Give it a rest bloke, Bol and McLaughlin only met on the same track 2x IN HISTORY. And these two times where in 2021 and 2022, when Bol was only running the hurdles for 2 years (she started in 2019), while McLaughlin has been at it since 2014. That is an enormous difference. But since then Bol has grown tremendously, while McLaughlin did not do anything. 2024 is a different world from 2021 and 2022. In 2023 and beginning of 2024 Bol WON pretty much ANYTHING that could be won, while McLaughlin was pretty much out of it.

@@Tyrone1957 Femke is running 400 hurdle, she is not running the 400 flat. McLaughlin will be running the 400 flat, so they will not run against each other. Bol will win the 400 hurdles and McLaughlin will win silver in the 400 flat behind Adeleke.

Until she beats Sydney, she’ll always be #2. She has never beaten Sydney. Bol is ranked #1 because she literally runs every week. So she compiles a lot of points. Sydney basically only runs in big meets. Which is like 4-5 times a year.
