I remember how much i hated coal when i was powder mining because i didnt have personal compactor back then and it filled my inventory quickly all the time
You can make a setup so that /is puts you in the portal, no extra inputs required. Downside is that you can’t access the rest of your island for 6 hours.
you can't do that because of transfer cooldown. but if you want to eliminate inputs you could set your spawn in a water stream that pushes into the portal
DUDE I did this a couple weeks back and realized how broken it was and didn’t want to say anything. Haven’t done it in a bit but it’s cool to see the best miner sharing this😂
The reason coal mining makes so much money is because the veins are huge, very common, and each ore drops way too much coal. I mined coal to max out my coal collection and also get the mining sacks, wnd it took me 40 minutes, and I had 150 mining fortune and wasn't even instamining hardstone or coal.
when i was powder grinding a while back i would always go out of my way to mine coal as i felt like it gave some decent extra cash alongside it. i felt like maybe i was a fool at the time, but here i am now with my goofy money making method finally vindicated
