Went to the everglades. Followed your video for beginners...Exploration II for the catfish, bowfin etc...NO1 hook,small minnows...what a time..hit a Gar hotspot..filled up a 264lb keepnet within a couple of hours...XP wasn't great as only had 22lb float rod with me but money was great!!!! Thx for tips, been a great help. One of my own for those starting, you can use a feeder rod as a bottom rod. Just use a sinker instead of feeder.... Very helpful early on!
I got the unique snook with the Nero while trying to get the catfish. It took like 10min with 6kg blue braid
Yeah it sometimes happens can always let line out, and they will spit out the hook in the future
I caught a 66lb unique flathead with my laker pro and 13 lb braided it took awhile to land
Nice catch! That's honestly rare without the right equipment.
Lvl 14 dual rod stand works where you can see the ground next to the dock. Just gotta angle it right and slowly walk the dock out. I use mine all time bc I didn't think any others would work

I love the series, but I have to disagree with the statement where you should buy a dlc rod for the bigger fish in the salt water spot. I pulled a 40 lb unique snook on the first basscaster rod and a 8.5lb reel lol
Idk if you mentioned this or not but a spinner bait with 2" shad trailer is pretty cheese here

Bass are really hard to catch i have a 18.1 kg line but even a trophy one fights well

Half oz bass jig 3/0 and 4/0 work great. If you dont have those unlocked use a 3" shad
why can you use the dual rod holder on the pier at emerald lake but in the everglades its a nope...
Is there an alternative for the heavy chaser, I'm at level 20, because when I go to get this particular rod it says ☆48 Am I missing something? Your videos by the way have been amazingly helpful by the way. Thanks x

Getting the striking time out constantly, and I know its something simple that I'm doing wrong but I'm having no luck, any suggestions? And I've been stuck a the Everglades so its relevant to this vid somewhat :)
Stop reeling with the rod you have in your hands, grab the other rod hook the fish up. Then watch the tension of the line of the rod that is in your rod stand, and if the rod isn't bending, stop reeling, grab the rod, fight the fish! You may lose some fish but it will prevent this strike timed out problem

go to the dock he caught the redear sunfish at but go in the middle of the dock and cast right in front of you towards the the tree in the middle of the water

I appreciate your advanced beginner guides. But at this point in your series, you've lost 99% of the players who are following your series. You equip gear that requires players players to invest 100s of hours, like it's no big deal.

That’s not true at all, I’ve followed several of his series and all of the stuff is low level gear. The DLC rod in this series is $4.99 and with that you get a 70kg keep net, reel, line, loads of bait, extra home storage, bait coins, a new gear setup slot, loads of adding for the bottom feeding rod like a bell, hooks, weights, leaders.
I just looked for what I could afford closest to what he had for a set-up and it worked fine the info is perfect even if the gear needs to be tweaked, no RL money spent and I kept up with the series just fine. Thanks again for the outstanding videos, I'm almost done and moving on to your monster fish series.

If you can grind out a few days IRL during the 7 day at Bolivia then go there, if you maybe get busy during those 7 days then its wasted. Blue Crab you got a entire month to grind so it might be better for you.
