When do we subtract .5 to the lower boundary..?
We subtract 0.5 from lower limit and add 0.5 to upper limit only if we have inclusive class interval ex- 1-5,6-10,11-15 and so on. Pls let me know if you have any questions..

What to if modal class is the first class? Thn wht will be the value for preceeding frequency?
Yes, this situation can arise...here, the frequency of preceding class will be 0....the reason is that in reality there is no preceding class here only because it's frequency is 0. This point is also mentioned in the video...

Miss what in that case if the modal class is the first or last class? How would be able to find the frequency of the preceding and the succeeding class respectively? Would we take the value 0 as there is no frequency even a class don't exists???

When the highest frequency is repeated twice,it means there are 2 values that have the highest frequency i.e. there are 2 mode values..such data is called multi modal data. In such cases, we simply have to take each modal class and apply the mode formula separately to get the 2 mode values...

What should we do if there is two modal class
I mean two class intervals having same no.of frequency and that is also maximum?

Yes, it can often be the case that you have mentioned...in that case, we will get 2 modes, that cannot be avoided....we need to apply the mode formula for each modal class separately and get the 2 different modes...pls let me know if you have any questions
