It's great that these cars are so affordable and available. It's great to be rich; life gets better when you have the money to buy the best of everything. The bigger challenge is to build cars with great performance that those less well off can afford to buy.
Your highly specific detailed talks about the handling of the car on the track is just so different from anything I've ever experienced. I can't even relate to the words coming out of your mouth. I really need to hit the track someday.

Wow! Lifelong Porsche enthusiast. Great review. Loving my new 718 GT4. And like my GT4, sounds like a nice exhaust upgrade makes the 992 Turbo S a perfect car! I want one.
Not a porche guy, but that exterior looks good, very creative running lights on the front too. As for performance, porche has always been germanys #1 to me. Amazing cinematography, like how do you even get some of those shots? Incredible.
Absolutely beautiful!!!!! My jaw is on the floor. You guys to an amazing job at showcasing the joys of sports cars through a phone screen better then anyone!
I love this channel so much more than something like what Doug D does. So much passion and detail put into the whole engineering experience is on another level. Please keep these kinds of videos up perhaps this format with many other cool cars like this beautiful 911
I Think mentioning the “wrestling a bear” analogy was a great point. While it’s no 9/11, I found my 500hp car to be less “fun” when I made it more track capable. It fees like work when I want to have fun and throw the back end out now.
I have a new 2023 Turbo S without the S-PASM option. I came from a new GTS which I felt was really low and somewhat harsh on public roads even in normal mode. Both cars have the Front Lift Option. The Turbo S is low enough and seems so compliant on the roads in normal mode. Almost telepathic. I don't plan to track the car. I wonder if I made a mistake in not speccing S-PASM but according to this video, it seems that I made the right choice. Thoughts??
As much as it is-it’s a great price. The fastest accelerating car at the moment (until the sf90, and plaid model s and roadster) for 200g? The Chiron is 2 tenths slower and 2 mil. McLaren, lambos, Ferrari, double the price and slower. 2.2 0-60. Insane
The Model S "Plaid" can do its one trick pony acceleration show for maybe one or two times, until it overheats, just like any other Tesla model. You just can't take this EV in this list of super cars, because the Plaid is just a 2.4 tons superheavy boring sedan, with NO sporty talents at all! All of Plaids "time gaining" on a race track is just due to its pure straight line acceleration capabilities. But in curves and corners the Plaid is just BULLSHIT like any other Model S, if you take it as a "sporty vehicle". The 911 Turbo S can reproduce its 2.2 seconds at 0-60 mph drag racing starts with launch control literally all day long without any issues at all! Porsche says, the 911 Turbo launch control system is capable of 20.000 launch control starts without any problems or issues! Compared to this amount of perfection, Tesla is just NOWHERE and a NOBODY, when it comes to "endurance" and reliability, because it's just a battery overheating one trick pony with the worst build quality on the market. Period.

"These horseless carriages will never compare to the clacking of the hooves of my horse, and the visceral rolling of the hand-carved wooden wheels of my Abbot-Downing carriage." Seriously, in 2040, middle-aged millennial car enthusiasts are gonna be complaining that axial hub motors just don't have the [insert je-ne-sais-quoi] of radial motors and CV joints. Automotive technology always moves on, and there's not much sense in investing your soul into what amounts to just one type of technology.
6.2 L supercharged (650 hp) here, let's see what engine holds compression better after 150k miles. 20+ psi smaller displacement turbo cars are fun (and I came from a turbo rotary) but there is a price to pay.

This authoritative and comprehensive review should push Porsche to include you int the first tier of reviewers on all forthcoming models. It's great that these cars are so affordable and available. It's great to be rich; life gets better when you have the money to buy the best of everything. The bigger challenge is to build cars with great performance that those less well off can afford to buy.
Really loved the final thoughts, Jack! Super succinct and cogent.
Your highly specific detailed talks about the handling of the car on the track is just so different from anything I've ever experienced. I can't even relate to the words coming out of your mouth. I really need to hit the track someday.
Drove one of these and a GT3 at the Porsche driving experience in Atlanta two weeks ago. Amazing vehicles.
Nice video, The 911 Turbo S is my dream car since I was a kid... Hope to buy it one day
I'm amazed that this blends aerodynamics with the aforementioned attributes in your description. Aerodynamics is clearly a leading quality that buyers care about
They don't know they do, but on a car like this aerodynamics are a big deal, for sure. It's cool having an air brake.
By far one of the best car review channels in RUclips, I'm surprise you guys don't have a million subs.
I used to sell Porsche's and since the 997 the Turbo S has been my daily dream car. 🤤
The harmony between the presenters in this episode and the quality of the production reminds me of Top Gear during its golden days. I wish this channel continues in its honest reviews path regardless of how appealing the hush money dealers offer to car reviewers to just focus on the positives. Keep it up guys! You are amazing!
Wow! Lifelong Porsche enthusiast. Great review. Loving my new 718 GT4. And like my GT4, sounds like a nice exhaust upgrade makes the 992 Turbo S a perfect car! I want one.
Currently have a 981 Cayman S, and the 992 Turbo S is and will probably (sadly) always be a dream car for me. What a miraculous machine
I ordered a S 7MT that should start being built next month. So excited! I cant wait to row the F out of it.
The orgasmic groan that SG makes when Jack launches is something I never need to hear ever again. Truly chilling.
Already know this is gonna be one of your best
Nothing beats the LFA vid
1) GT3 Hype!!!!!!!! Years in the making
2) The sound panning during the track fly by
3) Keep up the good work
Not a porche guy, but that exterior looks good, very creative running lights on the front too.
Better than any automotive TV show. I have to say the transition at 22:44 was quite clever as well.
Don’t mind me. Just commenting to boost the algorithm for the best car review channel on RUclips.
17:26 50/50 chance mark shat himself here
@@TFT-bp8zk There's a 100% chance you're doing one of the two.
I'm 53 yo and this is still my dream car since the 80s.
Legend has it that Mark is still on the track !!!
Period.
@@Porsche1969 exactly. Well said
Best vid so far surely. That POV angle is pretty awesome. Also thanks for showing more of the suspension hardware. One of the best points of your channel is how well you describe the driving sensation and feel of the car 👍🏻
The 911 Turbo S is the ultimate car for covering a lot of ground in little time.
And then driving around the block ten times when you get there. Tell people it's to cool down the engine.
This Intro gave me chills. Damn good job Mr. Goose and Jack.
Man, I'd love to steal one of these. It looks like the perfect machine.
My brother is getting this car in 2 days, and he asked me to help record the entire vlog/review.
It's going to be a rarity in my country and this video really helps. Thanks a lot!
Amazing review! Car Perfection!
I have one of these on order and a friend sent me this video. Epic. Made me way more excited to finally get it.
Hopefully you delivery is not in the near future, because actualy a freight ship with 1.100 Porsche is burrning and floating evacuated in the Atlantic near the Azores.
The future will be more turbo, battery additions, smaller displacement engines. Enjoy it while you can.
Inb4 excited industry announcement: We are bringing the high-rev engines back!
...And then...
8999 rpm 1-cylinder turbosupercharged hydrogen hybrid with intelligent hydropneumatic microprocessor controlled balance shaft assembly with centralized software updates every millisecond and online scoreboard with performance telemetry.
Meanwhile in America we still releasing four door bricks and sports cars with 392’s and 6.2’s
@@v1Broadcaster True, and kind of sad, but there's money to be made from sentimental fools.
6.2 L supercharged (650 hp) here, let's see what engine holds compression better after 150k miles. 20+ psi smaller displacement turbo cars are fun (and I came from a turbo rotary) but there is a price to pay.
You guys have the most informative and illuminating car reviews on youtube, hands down.
Good to see that Porsche are getting you into newer launch cars like the GT3.
This authoritative and comprehensive review should push Porsche to include you int the first tier of reviewers on all forthcoming models.
Particularly appreciated the focus on the difference between strut and double-wishbone front suspension. Though this has been covered by others none have made it as understandable. BZ SG
I had a 2011 911 GTS till I sold it just 11 months ago… The GTS was a very good all round player. I loved it..!! and I drove it almost daily with no real problems but in no way was it anywhere near this Turbo S. This Porsche is by far a much superior 911, costing $100,00 more.
But..!! Worth ever penny…
Oh.!! Great clip.. just a very professional job.
How I Want this Turbo…!!
Thank You.!!! Guys…😅
When I see these guys I have to watch. These dude’s videos are awesome! TY, again. Cheers/B
Supremely informative while being fluid in presentation with great host chemistry.
The quality of this channel is simply stunning, and the piano ending is just the cherry on top!
I think some discussion of exterior is a good thing - street presence, size, quality, panel gap consistency, etc. are things that don't always show up on camera.
I suspect they avoid styling because it's subjective, and you can easily judge it yourself, especially from their excellent video work.
This is the only car review youtube channel, where I watch the entire video. Great stuff once again fellas.
There are fast cars and then there’s the 911 Turbo S - Mat Watson
The thing I always notice with cars like these, no youtube they're not that exotic, but when you see them in real life, they are much lower and wider than you'd expect. Road presence with his car is definitely there
I can't believe the level of refinement I'm seeing here! And yeah, on the car too! ;)
This video is pure awesome. I love that you show the ridiculous 1-4th launch at 15:30 and follow it up with the exterior perspective, which really gives the sensation of speed.
I've been waiting for this review.
This car is truly perfect. I was fortunate enough to work at Porsche for 7 years and spent considerable time at Barber Motorsports at the PSDS with seat time in the Turbo S and GT3RS and it really makes you appreciate how absolutely superb Porsche engineering is. They really are Germany’s very best and simply pull off wizardry. The Turbo S truly the jack of all trades and MASTER of ALL. 👑
