- My review of the Spitfire OG Classic Wheel 52mm 99 duro.
I accidentally say “cone-ical” instead of *con-ical” so please excuse me. I also mention this is the widest riding surface spitfire makes which is not true- they have bigger wheels but I think just for 52mm they are still the widest. :)

Im a bones wide cut kinda guy! Just found it the best all around, decent in every aspect and suits my needs perfectly... but I have to mention, Dude you nevet disappoint! Love that you make an "all around" review mentioning all the pros and cons, your experiences and the comparions... learned a lot from your videos. Thanks for the huge effort and quality stuff...
Thank you my g! I appreciate the support and comments as well! 💪🏻
hey man love the vid, you deserve more subs!
Thank you g! 🙏🏻
For me my most favorite Spitfire wheel is the Lock-In. Love that shape. I have tried OJ Nomads and they're fine. On the crappy surface around my neighborhood though the OJ Plain Jane Keyframes were the best at 87A. Keep doing your thing man. Update when you feel like it.
I almost bought some Keyframes to cruise around- still might. Thanks for the support always and would love to try the Lock Ins someday. 💪🏻
I love my lock ins ❤
I think the OG Classics have an awesome look and I’d be wanting to try them out in the future. Good to know they are a bit lighter than the Conical Fulls. Thanks for the review! Clicked immediately when I saw the notification.
I’m currently riding the 54mm V4 Powell-Peralta Dragons. Slightly wider shaped wheel. Probably on par with a Conical. For me with very little park/smooth ground skating that’s an absolutely fantastic wheel. It’s made skating so much easier now that I’ve moved.
Can’t wait to hear how they last- they’re supposed to be killing the game with that wheel.
Glad you like yours, I got a set of the 52s and was psyched tp try them but unfortunately I find them to be noticeably slow and not easier to slide than Ricta Clouds, which are both faster and smoother.
@@jonathandantonio649 I was riding mainly comparing to 54mm OJ Keyframes before and I like these better. Also better than the 54mm OJ Nomads.
I run Powell G-Slides on one of my favorite street set-ups so I was intrigued when I heard about the Dragons and was expecting to like them. But running them side by side with Nomads and Ricta Cloud 92s amongst others and they just felt so slow by comparison and I don't think they slid that much better. For street riding the Rictas are to me simply a better compound, and I absolutely love Nomads in the park (I'm biased there)
@@jonathandantonio649 I don’t ride much park (too far to travel for comfort) maybe that’s a reason for my bias. Only ridden Nomads, Keyframes,
Formula Fours and STFs. For street skating on rough ground I really dig the Dragons. But maybe Rictas are good. I’ve found a good wheel for now though.
yey I was waiting for this review. very nice.
so far I like the regular conical the best, but I've not yet ridden the tablets and OG classics are very interesting in my eyes.
they have a deeper cone than the other wheels, less width, more riding surface, seems interesting.
the nomads I also have and I didnt like em too much.
sure they get over crust pretty well, but they are way too sticky.
the powell dragon formula outclass the nomads in every regard, for street skating they are truly unmatched.
Everyone’s talking about the Dragons- def on my hit list of must try wheels!
Just can't agree on the Dragons; Nomads are faster in the park and don't give up much comfort on the street to the Dragons, and Ricta Clouds are superior in almost every way. I've run all three wheels back to back and the speed difference cannot be denied
Jon I'll send you my lightly used Dragon 52s if you want to test them. Don't plan on riding them again and maybe you'll like them better.
I used to exclusively skate the OG spitfires.
They feel slower than formula 4s and shave down faster but I just like the natural feel of them and I like how they age with time
My favorites are the formula four conicals/fulls 99a but right now I’m trying the classics 97a and they’re pretty dope
Want to try the 97A Classics to have something in between my Powell Dragons (93A) and 99A Spitfire Classics to be able to skate rough and smooth surfaces
I saw you’re riding the Krooked Worrest Twin Tail. Which trucks/size do you use with that deck? 🙌🏻
Where do you live? I'm in the Bay area
Spitfire F4 OG Classics 99DU 60mm or are all OG shapes discontinued? Or why are they never in stock?
og shapes are difficult af to find unfortunately
@@BitesTheDusto I got obsessed with these wheels and managed to buy them on ebay in Germany and brought them back to my country (Uruguay) They weren't cheap but I'm very happy with them, they were worth every penny. 😌
@@RussKnof sickkk, I might do the same, I love how they look
radial fulls are the widest wheel spitfire makes
What’s up g!
Do they make them in a 52mm? Everything I’m talking about is within the 52 range except the Nomads- and also i believe I mention they have the widest riding surface, not the widest wheel. If you go up in diameter of course you’ll see an increase in riding surface. 👍🏻
@@Skatebetter smallest they make them in is 56mm, the riding surface on them is 26 and on 58mm its 28.
@@3jsu5 gothcha- I’ll update the description so everyone knows I’m talking about 52mm. Thanks!
They damn sure are big-@$$ wheels for the type
Miss u brah.
