Hey, everyone! According to a lot of people, the video isn't showing correctly. I’m level 30 an still fish at Emerald Lake, definitely huge Trophy Walleye in the middle of the lake by the tree. I also catch Unique Sauger by the rock on the far left side of the lake. My prefer lures for Emerald are Barbless Jigheads that match the lure weight and glow in the dark 3” inch worm .. If not bites i will use the Purple Barbless Narrow Spoon. I take a 44lb keepnet and make roughly $4000 at full capacity. Overall definitely a good lake for beginners looking to level up and unlock more items. Great Vid 🤜🏼
how do you still afford the trip each time? do you make profit? if so how?
@@ballisticb1726 if you stay on the lake it's $500 each day you stay, you can easily make $500 a day catching walleye.

@@madhatterentmt6146 no, when u advance to new day it sells your entire keep net. So you reduce the cost of the lake and usually end up with profit after selling 1 days worth of fish depending on size of net. The level 13 net will profit once full, any net before that will take roughly 2 sales

Yeah it’s definitely just because the game isn’t super popular, but BZ’s video format is amazing he deserves way more subs
a little tip guys to let you have much less pain: you can spool forrward time without time penalty at night. So you can skip to the evening or night and if your net is full you can just skip to late niight and from there to evening or night of the next day and so on.

Tip for beginners if you have a kayak go to the Lilly pad spot to the left and go to 9pm and use a 3foot crank and keep casting I between your guaranteed a walleye almost every cast

Thanks to the wealth of knowledge in this video, I conquered Emerald Lake. Your videos have always been helpful but this one kicked ----. The narrow purple barbless lure was all I needed, I tried a feeder rod with stand but the "juggling" is too much. I went from 101 coins to 116, $19,??? to $57726-Incredible, Level 24 to 27- I never leveled higher than 1 level in a day prior to today. I fished through 5 fishing days peak times with a 2 day license, so tomorrow-more of the same. THANKS again.

So glad you have guides for this, I just switched from console to PC and Im starting over so I didnt know what to farm
One thing though they did change, u can sell your fish before u pay for the next day, SO if u have 3000. u can go to emerald lake. fish skip to next morning after done fishing for the night and u get the money for the fish then u can pay the 500 for the next day now. which is much better imo

Apparently tripod rod holder will work in emerald lake on the dock or the rod holders with built in bite alarms.
I think he made this video before an update that changed it bc mine doesn’t either
Looking back this was my favorite time in the game
thanks to you i've starting learning to handle dual rods and get pass emerald lake in a bit more than a RL day to move on to everglade, granted dual rods handling still allowed some fish occasionally, but nonetheless this is very helpful in move XP and money earning, TY!

4:48 actually that's false, if you afford the travel cost, when you don't have money for the next day you can go to the next day, you can get the fish sold and then pay for the next day, that's what I found out, may not work for other people but sure does for me

Also at Emerald Lake at the moment. General question this time. Because my 5yo insisted, I rented a boat for a bit. It is fun, granted, but seems expensive and not really necessary? In the end is renting or buying one financially worth it? Do you use it enough to warrant buying one. And then a Kayak or a motor boat? Maybe you got a video on that, but I haven't found it yet.
Yeah, there isn’t much use for a boat early on except for just wanting to try something new. The opportunities they may come in handy for are going to be when targeting large fish you wouldn’t be able to fight from the bank. Otherwise, your first boat you buy will most likely be for Blue Crab Island.

Hey man I've started watching you recently becouse I'm new to the game and your tips helped me a lot(I'm lvl 9 at the moment) but I still don't know all the mechanics of the game.... So I want to ask you how do I sell fish without leaving the map?
Just change the time to the next day, it will sell the fish after you pay the fee to move on to the next day
I'm level 47 and have been in the 40s for a while. I can't seem to find the right spot to fish to level fast🤦

Yeah, the music can be a bit loud in some of these earlier videos - in my opinion. However, my ADD just loses focus on the video when I don't have some sort of background music keeping me aligned, which is why I always have it.
@@BoAngles Oh, I thought that you added the music later. Usually when I play I just turn on some video in the background, can be pretty depressing to play without sounds.

@@BoAngles I will check once I’m done filling my keepnet, I’m using a purple barbless narrow spoon and catching insane walleye on it so it’s a good replacement to make up for lost money

Your fish sells once you start next day. So it emptys, you can fill it again without paying travel cost

Man... I like you, I like your videos but if you're gonna do a beginners series, stop spending so many baitcoins and using baitcoin lures to rush everything. It's just gonna leave new people without any baitcoins and money and in over their head. People should wait to about level 15 and have around 20k before hitting emerald. Then you can go in with the fishcabin xs (7.5/55 lbs) and all the 6lb line and leaders and lures you could ever need without spending a SINGLE coin. There's no need to speed rush the game, between the first three lakes you get to 15 in maybe a week of casual fishing.
I started this free to play play-through, just like any other player, and am still yet to spend IRL money to progress.
If I’m spending in game money, Its because I recommend spending that in game money on that gear. If I’m spending bait coins, it’s because people should have those bait coins at the same point in the game, and I recommend spending them. There’s nothing wrong with spending the free bait coins you get while playing and getting right into the action earlier on.
