Watching this has actually lessened my fears of traveling with my service dog (not a guide dog, they're my Psychiatric dog). You guys are awesome and Neisen did so well!
It makes me so mad how people just walk up to help you (like they are being told to as their job) and instead start trying to pet or distract your gorgeous service pup there. I have a seizure alert service dog, I know the feeling. It’s so annoying! I’m not sure why people can’t leave well enough alone. What a good way you handle everything though! Thank you for the video.
I have only flown a round trip once. But I didn’t have a service dog at that point yet. Now I have a service dog and I might go fly soon one day. She’ll be able to go. She’s a multipurpose service dog for psychiatric and medical alert and response.
@@BlindManWalking my guide dog school finally called! They have got a dog for me, now to see if it makes it through it’s guide training over the next couple months. Fingers crossed!
If you fly First Class they never question you in any way whatsoever only if you are flying internationally just to make sure ur SD has what ever you need to get in to the country of final destination.
WTH is wrong with these people?? She just turns and walks over to the counter, looking at his bags while the guy says “you can step over there and get your stuff”. Duh!!! Over…..where?

I had anxiety watching this! Neisen did an awesome job and the lady that you followed seemed so nice. Safe travels!
We have flown a fair bit together, you just get used to it. He did great!

@georgeaguagallo3689 if you have a SD you'd know the acronym.
Good boy Niesen!
Thank you for the informational video. We are flying for the first time in a month. What kind of camera did you use and how did you attach it?
Thanks. I use a GoPro camera. It comes with a bunch of different attachments so you can attach it pretty much anywhere you want.
@@BlindManWalking thanks for your reply. I recently bought a GoPro, but I am still experimenting on how to use it best.
They are very versatile. I am totally blind and I don’t need to see in order to take decent, videos.
@@BlindManWalking That's incredible. Great job filming. Did you use a head-strap for this video?
Yes that is the one I prefer to use the most, as the angle is wider and it seems to provide a better video
