap facing downward.
2.4 Fill both bottles with ice cubes and switch the fan on. You'll quickly feel that the air is much cooler. Once the ice cubes have melted, simply drain the water away using the cap and add new ones.
3. Homemade Sprinkler
If you have a garden, this is the perfect trick to beat the summer heat. Kids and pets will also love this one!
You'll Need:
- plastic bottle
- drill
- electrical tape
- garden hose
Here's How:
3.1 Use a drill or, as in trick #2, a hot screwdriver to make several holes in a plastic bottle.
3.2 Remove the bottle cap and insert a garden hose into the opening. Seal the opening with some electrical tape and turn on the water.
4. Chill Drinks Fast
Nothing is more refreshing on warm days than a cold drink. If you want the bottle to cool down more quickly, simply wrap a few damp sheets of kitchen roll around it. Place the bottle in the freezer and your drink will be cool in no time.
5. Sweltering Cars
Cars heat up extremely quickly in the sun. Before driving, you'll need to ventilate it properly. First, wind down all of the windows. Next, open the driver's door and waft fresh air into the interior. The draft should cool the car down quickly and you're ready to go.
Now you're ready to take on the summer heat with these 5 nifty tricks. Just remember to drink enough fluids and dress as lightly as you can during those particularly hot days. Have a great summer!

For the guys who can't afford more than a fan i have a simple trick thay will turn your hot nights into cool nights.
All you have to do is just take a thin blanket, soak it in water to make it wet and then take that blanket over your body. Now, the fan air will make you feel cool for a long time till the blanket dries completely.
I use this trick too bcz I don't have AC in my room.

Ice cubes is nice behind fans but you know Water and electricity aren't friends right? Just wake up to blown up fan.
Open the windows at night, best with a mesh anti-mosquitoes
It’s 115 degrees you really think that’s gonna help at all
Doesnt help when it's 90 outside
what if it’s almost 100 degrees?
What can be done in this situation@@alexismorales6206
that dog sure likes the sprinkler system. what a cutie :3
It's far better to place ice cubes in front of the fan then behind it, because the fan blows air that's in front of it, but sucks air from behind AND ALL SIDES (top and bottom too).
I think the both techniques have pros and cons for example when you place bottles in front, the air will look for the easiest way to go, so most of the air will end up flowing near bottles but not through them.
3:06 wait a minute. I thought the car door was too hot. Now he’s fully grasping onto it 😑

Bravo! And if you're ever stuck in the shadowless sand dunes of the Sahara dig deep and cool, else head approx 1500 m into cool 25 degree weather and shades and some water up Emi koussi or Bikki Bittu.
And Emi koussi is deeper South in the Sahara not up Cool Coastal Mediterranean North.

We use Bori (idk what to say in English) wet it with cold hand pump water or directly from Mangra/Dhara because it's cold water directly from mountain and then wrap it around water bottle to be cold.
Very clever ❤
Did any one actually tried that ice fan stuff?? I don't think it will work as ice melts so fast especially in the summers here at India 🥵

It's so hot here . I just put cold ass water on my bed that maybe it will help but bro I just sat and it was already dried
For years I have been practicing this but using my own technique. I close my eyes and relax. Picture yourself in the coldest memory of your life. Take your fingers from both hands and slowly touch your skin on your stomach, up and down while still remembering how cold you felt. Spray some water on your arms legs and belly while continuing to keep your mind in that cold place. Practice. Then when you start feeling goosebumps still keep practicing. After you have done this a few times now work on stopping the goosebumps with heat. Picture yourself in the hottest memory of your life, mine is the desert. By doing this over and over you will be able to give yourself goosebumps then make them stop immediately with out the use of the spray bottle. After practicing this for so long I am now able to make myself get goosebumps then immediately stopping the chills and doing it all over again. Mind over matter the power of the mind is very interesting.
I'm so grateful for this tips
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
@@Peace-qd4gu you are very welcome. I will be doing this for the next 3 weeks when we won't have air conditioning.

These days i sleep on the floor on a mat with table fan kept at floor level with three vessels full of ice. I am able to sleep 7-7.5 hours on most days. Don't switch on ceiling fan. Keep windows open and keep all exhaust fans on through out the night. 🙏
in myanmar too hot and government cut off electricity 24/20 hrs. so i think i need more tips how to survive that situation.

Just put it inside of the pillow
What was the thing used?
Just yeet it in the fridge
We have a taste for 60's looks
now the fan blows mist which is wet on his papers, COOL idea
Ice cubes melt completely in 10 minutes. Adding salt just makes it melt longer. so add more salt?

Even in my place it's scorching heat and hot wave that I started staying under water whole day n night keeping my head out of it.

The first one would just make your bed soggy
heres a tip, if you have a faulty air conditioner or a broken one but still have vents then just put a fan on the vent to suck the cooler than ambient air out of the vents!
it only takes 5 minutes....thats what the youtube ad claimed....

Does the ice fan works?
I tried myself but I barely felt any difference maybe my fan is small who knows….
1:17 is the most tatt! idea. I have tried this. Does NOT work at all. don't your time on this.
Nothing helps in extreme humid temperature except AC. Hope tip with stand fan helps but my guess is ice will melt in max 20 min in my city. I have to try.
@ULIKS GASHI I didn't try.
@ULIKS GASHI i tried, didnt work. same temperature air like without ice
Who are watching this from Assam? 😂😂

Squirrel fan
Does the “Ice Fan” actually work?
Mmm yes , it's a little dangerous if the water exit from the holes and go into the Fan ( water and electricity are not friend )
Its 46°c in my city 😢
India 😂🥲

What's up with this guy hating on ACs? If it's hot as hell don't use a stupid fan and sleep with the AC on.
Get some oven gloves for the car
A wet pillow doesn't
No wifi no electrity verry hot day i cant
I tried this and it didn’t work, just made a mess when the ice melted.
Gotta put ice in front of the fan, not behind it
@@mimoosa7390 I tried filling half a bowl with ice infront of my fan ... it melted very fast and it didnt work ... I dont know the reason perhaps it's because I only filled half ... it's a fail for me
I have none of that stuff. I’m just gonna do it the black way. Run around in your room with the ac on
Running around heats you up
What do u mean black way? Running around your room will just heat u up genius
Good but no car
I thought you had to put the ice infront of the fan
