This is one of those songs.
This is what happened to me. I was scrolling through songs and played less than 20 seconds of "Miles Away" and had to listen to more.
I'm doing "research" through the line up of a festival to listen to bands I've not heard before and go and see them live when the day comes... and this is exactly what happened to me. I'm not missing these three next month, what an energy!

her way of singing may sound like she's pushing too much but that's the hook right there! the sheer emotion...you can soak your soul in it!

@@realdocloco i read that it was hard for them to get their stuff recorded in Belgium cause it was expensive, so its nice that they found an outlet, she is a great drummer, and her voice reminds me of Sarah Bettens from K' Choice.
The way she sings the lyrics, each line ending with a lingering craving to hear more - it's amazzing. I have never heard anything like it before. Got me hooked instantly.
It’s hard to convey the feelings I get whilst listening to this. It’s rage and melancholic and hopefull all at the same time.

I found Brutus a couple years ago while listening to a podcast interview with Tatiana Shmayluk from Jinjer. I don’t remember what the podcast was but they played some music in between and one song was Sugar Dragon 🐉 It was so ethereal just took me to another place. Had to look them up after that and I’m glad I did! Will definitely be checking out this new album when it drops.
sweet i heard them on WSOU seton hall pirate radio, a New Jersey college radio station, the song cemetery, I was like what the hell is this! I love it! I shazammed it and loved them ever since.

This band it´s an authentic gem. So talented. The singer´s vocals are full of emotion and her playing it´s an esential part not only of the band´s sound but the song´s feeling. I think "Unison" their last album are their best to date and one of the best of 2022.
