One more thing, you always scan your opponent even when the are not in cover. Why do you do this? Does it improve your lock speed or something else?

The state of ac6 ranked PvP is so garbage. What’s the fun of using a meta build that every other sweaty try hard is using. It completely defeats the purpose and point of armored core. You might as well just use npc ac’s. Same concept.
The only people I see writing comments like this are either purely spectators, hero shooter / FPS fanboys or really garbage AC players who always think "I'd win" because of "pure skill".
@@igtenoz what a clown thing to say. First of all you’d never have any idea how/if a person plays ac6 or what any other games they play based on a comment of them saying they don’t like the concept of meta builds in AC6. I been playing armored core since I was a young child. Nearly 30 years. The point of the series is to create original builds , and to use builds to overcome seemingly impossible challenges. If the devs intended players to watch YT videos to find the most meta build and only use those, this wouldn’t be a game of customization it would be a game in which you just pick a pre built ac to use, like how fighting games are. I’m currently mid way through A rank on singles and teams. I’m not a spectator nor am I trash. But I also refuse to use an ac that someone else built and everyone else uses. So lemme ask you , because your clearly offended that I appose meta builds. Do you use duo3’s, a Huxley, or the shao Wei on your BVO in ac6?
"Clearly offended" with you? I don't really care enough about you or your opinion to be offended. I just find you meta haters pathetic. You who can't cope with their lack of skill and use other peoples builds as an excuse as to why they lost. I suppose from an MMA stand point you would also call BJJ garbage because almost everyone's using it? And anyone new using BJJ in professional MMA are try hards? Meta stands for Most Effective Tool Available. Tell me, you who've claimed to have played AC for 30 years, does this mean you have never used bunnyhop boosts or the Finger / Karasawa / Moonlight in your games before? Or ever fought arena opponents in the Caverns in Project Phantasma or the Parking Garage in Master of the Arena because those were the most effective tools to win then and if you did any one of those then maybe you're the same "sweaty try hard" you claim to hate so much. The point of this game coming straight from the developer is "customization" that's it. Not make "original" builds as you say it is. People will use what they want and that's it. There's a clear difference between "opposing" something, claiming something's garbage or a try hard. Let people play the way they want. If you lose they're better than you simple. Also, I use Zimmy mlt06 Basho Ocellus Pulse blade and slicer on my Rank A.
@@igtenozyou not really making sense. Maybe if y’all were talking about a different game, but not this one. The higher you go in ranked, there’s less and less variety. That’s most definitely for a reason. It’s not a lack of skill if you don’t want to use a meta slave build and you end up having to fight one. It’s just the game not being balanced. Yea, meta is very unimaginative and lame but what’s worse is someone who can’t be honest with themselves.
This is how Armored Core should be played! Fast, aggressive and non stop! I’m calling you Demon Lord of the Lightweights. 🫡 now go put an end to this senseless Zimmerman heavyweight laser stagger meta.

@@RamenRook also i tested the the best range for vientos before ricochet and found against tester ac its 166 m not 192 like it says in the description
@@loopsmaster2192 ricochet range is effected by a targets defenses. Ideal Range is the range that your shots will never ricochet regardless of defense. Effective range is the range that your shots will at least do 1 damage
@@loopsmaster2192 thats true but I still think the pros outweigh the cons if we are comparing shao wei to huxley (or any missile really except for maybe soups which I have found to do really well lol)
Meta builds are too safe and not fun for me
That was the power of vientos. Shao-wei is a horrible part that does next to nothing.
Shao Wei has some use as an alternative to the huxley for close range builds like BVO
But I do agree that it should be buffed so it could see more use on some other builds
Vientos have always been what truly carry, but the right shoulder is a flex spot that still needs improving. I used shao wei and started winning matches that otherwise would be harder. It helps reach some stability breakpoints that vientos can't do alone, as well as giving chipping options at a range of 150m, which is more than vientos
you're just a gosh darn meta abusing viento player, use a real build next time and maybe you can be a real merc like me
Okay
You can’t deny that he gives good tips tho
@@igtenoz I love how the first thing you say is how much you don’t care then immediately proceed to type 5 paragraphs. Yikes
I have a weird request if you don't mind. you think you could make a build utilizing manual aiming build using tetrapod legs and a jamming bomb launcher, all the other parts are up to what want cause IDK how to go about this.
Yes! A friend of mine who goes by "Pandaman" uses advanced oscillator manual aim tech with jamming bomb. Incredibly unique playstyle
@@RamenRookI ran into Pandaman in A rank. I'd never seen a build like that before. Completely shut me down! I was laughing the whole time. :D
Haha I'm so glad to hear that!@@MatsuzoSF
