This game will always remain in my memory. Was at this boss fight with no remaining lives, dealt the final blow with 1 heart remaining. I was giving high-fives to my dad and sister. Then Jafar came back up and bit me. I thought I had lost and got a game over. I was literally almost in tears, and then the cutscene came up. Biggest tease I've experienced in a game.
I think this is literally the first game ive ever played in my life. I think its either this or yoshi's island for snes, of course. I couldnt even talk and i was already playing games lol. Still have snes kept well safe
More than 20 years later I discovered today this last attack of the snake is a reference to the Bible Genesis 3:14 and 3:15. The serpent will be crushed on its head, but on its last breath of life it will bite his heel.
Is that actually true? Cause that's pretty deep for a more kid centric snes game based on a movie that wasn't religious save for the occasional "Allah" reference
@@two-scarredmask89 Right? There's a RUclips channel called Bible Project, in it, there's a playlist about the whole bible, following the order of the books. During the beginning, they repeat a lot this idea of "he will crush the snake, but at the last breath of life, the snake will bite his heel". At some point it clicked to me. I've played this game a lot. Then I remembered about this last scene. For me, it is too much for it to be just a coincidence. There's no reason for the snake to do it in the game, afaik. Anyway, I'm almost convinced, and I think that's cool. But I don't know if that's actually true.
I don't know about you guys, but I loved playing this game when I was little! I used get scared to have to beat Jafar as the snake, but now I look at it differently.
i wonder if this was released in the mid 90's it had the same sound designer from demon's crest and mega man x music capcom and nintendo had an awesome legacy of fun Disney games
@welcomemeonly - Yeah, most of the old childhood games I used to play scared me a lot. Don't know why. Now, I'm like, "I used to be scared of that?" Btw, Mario games were the hardest to beat too when I was little also. Bowser was really scary!
Indeed? Have you ever seen the final boss in the Genesis Aladdin game? This feels like an actual final boss. The Genesis Final Boss is a complete joke compared to this.
But seriously this game is not bad. I prefer the Genesis one but there's still a thing I liked in the SNES better than the Genesis. I loved the cut scenes of this one, the Genesis cutscenes were sporadic and felt samey. In this one they are like watching the movie. If the SNES version had more songs from the film and had the same digicell sprites as the Genesis one it might be the most faithfull representation of the movie Aladdin.
The Genesis would have been perfect except for the last boss fight with Jafar. It was lame compared to this one. Too bad about the slowdown in this one. I'm going to stick to playing my own Aladdin in my head while I'm on crack.
A very mediocre game? With animated cutscenes directly from the movie, expandable health, a gem collection sidequest, acrobatic platforming and gliding, creative level design, beautiful backgrounds, excellent levels, and a pretty epic final boss? Oh, and multiple endings. I think not.
Being perfect is good when you want to show off, seeing how long it takes you to beat the game and WITHOUT cheats. At the same time, being perfect ruins the thrill of seeing how the player can win. Sometimes its just best to fail and upload it. It shows you are human lol

I thought i died too lol
So beautiful game. Beautiful colors and sounds. Watch the carpet stages. A perfect game for a kid
Wow I remember this game being much more animated when I was little.
Takes me back I got this game for Christmas when I was 8 I used to love this game. I remember feeling like king of the world once I beat it.
That final boss music belongs up in a top 10 list of epic final boss themes!
Too bad the battle itself is so repetitive.
I remember this battle scaring the crap outta me, and being so difficult for little Ole me.
I remember I was 6 years old and I played this while in a Hospital with other kids... idk why I was there, but this game brings back that memory.

2:24 The first time I ever played this at that part I thought I died. 🤣
I can’t believe I beat this game as a kid. I loved it! So much nostalgia.
I don't know about you guys, but I loved playing this game when I was little! I used get scared to have to beat Jafar as the snake, but now I look at it differently.
I used to love this game when I was 9 I remember beating it finally I was so happy
this part used to scare the shit out of me
especially 2:21
same
Look at jafar spinning around 3:24
Mi infancia, me gustó volver a ver el juego después de mucho tiempo 😭
By wishing becoming an all-powerful genie, jafar got trapped inside a lamp with iago forever.
i wonder if this was released in the mid 90's it had the same sound designer from demon's crest and mega man x music capcom and nintendo had an awesome legacy of fun Disney games
It was. Capcom made a lot of Disney games, most people remember Ducktales and Rescue Rangers.
you do know that when Jafar makes the snake platform your on go up and down into the fire you can use that to jump on his head just saying
The boss theme was a bop
I thing was dead sure in 90,s a happy ending....❤️❤️👍👍👍😊😊😊
Dont touch, ITS ART!!!!
You're right... I have the Megadrive version and it rocks!
0:27 tá tá tá tá tá ta ta taaaaaaaaa
my favrtet game of all time
This boss scared me shitless as a child.
The Genesis' Final Boss is mediocre compared to SNES' Final Boss. Period.
agree. but the Abo bonus stages on Genesis are EPIC!!
Hello. I suscribe your channel. Like

Why did they change the final fight in the 2019 remake? This version was so much better than the fight in Nighthawk Interactives version
There was a yugioh game that had a jafar like villain named heishin
Alladin is a plumber in this, but without a moustache and not in green overalls, not even red or yellow
Great game
Steven Bell Using Hadouken
Look at that slowdown. Just another reason why Genesis does what Nintendon't! ;)
Indeed? Have you ever seen the final boss in the Genesis Aladdin game? This feels like an actual final boss. The Genesis Final Boss is a complete joke compared to this.
So, you can win JUST STANDING IN THE SAME SPOT!?
Wow.
Te lo resumo así nomas
My fucking childhood!!!
Wished this would of been in Kingdom Hearts 1.

0:55 - ouch!
Te lo resumo asi no mas *-*
on my memories this was more difficult 😂
Epic!
Jafar was probably poisonous or venomous. As a snake that is.
He is a cobra. Cobras have venom, it's not shown neither on screen, nor in game.
Is jafar the guy or the snake
Snake
Im a snake
This game sure was good but as you said, the movie is much better
@kagome13234 Yeah, when I was like 3, and I was playing Mario Party, I used to ge scared when I (my dad @ the time) landed on a Bowser space!
The Genesis would have been perfect except for the last boss fight with Jafar. It was lame compared to this one. Too bad about the slowdown in this one. I'm going to stick to playing my own Aladdin in my head while I'm on crack.
Muito massa em👏👏👏
Clássico 🙌
Almost this boss is WAY harder then the Genesis boss... no jokes...

This boss is very easy
Yeah. I remember I beat whole levels SNES version of this game since I was always like Aladdin when I was 10 year old during 2004
Genesis version > SNES version
Snes Jafar Boss >>>> Genesis Jafar Boss.

The game is really good!! the only mediocre in this is your gameplay!

the movie sure was good, but as both of you fail to say, the game was much better
Yea i know. You were scared. So was i.
Then you killed the snek with 8 jumps.
