As a former BVO main, the only consistent option I’ve found that’s viable is Etsujin-Shield-Trueno. I hate that I’ve had to abandon melee in favor of a shield, but at this point the shield is practically a necessity in the meta. On the plus side, dual Etsujins do tons of work, and the Trueno makes it viable against Lamms. Otherwise, maybe Bort Melee is worth a look if you want something more thrilling. Or maybe dual Etsujins and dual Huxley on Nacht legs and Lamm core.
@@corvus917 appreciate the response, I'll have to look into this. Some personal shortcomings with these (abandoning melee hurts as you say and I hate the aesthetic of Lam. For Bort it's just a skill issue my end haha) but I'll do my research and see if any of them hold promise with me.
Light and midweights are incredibly based. Heavyweights are so unbelievably boring to me. Boring to watch and play, and kind of annoying to fight against. Unless you're playing a missile kite or something.
Honestly i think pretty much every single other set of arms is fine except BASHO. It's lightweight, tanky, has insane melee damage, and its biggest flaw isnt an issue for many users. Low Recoil Control and Firearm Spec should mean the arms are harder to use but rewarding if you manage to mix in a melee weapon. But using an FCS like OCELLUS and high dmage low recoil weapons like ETSUJINS, or shotguns where the recoil still isnt really an issue, essentially gets rid of that flaw if you stay close enough which is mostly an issue if you chase kites.
@@muchluck7981 we have started doing a blind pick format where after each match both players may choose to change their ACs instead of locking them into one build for the whole tournament. This means that you can bring in a LW against an opponent that you think will struggle against them. For example, Evil Statue which is a dual etsujin LW build is VERY good into lamm. So instead of having to bring Evil Statue for the whole tournament you can instead just bring it against an opponent you think will bring a Lamm build. It's been really fun so far and LWs have been doing very well because of this change
Connie's last build: "I have given thee courtesy enough."
What happened to full tournaments being posted on YT? I haven’t seen a tourney video thats long in a while
I really wish they were still posted, loved watching all the fights whenever I wanted. Just never got time to watch them live :/

I might do that again actually. It seems quite a few people have missed them!
Y'all talking about this balance mod, where can I find it, when it's done?
You'll see it on this channel when its done. As well as the NEST mod which is the PVP version of the co-op mod also featured on this channel!
@@strikerhutassa is it done yet and does it have invasions? i was trying to invade on the co-op mod and can't really find much activity :/
Moonlits Sword/Bunker is similar to one of my favorite AC's I made which is cool.
Anybody got any recommendations for fun LW builds? Ever since I lost BVO I've had nothing that scratches that rushdown itch...

Has there been an update?
Exactly what I was wondering.
Nope
Nope
No, but the meta has shifted in weird ways lol

A meta review would be rather nice honestly. I wish I knew what was up.
Raw BUNK 4 Life
Patch talk got me wondering if they are going to nerf the Basho arms, or buff all other arms.

@@TGM-Videosyeah, I think the problem is the way FCS and recoil is implemented in game
Lightweights are viable now? Was there a recent balance patch?
Sadly no balance patch. Just a lot of shifts in the overall metagame and how tournaments are run buffing lightweight builds
@@strikerhutassa What have tournaments been doing to buff lightweight builds? Curious here

@@Sabbathfaax What about close range lightweights, what units are popular there?
Are people still playing this game? Haven't seen anything from the usual suspects in months so I figured I'd double check.
I wish From would care about this game. I was bored of Shadow of the Midtree after like 2 weeks
