- In this video I will be covering how to get infinite renewable energy in the Mekanism mod for Minecraft!

The electric pump can actually infinitely get water from one source block!
Also, if you’re playing a pack with Cooking For Blockheads, the kitchen sink is popular for infinite water that requires no energy :3 (Just have to set the mechanical pipes to extract from it)

Another potential infinite water alternative for anybody in 1.12 is the infinite water source from NuclearCraft (I think. It's been awhile since I played 1.12, but it's from one of the reactor mods). Not sure about other sources for newer versions other than the kitchen sink though
If you don't have a trash can, check if you have a "Small Waste Incinerator".
Carrots and potatoes also give the same amount and is muuuch easier to farm.
You can also skip some pipes and place them side by side, they auto-eject into each other.

@@carbonaradepapa1276 dropper and lava will suffice, and both are vanilla.
if you have thermal expansion, the nullifier will work flawlessly as well
For the upgraded version, you could add a heat generator to burn up excess logs.
Add a fuelwood heater to the heat generator, put the logs in that instead. It will burn far more efficiently too
For people who may be confused, the trash can is from the Extra Utilities mod

i use a 9x9 carrot field. there a no seeds or other stuff like poisend potatos or something else.. 9x9 field can easy support up to 10 gas burning generators.. and if your modpack have cooking for blockheads, you could use a sink instead of a pump.. it doen't need energy and works ( in most of the modpack ) as infinite water source
Even with pollution of the realms this is very useful. The gas burning generator on ethylene is actually, due to ethylenes energy density, surprisingly clean in terms of energy to carbon/sulphur ratio. Oddly in file shows ethylene as 0 sulpher but the gas gen itself produces miniscule amounts. I find it producing little overall and i rarely have to replace the leaves. And only had 1 piece of sulpher form in the filter in over 10 hours of running it.

I know this is over a year old, but heat generators are great because you can surround them in lava to get passive power generation. It's not a ton (just under 40 FE/t with the generator being in the same space as a lava source block, plus 6 surrounding it), but it's not nothing. Especially for early-game, and not using any fuel. You can also boost this if you temporarily need more power by adding lava/coal/charcoal/wood/etc. as fuel
Eh nah, you ditch it immediately for solar or wind lol
Fuelwood heater can also turn the coal guzzling heat generator into a far more efficient generator
If you have phytogenic insolator or a garden cloche or any auto farming setup, try farming potatoes. 1 baked potato gives you 10MJ of energy, for a price of 100KJ - 200KJ. (1 baked potato = 7 bio fuel = 350 ethylene) and try to give the machines speed upgrades and energy upgrades for better energy output.

@@AnkleBiter3854 yeah, you could probably use a chest and a logistical transporter. or a logistical sorter so you would only output potatoes and not the poison ones.
@lazypercel5422 someone also mentioned using carrots instead, as they don't have any other byproducts that need discarding
@@AnkleBiter3854 yeah, you could do that too. thermal dynamics include an upgrade that automatically discard any byproducts, so i dont mind using potatoes

Just getting in the modded minecraft this tutorial was amazing easy to understand and follow.
Actually you don’t need some pipes, you can just configure the machines to output gaz or liquides on the sides

I have the hook up correct but the bio fuel won’t go into gas burner generator only when I have a heat genrator next to it
I recommend using garden cloches from immersive engineering. They don't need any fertilizer, just water, and are fully compatible with mekanism infrastructure
you can squish the whole thing into a 3x4 by removing the pressurized pipes and logistical pipes.
Once you out grow this setup for power you can use the ethylene to make hdpe, and you will need a bunch of hdpe for late game Mekanism.
On default configuration, 1 fully upgraded prc can sustain like 11 gas burning generators with etylene, provided you have enough biomass production. that prc needs an electrolytic separator with 4-5 speed upgrades to give sustainable hydrogen. With infinite water and automated melon farm, and a basic crusher fully upgraded, you can get a net gain of ~65Krf/t :D
Ratios are likely different in enigmatica six, i should warn. The processing speeds of PRC’s even fully upgraded is now pretty slow, slow enough it cannot keep up with 1mb/tic.
the bonsai mod can get enough biomass to sustain the system

If you touch lava to the heat generator it works that way too, specially if you surround all but the one power side in lava.

Very nice look into a different way of starting up in Mekanism
if you need infinite biomass, I would recommend using a harvester from cyclic, in something like a carrot or potato farm.

Mekanism pump does not require an infinite water source. It only requires a single block as it does not actually draw any water off.

btw the heat generator is actually an infinite power generation if it has lava in its sides, up to 5 (last one for energy output)

You can surround Heat Generators with Lava and it will automatically generate FE without the need for fuel. :p
It still produces a pitiful amount even like that, but it is better than wasting your coal

Amazing tutorial my fren, mekanism is such an amazing mod.
In 1.18/v10 ethelyne can make almost 80k/tick. They super charged it. Combine it with cactus/snad or melons in a cloche and you can make hundreds of thousands of RF with very little investment (1 crusher, 1 separator) will easily run 5 prcs and a single prc can run ~10 gas burning generators

To get the max energy u would need to use a ultimate or elite cable, or in pipez use at least the gold upgrades

The first thing I do when starting a new Mekanism world is get an ethylene setup going, I then like to make a 1 into 3 ore processing area and have the digiminer feed into it and then build the reactor. doesnt take too long
I only made a fission reactor to make the polonium pellets. The solar provides all the power you need.

I feel it was done that way just to demonstrate where the water needs to go, he is doing a tutorial afterall, hiding parts of a build wouldn't be that nice to the newcomers.

I was New to the mod and Saw this Video... now on my World theres a Generator like this but with 3 prc's and 42 Gas burners outputting 300k+ energy... Well this Video realy helped me ^^

Wow this setup is extremely powerful early on.
This was extremely helpful but at the same time i’m just going uhdoy.
Imagine my surprise after scaling down a BiggerReactors Reactor/Heat Exchanger/Turbine last night to fit into a 13x13 compact machine for 24k RF/t, that I could have done way less work, for way less materials, and pulled closer to 100k RF/T. Gonna try this out later with the suggestions here in the comments.

I made a generator like this with like, 40 gas burning generators and 4 PRC's, but all of mine Biofuel is being transported to only 2 of them. Is there a fix to it?
update: nevermind, i fixed it by transporting biofuel using quantum dinguses.
You can pour lava on to the heat generator for passive max 20rf/t if you dont know
Still use this today, if you combine it with the mystical agriculture mod to create apples and you put it in this machine you've got your unlimited power 😁😁😁

Not exactly infinite power when you are required to feed the system vegetation. By that standard a combustion engine is infinite power

Does your larger version of the setup also use a second Electrolytic Separator? Or would a single one be enough?
@W34VER2020 you could go for a second, but usually a fully upgraded electrolytic will do the trick
This machine does not make infinite energy. You have to constantly fill it with something to make biofuel. Or am I missing something?
i used a energy condensor from project E and just fed it a apple and it dupes the apple and you wont have to deal with the other things

Mate, i made this thing literally automatic and so op using project e and some other stuff... It can literally fill like 10 ultimate bateries within 20 seconds
I asking myself now if i can use the hydrogen for the gas machine, because it's rlly boring getting saplings when you doesnt have ender io to make a sapling farm...

Are inputting the proper gases? Are your pipes set up properly. Check the configurations on the PRC, sometimes you might need to use the configurator to change it

Well I try to do this in sf4, and it didn't have Basic logical pipe and basic universal pipe
My only question is what happens with the leftover oxygen, would it not build up and stop the machine every once in a while?
