Blythe Aurnia Nádúr that’s amazing! From a sustainability standpoint, I would like to, but I was raised on a farm so I grew up around everything being centered around food and animal products. I have cut out red meat and dairy, so baby steps
@@lydiaford6200 if baby steps is what helps, then that is Fantastic! I went vegetarian first for a year and a half. It helped me transition. When growing up having eating animals and their products is the norm, it's hard to change it. I lived on a farm for a while as well and I believed that animals were here to feed us. Have you watched the documentary, Earthlings? It's here on RUclips. It is an extremely hard one to watch but do so in it's entirty. It helps to open your eyes. Good luck on your way to veganism :o)

My partner and i have decided to become vegan. This is after a lifetime of eating meat and dairy (30 years). We started out on compassion grounds and then saw the health benefits. While our pet dogs and cats are still fed meat and eggs, we are on trial vegan diets. And we are so completely sold! Tasty is helping a lot.
I am living for all the vegan content coming to RUclips these days. I started transitioning to plant based a few months ago and getting all these meal prep ideas from RUclips has been incredibly helpful.

Why are Tasty "week" meal preps always for 4 days? I'd expect most people are on a standard 5 day work week, so it seems odd.
Paul McManus that's usually about how long things keep in the fridge. And a lot of people go out to eat more so on weekends
I think it's because it's easier to portion things or adjust recipes, or maybe 4 days in a row is about as much as a person can stand eating mostly the same thing in a row.

I do eat meat/fish but very rarerly and I try to make it only for special occasions. I love vegan/veg recipes as they are so much more than just "cream/butter/milk/egg". I was drooling throughout this video...💕

Absolutely love that you guys are putting out vegan content! As a long-time vegan with no qualms about as soy, though, five days of tofu isn't super enticing. Also, not every vegan recipe needs to contain nuts/nut butter!

a little tip from a 10 yr vegan: press and freeze tofu, then boil in broth or salted water before cooking if you're looking for a chewy "meaty" texture.
Press, freeze, press, freeze, the more you do the more “meaty” ;)

The pesto quinoa made me a little sad because the other things had great color and would've offered nice contrast to if the pesto was just tossed with the quinoa alone. :T

For the fried tofu, could you use flax eggs as a binder too instead of the double flour and milk dip? Do you think it would change the end result?
