To be honest, I was just trying to diversify my builds by not using the same frame and weapons. But the higher Accumulative Impact on Oscillator complements Curtis' lower Impact and staggers more consistently than Curtis + Pulse Blade, so it turned out well.
@@iwuanadie1058 This is a very late reply... I personally don't like Kasuar on Double Melee since it doesn't give you a lot of load capacity, not to mention it's pretty costly on the EN. You could use it on Coral Gen Melee but it's going to be very difficult to make it work.
@@lemoncurry351I don't think so. After using it a little more, I found that it's just inconsistent at close range where the target would get pushed out of the lance's thrust path. But it has a sweetspot at midrange, where follow up damage ticks would hit if you landed a hit, so it seems to be more of a tracking problem than anything. Just my observation though, could be wrong.
I think I played a few matches vs you yesterday when I went from unranked to A rank in 5 hours you were most definitely the most terrifying melee player i had met, if I didnt have the shoulder shield to block ur melees id have been toast
The first one uses Alba Head, Core, and Legs, with Basho arms. Curtis on the right hand and dual missile on the shoulder. Coral Oscillator and Laser Blade for the Melee. The second uses Firmeza Core and Legs, Mind Alpha head, and Melander C3 arms. Laser Dagger and Lance for melee, Wueger and missile on the right side. The third uses Nachtreier Core and Legs, Firmeza Arms, and Kasuar head. Pilebunker and Pulseblade for melee, Harris and MLT-04 on the right side. They all use the same internals which is Kikkaku, Abbot, and San-tai. Performs kind of the same, but the third one is better for chasing due to booster efficiency, the first is more forgiving due to 3000+ EN efficiency, the third one is more agile but you need to play a little closer to your opponent.

I'm having trouble using Kikkaku /Santai builds but it looks like most people use it or melee builds, am i doing something wrong? I'm use to fast qb recharge time and dashing around a lot. Any suggestions?
Kikkaku has the best melee thrust, so it's a perfect match for melee builds. It lacks in any other aspect so you shouldn't use it on non-melee focused. I feel like I needed to mix in more jumps and QB towards the opposite direction when on the defense, since the goal is to break FCS lock. But, what kind of trouble are you having? I don't want to give too wide of a suggestion
@@Podjie basically dodging and EN management is by biggest issue. I like to use RH duckett RS soup missle then I’ll alternate between dual ducketts or dual melee. I’m going to give your first setup a try
@@CreutzfeldtTVI see, I had the same problem when I first play melee. Redlining your EN when you're close to your enemy without getting the combo off is death sentence. I'd say don't get too aggressive or get too close when you don't need to, slow down a bit, because Double Melees are mostly combo-centric. Kikkaku helps you close in really fast, so it wouldn't hurt as much to stay out of your opponent's fcs ideal range if you don't intend to commit to a combo, and get closer just before you start a chase. And try to be patient and wait for the EN to fill up before chasing. Of course knowing this comes with practice. I hope this helps, Good luck!

Fun fact about the WUEGER melee, if your using quad legs, you will remain mobile while using it, this also works for the whips main attack as well.
Great playing man. I love melee canceling with the oscillator. Great for closing in the distance. The only way I deal with missile boats.

laser lance completely fails to connect as usual
I brought it for stagger punish, but even the dagger does a better job...
@@Podjiei notice that AB kicks really only hit with hard lock on, and you were aiming without it so maybe that’s making the laser lance whiff
