They really nailed the ambiance of the southern US for us. The devs put a lot of attention into getting it right.

just hit 300h on this game its really chill, with frequent updates and events to keep it interesting, the mmo aspect is great too lots of fun chatting, clubs and tournaments.
This game is pretty complex as someone who has played it for a long time. different baits, lure weights, lures, rods reels, its pretty fun tbh. Plus catching sharks in Saint and walleye in NY. great game to pass time with.

For all the fishing games ive played i do have to say fishing planet is probably the best one ive found. The level grind and cash grind is kinda meh but just for being able to be very precise with cast placements and work lures realistically enough its good. Just took abit to get used to some of the ui
Get a bigger keep net and a multi-rod case and have one of each basic rod, A float rod, a cast/spin rod and a feeder rod! And You can stay overnight to catch more fish per trip if you stay 3+ days in any one area!
