- Lori Vallow Daybell is currently on trial for the murder of her two children, “J.J.” Vallow and Tylee Ryan, and her alleged role in the death of Tammy Daybell, the late wife of her husband, Chad Daybell. Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell, who is also charged in the killings, have pleaded not guilty. Chad Daybell will be tried separately. 1)If the police took THEIR job seriously and really listened to Charles and the things he was saying, i stead of just brushing him off like he is the problem not Lori who is to say if 5he kids would still be alive today. That's one
2) When the police came to the domestic argument between Alex and Charles they did absolutely nothing and I mean nothing. Lori pulls up with Kylee all smiles and laughing talking bad about her dead husband also you clearly hear how she brainwashed Kylee to follow and say only what they talked about.
3) If the police did their jobs and arrested Alex those 3 precious lives may still be alive today.

There are no words to describe the level of denial from Lori's mother and sister
It tells u why Lori was vulnerable to those crazy beliefs of being the chosen one. Her family seems open to believe all crazy explanations from Lori without reasonable questions.

I think gullibility is often taught from a young age. It’s not surprising to me that Lori’s family lacks critical thinking skills-Lori clearly does as well.
Also it might be a situation where the truth is simply too much to accept.
Yes it's really true how Lori's mum n sister are bluddy bad liars can't they tell the truth. Even watching the interview I'm not a cop I could straight away notice their lies
1. A dead husband -Lori
2. A dead wife -Chad
3. Two dead children
4. Service dog returned.
5. Kids toys and clothes in a locker.
6. A marriage just after a wife and husband of each is dead.
All within a span of time. The concidences are too obvious one wonders why her mother and sister are in denial of what really happened.

Luckily, his Kauai interview attempt (of Lori and Chad) went viral on social media! Without Nate Eaton’s dogged journalism, none of this would have happened! Early on, the police weren’t that interested, and JJ’s grandparents had so much trouble getting any information on where JJ could be, and what was happening…
Yep, if the police had been proactive, most of this tragedy would not have happened.
Nothing screams innocence like going on a honeymoon while your kids are missing, if my children went missing I’d also just keep on with my life. Said no one ever.
For real!! My son was missing for less than an hour when he was a toddler and it was the worst effing experience of my life. After everything I'd seen on Nancy Grace and the news.. my God.. 8 years later and I still have PTSD from it. If i dont know where he is I'm a mess. 😢

Looking at her mother and sister, one can clearly see where Lori's toxic narcissism comes from. No willingness for self reflection at all, just deflection, lies and endless entitlement.
But after all that we've seen about Lori's family so far, I do hope that we'll also get to know much more about the second half of this murdering couple, Chad Daybell. Who was he? What kind of family did he come from? I would REALLY like to know where did he get the idea that he was a chosen one and a prophet with superpowers, who simply declared Charles, Tammy and two innocent kids to be evil, possessed by demons and deserving to be murdered.

I lived a mile from the house where the kids bodies were found. The husband was arrested two houses from mine and I came home from work to see tons of police cars driving away and it never occurred to me that the husband had just been arrested moments before I came home from work.

As a mother myself I'm sure it's very difficult to accept that your child murdered or helped to get rid of your grandchildren. You try your best to raise your children to be good people. I'm sure she is constantly thinking where did I go wrong.

I grew up mormon and I have lived in many different places. I enjoyed going to church in VA, NC, and FL. I learned that people are different in different places. You do always seem to have your stereo types like 'sister bertha better than you' and 'sister soppy cry all the time' and God has always warned of the wolf in sheeps clothing. With that being said, I did not like going to church in Utah and the culture out there is odd.
I really would like to know how the mother and sister reacted upon knowing that JJ and Tylee's bodies were found on Daybell's property.

Her mother seems like she probably made excuses for Lori her entire life in one way or another. The whole family really. I do not believe for a second she spoke with JJ on the phone the day she claims either. She "heard him in the background," and that may or may not have been what she heard. How anyone could do this to their children will forever be something no one understands.

Imagine sitting on TV doing an interview while your grandkids are missing, strange deaths have been occuring, your daughter is in the middle and a liar about all of it, then you're lying (not too good at that either) about talking to your missing grandchild! She back tracked there when he asked her again if she spoke to JJ that day, and you could clearly tell it was a lie. You have to be some kind of f***ed up piece of work to be doing something like that. Seems as though you would want to be as honest as possible, any detail you can ever imagine let it be known, and get to the bottom of it to make sure the kids were safe. Instead make stuff up. Unreal. Makes me so angry after listening to the trial this week hearing about them finding those sweet babies. May they rest in peace and I hope Lori & Chad are made to sit and rot alone in cells until their day finally comes. I hope the mother and sister feel good about themselves now.

It's sad to see how much Lori's mom and sister are in such denial here in this video. The audio from Summer and Lori after the kids were confirmed dead is so heartbreaking. I understand why they defended her at first, but it's crazy on the other hand bc of how the story was playing out at that time.

I don't care how much I love my family members. There is no way I would get on national t v and proclaim their innocence when it's that much evidence against them. Take feelings out of the way, and look at all the evidence. It doesn't mean you don't love them if you face the fact that the evidence points to their involvement.

It is a really sad thing because you'd think they would have loved those kids enough to try to stand up for them, find them, reveal the truth but no, they continued to shelter and empower Lori Shallow both privately and publicly. There is love and then there is just poorly aligned loyalties and I think the later meant more than the former to these people.

Given today’s testimony from the detective, I am convinced she is a sociopath. It’s been 4 years and today is the first time she has shown any sadness, which was probably done just to gain jury sympathy.
It's absolutely creepy how she's so faking any emotion. She only feels bad for herself and knows damn well what happened to those kids and was the mastermind behind it. Her sister and mother are ridiculous and terrifying in their own way. They make you realize that Lori easily was so swayed by anything because so are they. It runs in the family.
What an absolute monster she is. I'm the grandmother of two little boys. One of them has autism. If someone hurt them, the person responsible would never make it to trial.

Madalina Cojocari has been missing since November. Her mother and step father did not report her missing for three weeks, when the school inquired. She's still missing. The parents are in jail and not talking. I just wanted to mention her name. She should be remembered.

If my dog went missing, I would do everything in my power to find him. Posters, telling everyone I know, all my neighbors, etc. I would be so beyond devastated. But a child? I don’t have children yet. But if my dog means so much to me, I can’t even imagine the love and bond between parent and child. Shame on those parents!!!!!!

Later, during the trial, Summer charged her tune when the children were found on Chad's property. What mother would be dancing and having the time of her life on a beach in Kauai while her children are no where to be found???

I cannot tell you how exceedingly rare it is for a family or person to relinquish a service dog.

I was sickened to my stomach over the way her mom and sister steadfastly defended her. They acted as though the whole thing was absurd. Almost makes me wonder if they also had a hand in the children's disappearance as well as the murders Lori is believed to be involved with. Either that or they definitely know something.

This case makes me so sick. I can’t say what I want to say because I’m a Christian woman. What I want to say is evil because these were innocent babies. Who returns a service dog? I didn’t realize the her ex husband was filing for divorce and sole custody of the kids. He should of had those kids, then she could be free and runn off and do what ever she wanted without hurting them. I’m wondering if it was her ego that wouldn’t allow that to happen or that fact that she was collecting multiple checks from the kids. Just sick

@Caribbean Joe's found buried on her and Chad's property - at the back of the property line, several acres from their home. Basically, they lined the kids' shallow graves with rocks. One of the children's bodies had evidence of an attempt to be burned, but this was ditched and they were buried instead. Awful. I hope that he's found guilty for killing his wife and they- he and Laurie, rot in the underworld together.

I disagree. Actions tell more than words. So, if someone has been a good person all of his/ her life, they most likely will continue to be that person. As humans, we need to be connected to other humans. To live in solitude because you always have to be on guard - well, that is not a way to happiness, that's for sure.

Chad needs to fry for this as well. Her poor children do deserve privacy. We'll find out the details at some point. To give her this attention is just boasting her ego even more.
It's not locked - just that no cameras are allowed in the courtroom. But they are publishing the audio, in full. (With the exception being that if one of the lawyers asks for a sidebar, they mute that because they legally have to. What the lawyers and judge say at the side bar is private. That's not some kind of sneaky trick.)

Very glad her trial has started. Not surprised her only living son hasn't been in attendance at court so far. She broke his heart into tiny pieces. To hear Chad refer to Lori as an empty nester to his parents was disgusting and gave me chills. 😮💔🥺💔😔

I think they took the kids to Yellowstone to check it out and see if they could dispose of kids there. So many people there, federal land etc. they both died shortly after this trip.
