Fluridil is hydrophobic, so you HAVE to be sure your scalp is completely dry before you apply it. The people that got no effect may have been applying after shower with a damp scalp. That also the reason it doesn't go systemic at all.
I’ve used it for over a year w Fin and for the cost I don’t think it’s worth it. I am going to drop Fluridil and add a topical .25% Finasteride/ Min / Retin a product.
I desperately want to use RU but I’m afraid from the talk of effects on the heart. I’ve used fluridil too inconsistently to be able to judge it’s performance but I doubt it will be strong enough to tackle my aggressive hairloss. I’m on avodart and minox and I’m still losing hair
Hi Matt, sorry if you already talked about it in some of your videos but I wanted to ask you a question. I am a 19 year old boy who has been using finasteride and minoxidil for a year, the temples are currently empty and the frontal, despite the treatments under the sunlight, gives a glimpse of the scalp, in your opinion with a dhi transplant and continuing the treatments, I will solve the situation ?
I haven´t seen your donor so I don´t know if hair transplant is a good soultion for you + I don´t know how well you´re able to manage your hair loss on the rest of your scalp. I wouldn´t do a transplant for now. First, make sure the rest of your hair on the scalp is being managed properly.
Alfatradiol is not very well observed. Mainly studied in female alopecia pathogenesis. There is one study though comparing Alfatradiol to Minoxidil (female study) where Minoxidil 2% clearly kicked Alfatradiol´s ass as far as efficacy. Although it´s true that Alfatradiol´s mechanism of action is different from Finasteride and Minoxidil, I don´t think the marginal benefits you get from it are really worth it... It´s just my opinion of course.. I feel like Alfatradiol is an equivalent of 1% Minoxidil or less in terms of effectiveness.
I feel matt is not fully right here. Alfatradiol has a completely different mechanism of action and it not an hair growth stimulant like minoxidil. rather its an anti androgen.
@@joshboston2323 Exactly. It should not be compared to the effects of minoxidil but to those of finasteride, meaning the 5ari category not the growth stimulant category
I think Matt is just say effective wise. Like a “weak Minoxidil” effective wise. Not function wise. Matt for sure knows the method of action off the two drugs. We all do in this community, most of all Matt. :))
Very informative video Matt . Do minoxidil 5% will stop working one day. And when will be that day . Mean to say how many days or months or years it will work. Please Matt answer this question.
If oral Fin gave me mild gyno like effect, what should I do? Topical still goes systemic, so I don't know... Fluridil effects are unclear a bit... Very little studies and little of anegdotal reports. I'm not keen on RU , nobody knows about its long term safefy. Clascoterone looks good on paper but is expensive as hell now.
@@Samfrancis0000 Yes but alfatradiol has a posotiv of beta receptor of hair follicles, but a negative effect on alfa-receptor of hair follicles. Since most hair follicles have alfa-receptor it will worse effect for most people in long run.
I used fluridil for 3-4 months. What I can say that it may have stopped shedding, but not sure about hair grwoth though. Just wanted to say my report about Ru58841, I used it for 3 weeks, got tenderness and chest pain even with low dosage 2.5% from Anagneic.
hey Matt, I ve been in minoxidil and topical finasteride for almost 6months and I have gained a lot of my hair back but recently I ve noticed some hairfalling why does this happen?just to mention that I sweat a lot because of summer, does this affect the absorption?
Make sure you apply your topicals in the evening in order to avoid sweating afterwards. Minor hair fall is still normal to have even after using Minoxidil and topical F.
You can still shed even after 6 months. From what I’ve read most people get their stabilization after 1 to 2 years of taking finasteride. Minoxidil probably takes a year too.
I used for 26 days Fluridil, it seems to work but I got achy balls after two weeks and now I stopped with that ... are there someone with the same sides and how to avoid this side ? Tnx
@@Hackhamster yes, I got sides from that en I stopped for like two weeks and this week I started a lower dosage, I took 1/3 of 2ml every other day and after after 2 days I got the achy balls again ... This is why you shouldn’t mix fluridil with other topicals, because they contain small amounts of water.

Is it worth it as a stand alone? No. As an adjunct, absolutely! CB0301 will be sold for double what fluridil is sold at.

Would you recommend fluridil or finasterid for androgenetic hairloss?
Finasteride
You could stack both. Address hair loss from two different angles.
Wait so rubbing alcohol can grow hair? Is it a better vasodilator than minoxidil?
in minox is alc already
Obviously not tf

not as much at commercially available concentration - that is 2%.
