I imagine that because of Winona's "So THIS is 'Maxy'" quote, Charlie probably wrote to her about how much she was amazed by Maxwell's acts considering all the stuff Charlie's letters written to Maxwell spoke about him.
I do find it very interesting how those Charlie quotes hidden in the code are only for dialogue for specifically three characters. Maxwell and Winona make sense, but I always found incredibly interesting that she has one line Wormwood as well. Granted, it is just “…” but it’s still there.
If I had to guess, it’s likely because Wormwood is strongly associated with Alter - arguably moreso than even Wagstaff - and Charlie is strongly associated with the shadows. In other words, it’s probably hinting at a potential future conflict. Another thing I forgot about is the Rose Colored Glasses for Winona. Winona is clearly trying to keep secret about their purpose, and none of the survivors seem to know about said purpose… except for Wormwood, who explicitly explains what the item does whereas every other character (minus Winona) just expresses confusion.
It's so sad that wes is the joke "haha die noob" character, because the idea of a character that can manipulate luck (be it good or bad) is fascinating, if klei isn't going to go the obvious route of "more useless ballons haha we're so funny" i woukd like for them to play around his unlucky "quirk". I DON'T want him to be completely OP or something, but maybe "using" his unluckyness could be fun, like maybe he can use an umbrella that instantly gets struck by lightning and causes it to rain, or maybe shattering a mirror makes meteors fall or something
he has one of highest chances to get hit by thunder (right after wx), and he will be prioritized by hounds raid, so there is that i guess. but i agree, kind of, expanding upon it could be interesting
Same here. Wes' design as a challenge character is incredibly outdated at this point. So many of his "quirks" don't make the game harder, just slower and more boring. Back when DST characters had only numerical differences, sure he had a place, but now with how every character has a dynamic-ish playstyle, he's really been left in the dust.
i do wish they explored this idea of him being a bad luck sponge more in his base character. i like the idea of him doubling as niche and situational support with abilities coming at his expense and solely benefiting his team. him being a lightning rod and taking aggro from hounds is cool, but hardly leaned into either way i hope he never turns into some kind of high risk high reward character tbh

You've got pretty much the same take as me in re. Wortox. Might be a great asset, might be a terrible liability and she doesn't have much reason to trust him. If there's something that makes her less nervous, I'd say it's probably his personality. He'd rather be doing adorable silly nonsense than making power moves like outright opposing Charlie. I think she might have a bit of leverage, though. She's the one who holds the holiday events, including Winter's Feast Eve, where she shows the ability to slow down the survivors' hunger. That's a boon I could see Wortox being desperate for. Untrustworthy though he might be, he might pause at biting the hand that feeds him.
I'd say that Charlie 100% views Winona as an asset, because that is literally how my younger sister sees me. (Like, I am literally an errand girl to her) As for the rest, what you said sounds very true. Charlie seeing and being able to be with Winona again probably has her feeling the same things that Wendy first did when going to the constant, since Wendy reunited with Abigail. Unrelated to the video, but I recently heard of a theory from the comments of a don’t starve theory video on the shadows, and the potential name of their leader! (I haven’t found where the theory came from, but I would like to know, so if someone finds where this first came from, I’ll be glad if you told me!) Basically it breaks down on how the lunar and nightmares are opposites in many aspects: (One controls Light and reflections, while the other controls Darkness and shadows, One come from sky while the other deep underground, One brings Enlightenment while the other brings insanity, etc.) And then looks at the name of the moon alter, and the definition of what alter means: to change, modify or transmute. After that, the commenter thought what is the opposite of that: to stay the same, uniform, stable, consistent… or To stay constant. It basically comes to the assumption that the constant itself is them, and theorizes if their names could also be hints their motivations as well, such as: the Constant may want things to stay the same, how it’s orderly, and how Constant rewards your loyalty if you side with it, while Alter may want things to constantly change, how it’s chaotic, and how Alter rewards your curiosity. Sorry if I made this messy and hard to read, or misunderstood and poorly explained ideas and concepts in this theory, I just wanted to share this out there, since I found it very interesting! And one more little thing unrelated to this theory that I noticed and curious about: Both the moon and the darkness are aspects of the night, but Where does the sun fall under this? Considering there are quotes about the sun setting, we can probably assume that alter isn’t the sun as well.
I think maxwell's rework depicted her well, she seems to not see the survivors as more than mere pawns on the grand scheme. on one side, she was a very sweet gal, on the other, she fused with her shadow counterpart, i think she still has human emotions, but they are all focused on her goals. Her talk with maxwell sold that to me, she was supposed to totally adore him, considered they were so close, yet when she found him, all she did was manipulate with no a single drop of guilt, shame or regret afterwards. With that said, i think she wouldn't even care to remember their names if they weren't so important on the bigger picture.
I play mostly single player and kinda want to see some videos of this sort going over them, I myself fell like Charlie would have some rather interesting things to say about them, perhaps she feels bad for Wilba due to her curse, maybe she feels confused about Woodlegs, so much missed potential in my opinion, still a great series though

In the case of Wendy, I know that Wendy can craft Abigail's flower but I wonder if that's just a gameplay element so that the player cannot lose Wendy's most prominent gameplay mechanic and that in the actual universe, Wendy could lose Abigail permanently if Abigail's flower gets lost or destroyed. It seems that way in the short since Wendy starts sobbing when Abigail's flower is seemingly destroyed which would be an overreaction if it could be replaced but not if it couldn't.
Polite disagreement on Wilson. She might be *somewhat* grateful, but IMO she mostly sees him as some idiot that Maxwell pulled into the Constant. The stageplay has Charlie show Wilson as a fool who’s been summoned for entertainment, and his freeing of Maxwell is related as someone accidentally knocking the king off of their throne. If she saw Wilson as a guide to Maxwell, I think she’d have portrayed him differently. This also lines up with his general personality of chaotic science. Him being friends with Maxwell probably also makes her dislike him, and Wilson jumping headfirst into helping Wagstaff with no idea of what Wagstaff or Alter is capable of just seals the idea that he’s a moron who keeps stumbling around in the constant messing up stuff. At least from Charlie’s POV. Man was literally tricked into building some strange portal by a disembodied voice (though idk if Charlie would know about that)
I'm personally curious as to wether Woodie's wereform has any deeper lore connection to the moon or not. Him being "normal(?) guy" is fine, but I'd love for Klei to explore that "(?)" part.
i cant help but think of one line considering orangE stepping down from dst content and biddo becoming more popular from it. "when one story ends another one begins."
i hope they attempt make like legit enough campaign not fully survival . the plot and story drive can have huge potential in dont starve so far. maybe go back real world and fight against shadow creature 24/7 or so
I feel like we’re really forgetting that Charlie goes for every characters throat come nighttime with no remorse. Being opportunistic is really like the only thing I think was true about this video because that’s the only thing she is consistently with every character only interacting with them when she has something to gain She may be a tragic villain, but she is still a villain . I don’t think she’s curious or intrigued about any of the characters instead I think she’s totally dismissive until they have something that she wants
I mean, is kinda messy because there is limit to gameplay and to history I think. I feel like with Maxwell dialogue where he still like the time in the throne (as a king of course) and sometimes he regret it, because is kinda like in the middle between the events of DS and the future events.
I also think that Charlotte would kinda respect? Idk some mix of respect and sympathy, Wendy and Abigail. I mean, their bond is so strong that it allows Abigail to stay after death. I wonder if she wants a bond like that.
Feast and Famine! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner :) It hasn't been updated in a while and has had a history of being unstable, but recently I've had zero issues with it :) Oh and I also used Beefalo milk for... the beefalo milk!

imo, if you create content for yt, stay on yt for streams as well. twitch or other platforms wont give you much viewership since they wont promote anything (unless you hit a certain threshold to be featured on the main page). Also you dont have to make 3rd party social medias just to announce your streams for your community on yt. And by now, twitch and youtube are basicly the same maybe minus the customizationoptions for twitch, since yt hates it if you tinker with their stuff.

Man was literally tricked into building some strange portal by a disembodied voice (though idk if Charlie would know about that)
Wilson gaming 😎
I'm personally curious as to wether Woodie's wereform has any deeper lore connection to the moon or not. Him being "normal(?) guy" is fine, but I'd love for Klei to explore that "(?)" part.
Same here! Does Alter have any influence outside of the constant or does Alter just amplify it?
I love these videos
call me crazy but i think charlie wants to kill them when their torches run out
Btw Wormwood is a creation of the moon and can't align with the shadows
i cant help but think of one line considering orangE stepping down from dst content and biddo becoming more popular from it.
"when one story ends another one begins."
i hope they attempt make like legit enough campaign not fully survival . the plot and story drive can have huge potential in dont starve so far. maybe go back real world and fight against shadow creature 24/7 or so
10K??! 🎊🎉🥳
we have cat person at home
cat person at home:
Charlie is probably jealous of Lucy
I know I am. Wait why did I say that
...wut
I feel like we’re really forgetting that Charlie goes for every characters throat come nighttime with no remorse.
Being opportunistic is really like the only thing I think was true about this video because that’s the only thing she is consistently with every character only interacting with them when she has something to gain
She may be a tragic villain, but she is still a villain .
What's the mod that adds Wheat and Flour in your background gameplay?
I also think that Charlotte would kinda respect? Idk some mix of respect and sympathy, Wendy and Abigail. I mean, their bond is so strong that it allows Abigail to stay after death. I wonder if she wants a bond like that.
If I'd choose what side im one i'll choose NO ONE
This video made me miss orangE's content
I like this
Thank you! :D
5:38 WHAT ANIMATION IS THIS
Don't Starve Together: A 1st For Everything [Wes Animated Short]
Is that the Feast and Famine mod in the background? I thought it didn't work anymore
nice video +1 subscriber FROM BRAZIL,WTF IS A KILLOMETER 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
A Kill-o-meter is a meter that increments every time you kill someone, of course 😆
Will you continue your Wurt playthrough? I'm doing a merm takeover but I want to see you finish your video lol
Wood?

The thumbnails feel very dst.

Feast and Famine! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner :) It hasn't been updated in a while and has had a history of being unstable, but recently I've had zero issues with it :) Oh and I also used Beefalo milk for... the beefalo milk!
Bamdobids

Him, absolutely. I've never fought another person in DST and I can barely fight pigmen without breaking down :)
@@BiddoBamss banjo the bussiness pig jumpscare
Now do with Wagstaff Dont Starve now
He sees everybody as nothing more than a hand to pass him a wrench, a body to throw into the meat grinder for his own selfish gains. I dislike the man GRRR. But it would be nice to dive into his human side. If he has one. :)
random question is your username pronounce like bid-o bams or bi-th-o bams? (like how two ds make a th sound in welsh?)
imo, if you create content for yt, stay on yt for streams as well. twitch or other platforms wont give you much viewership since they wont promote anything (unless you hit a certain threshold to be featured on the main page).
Also you dont have to make 3rd party social medias just to announce your streams for your community on yt. And by now, twitch and youtube are basicly the same maybe minus the customizationoptions for twitch, since yt hates it if you tinker with their stuff.
I think she doesn't need to keep up appearances with winona since she kinda is her sister
5:53 he WHAT
Wagstaff don’t starve
can someone explain the wheatgrass?
The nightmare throne has found its new host
6:00 Maxwes real?
I’m just imagining the dialogue like:
Wes what are you doing?
Wes get away please
Wes Stop
‘Wes mimes inappropriate actions with his body’
That's such a weird ship, it might be fun to think about but it probably sinks faster than the titanic
Wonkey 🦧
