Thank you for the video. Im flying tomorrow and it is my first time. I'm quadriplegic and it is kinda scary to have to navigate this for the first time.

Thank you for this! I’m about to do my first solo international trip with my new chair and im very nervous about my new foldable manual chair being mishandled. The connection is making me nervous, even with the 2.5 hour layover. I want my wheelchair as near me as possible so I know it’s there and in good condition. I traveled a lot as a kid before I needed a wheelchair so I know my way around airports well, but this trip is stressing me out!

Do you tip the persons(s) that help you into the chair aisle seat and take you into the plane? We are in our early 60’s and will be flying AA in a couple of weeks and it’s the first time flying since my husbands stroke 3 years ago. He is super nervous and I am a bit too!

I am flying for the first time with my parents who will be traveling with a Medline Transport chair and gate checking them. What is a creative way to prevent the front casters from rotating during the air transport? I have the same issue when transporting in my vehicle. I simply adjust them and lie them flat. However, they do continue to rotate unless I shimmy a blanket or something in between the two front casters. What can I have/make to avoid the wheels from rotating once I've put them into a bag for the airline employee to stow away? Thank you.

Will they help you get in the seat? I am looking to relocate my mom and we will need to fly. She is unable to assist in transfer. Does the airline help with transfer?

I'm so scared of my chair being broken. I'm flying in a couple weeks & I'm tempted to cancel because I can't function with out my chair. I'm an incomplete quad. My legs and hands don't cooperate after a short while of activity. I can stand for a few moments & walk a short distance.

In one of your other videos you said you have spina bifida? Do you have a shunt? If so, I thought people couldnt fly with shunts cause of pressure?

So I do have spina bifida, but one of the few that has never needed a shunt. I am very fortunate in that regard, because I know having a shunt can complicate life very much

@@AdaptedAdventures That's true. I been fortunate enough not to ever have problems with it.

I have spina bifida and a shunt, and I’ve flown a number of times and never had any shunt problems.
