I know that the lady was a caller and you can't necessarily be a bitch towards her, but there's not a single scenario that I can think of that gives her any right to be put 1st in any way, shape or form whatsoever.
And by the fact she has stuck to this man for 19 years just shows that she won't ever let him go, just to spite the wife.
Also, she didn't say the wife was still her best friend, she said she was her best friend for a while, which I'm assuming that was at the beginning of her affair with the husband, which means they were never actually friends because you'd never ever do that to a friend, even less so your supposed best friend.
What I think happened was she saw her friend being happy and probably a handsome husband, got jealous and tried to steal him for herself aaand probably thought after getting pregnant he'd leave the wife, but what'd you know, it's been almost 20years and he still hasn't left her, so I highly doubt he'll do it now.
