I 100% agree with you about the danger of gender ideology and children. I disagree or may have only received a partial message regarding your statements about same sex attraction. Im gay and there is absolutely no way I could ever be sexually attracted to females, grosses me out, trued in my teens with a very attractive girl who I liked very much (but I didn't feel pair bonding feelings and later realized what that feeling is with guys and only guys) and physically my body does not work with females. So, while some may be bisexual and be able to find attraction to both sexes, some of us are not, and that will never be a comfortable option. When I think about forcing myself to be with a woman, the thought feels like it would be a forced thing kind of akin to rape, being forced even buly ones self to have sexual interaction. Maybe this has to do with religion for you, but homosexuality does exist in a definite form.
Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I agree with you about there being varying degrees of sexual attraction, and I understand your feeling that you could not be with a woman sexually. You are also right about me viewing sexuality from the lens of faith. For me, our bodies belong to God and I believe He is jealous if we share them outside the confines of marriage. Although I have never had sex with anyone other than my wife, I still am way more attracted to men than women. The New Testament refers to us as the bride of Christ, so I am pretty sure we are destined for intimacy with him. Can't wait! Thanks again for commenting.
