I've seen many people in recent times state that the SNES can't put more than three enemies on-screen in beat 'em ups (maybe four if you're lucky): 12:38 That's two players, four foot soldiers, and five of those mouser things on-screen at once, for a total of eleven characters on-screen with no slowdown [even while stuck running in SlowROM at 70% of the SNES full CPU speed] and still with the usual lovely visuals, great audio, and excellent gameplay. And this rom hack regularly has the player plus eight foot soldiers: ruclips.net/video/Rf2Gbflgxus/видео.htmlsi=pTn_t541XgIbvgt4
