Gaijins Roadmap looks promising, if they're able to do what they promised for June's roadmap, I guess that will be a good sign that they'll do what they plan and promised for us.
I too, had an issue with the debug files, as so to put it. Everytime i launched war thunder it crashed, so put the exact same text for the debug in the config so it will work.

But to save time, what you can do is delete or move that config file to another place in your computer, and then start the game, don't forget to turn on anti-cheat in the launcher, this way, the game will create a new config file based on the latest update of the game.
how do you solve the problem with the critical and hit? like it shows the hit name on critical but the game won't show critical either though i changed it to something else

Are you sure you're in the right directory? try this, in the folder, you should have a view setting, right next to sort. Click on it, it'll give you a drop-down menu. Find "Show" and another small window will pop out, enable or check File Name Extensions and Hidden Items.

Try this. Right click on the config file, click on properies, and under attributes, un-check "Read Only".

make sure you typed testLocalization:b=yes correctly, one wrong letter is enough to make it not work.

Sometimes redoing all the steps helps.
For some reason my lang folder doesn't have the menu.csv file and everything that is there is a different file type.

for me the files in lang are exel files
oh, I don't know why that's in exel files, try changing the (OPEN WITH) in the Properties, and choose notepad so you can open it.
