This was the culmination of a mini-tour put together to benefit Amnesty International. This is the from the final night of the tour at Giants Stadium. A sold-out crowd of over 50,000 saw The Police close the nearly 11 hour show which included Jackson Browne, Peter, Paul & Mary, Yoko Ono, The Neville Brothers, Lou Reed, Peter Gabriel, Bryan Adams and others.

Yes exactly but the man has an unreal voice that many people dream of having but to to many runs. If he would just sing it and leave all that in and out out of the song it would sound so good. He has a voice that can't be matched by anyone no matter what but he would sound so much better if he would just use his voice and no adlibs or runs. 😊
Stewart recently said he was often accused of speeding things up, but that frequently it was Andy who actually instigated it. Stewart just played by feel, and the drum tempo was the most noticeable to the ear, which gave him the reputation.
