    Love him. I could never understand math. But he explains statistics like it were 2+2 . Wish I had known of him about 40 years ago . My career choice would be of a far greater capacity than what I actually had

      You are welcome. That is the method.
      Take the interval, 0 - 5, the values within the interval are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. To find the median (mid value), we add 2 and 3 and divide the sum by 2 (2.5). Isn't it the same as adding 0 and 5 and then divide the sum by 2?

    Excuse me, I'm following but a bit stuck on how u got the lower class boundary to be 30.5 on Modal calculations.also does it mean the class width is the same as the modal frequency of the appicants? Kindly highlight.

      Every statistical value is an approximation. Google it and you will see that both n and n + 1 are correct.
