thank you for your simple explanation, I have understood the formula for median
Oh my gosh, you are awesome sir
This was really helpful. Thank you so much
Thanks now. Am going to understand
You are welcome. We really appreciate your feedback.
Warm regards.
Well explained, 🙌🏽
We are glad it was helpful!
Thanks 👍👍👍👍👍👍
thanx
How to understand the formula when △1 is zero or △2 is zero or both △1 and △2 are zero?
This helped a lot! Thank you so muchh
Pls sir how did you arrive at the 68.67 am have a different answer
How did he get that final answer for median which is 68.67 please
I added the lower class boundary (59.5) of the median class to the result obtained from the evaluation of 110/12 = 9.17
So that 59.5+9.17 = 68.67
This is easy
This is soo nice I understood everything 🫱🏼🫲🏽❤️😮💨🔥🔥
We are happy one of our videos is helpful to.
We really appreciate your feedback.

I've watch so many videos on grouped data and almost every one is doing it different ways. This is the only pattern that has given me a clearer understanding.Thank you some much sir
You are most welcome. We are glad you found the video useful.
Students will be given comment sir why do not reply me sir nice explaining sir tan q sir.

Who are here before the night of exam?
Best of luck my person.
Am here because I have exam on elementary statistics and all this can't sink in my head, damnit mathematics 💔💔
Thank you so much.
বাংলাদেশ থেকে কে দেখছেন বলবেন
pls can u typr dowm the formula for lower class boundary like in the formula? cause i need to put it down now.
Sir on the CI IT'S 40-49 WHY ARE YOU SAYING PLUS
To calculate the mid value(x) of each of the class intervals, say 40-49, you add the lower limit and the upper limit of the class interval and then divide the sum by two. (40+49)/2 = 44.5.
Thanks for your question.
Thank you sir
Hi Zoey, another way to clear the confusion is to note that the "-" in-between the numbers does not mean "minus". It is simply a hyphen indicating range "from one value to another".
I hope this was helpful too.
🙏 Thanks 🙏
Good day Sir,
According to my study, I found out there are inclusive and exclusive grouped data. Which I believe that the grouped data is inclusive, why didn't you convert it to exclusive grouped data before solving?
Thanks for the info
I dont understand the median very well how did u got the lm its confusing
Thanks sir.U saved me in the last few hours of the examination.
you fattened the bull on the market day😂😂😂🤣
When I was doing my Mathematical Methods II my Lecturer said the Cf you use is the one in line with Median class and then the frequency is the one after the median class. Was he wrong? Cause that's what I have been doing 😢😢
It depends on the arrangement of the class intervals. You are correct if the class intervals are arranged in descending order.
Please 59.5 divides 2 won't give 25 it suppose to be 29.75
Lovely
Watching this before taking my final exam
Two years later thats me
Same here I have my exam after 3 hours
when calculating median.... shouldnt 70-79 be median class?
No! The sum of the frequency is 50. That means there are two numbers in the middle since the sum is even. The two numbers in the middle are 25th and 26th numbers. When you add the frequency from either left or right, the sum that will accommodate 25 and 26 is in the class interval of 60 -69 and not 70-79.
If you add from the left, we have 6 + 8 + 12 = 26 at the class interval of 60-69 (which means 25 and 26 are there.)
If you add from right, we have the sum as 24 at the class interval of 70-79.
Thank you.
How are you
@@OninabResources
How did you pick on 26 and 24.
And then why did you conclude to pick on 26
Yes
@@wonderchoni9401 we need to take highest number so compare to 24 ,26 is the highest
My apology, it was my mistake. I already get it now, I'm just being deaf lang siguro a while ago. But it's clear now, its 60+69=129÷2=64.5 and not 12. I'm the one who can't understand hahaha sorry. 🥺 Btw. Thank you for a nice video tutorial, it just that I can't clearly hear what you are saying, I guess it's because of your accent. ☺️
I think so too
I have failed to understand too 😢
Watching 6 hours before exams ( it's 01:15am)
Best of luck my brother.
Thanks but I'm finding it difficult to understand the median
So about that. Kindly watch the beginners' version of the topic here.
It's clearer.

But help me with this number.
The number y,y-5,5,4,20,32,y-2 and 2 have a mean of 11.find the value of y and hence the medium.

What is the stander form Efx/Ef?
Thank you sir I really appreciate and also understand it well 🙏 ❤
You are most welcome. Glad to hear that.
Statistics formula please can show me Sir.
Please can you explain to me further
thank you very much.you are a patriot one>
The values of the frequency are not already in ascending order...but don't they ought to be in ascending order first before you can find the median or??🤔🤔
Thank you for your feedback and question.
It's the intervals that need to be in ascending or descending order and not the frequencies.
Warm regards.
@@OninabResources Oh Okayy
Thank you very much for the help!
great explanation. but could get the class width by simply counting from the lower to the higher bndry.
Excellent concept, provide more videos Sir thanku so much Sir 🙏
Commenting so that this gets recommended more (algorithm stuff btw)
Can I use this formula for ungrouped data too?
You can only use the formula for ungrouped data to calculate the mean. The median and mode do not have the same formula with the ungrouped data.
You are welcome.
I don't understand why median class is 50? Is it the total divided by 2?
I couldn't identify where it was mentioned in the video that the median class is 50. I advise you please watch the video again and reframe your question.
I am here
Because I am having exam next 2 weeks and I know that it will come out in the question 😇😇😎😎
We wish you the best of luck

Nope it isn't
Physics is the toughest
Tomorrow is my end of semester exams and i can’t concentrate😢😢
Best of luck in your exam.
when do we subtract 0. 5 from the lower class boundary
Thank you for your feedback.
On your question, the method of subtracting 0.5 from lower limit and adding 0.5 to the upper limit will only work if the intervals are discrete data like what we have in the video under review. If the intervals are continuous data ( 2.6 - 5.5, 5.6 - 8.5 etc), it won't work. The method used in this video is superb and I will advise you learn it.
finally
I understand thank you Sir
Thank u for that well explained turt ....I have an in-class test this week and all this was not making sense until I got into this tutorial .....u are the best

Are you sure you watched the video?

I’m confuse with where you got the 25 or 26 from when solving the median😐
Thanks for your interest in one of our videos. We appreciate your feedback.
Could you please watch again with keen attention on how every value is obtained.

Thank you sir, pls I've a question, what if our "n" is an even number... E.g, it's "48"
Are we still gonna say n/2 OR n+1/2 ?
It's optional to use (n + 1)/2 as the difference is negligible.
