This is a fun little ‘what if’ project I worked on for the better part of 2 weeks, combining my cinematic shots with a documentary-style script and an AI soundalike of David Attenborough for the voiceover. Now, as far as I know, this doesn’t infringe any copyright or personality rights and does not harm his reputation or defame him in any way, but I realize that not everyone is gonna love what I did… It’s simply intended as an homage to his legacy and a tribute to the work of the artists at Guerrilla. -- I am thinking of creating more episodes, but I’m not gonna commit for now, because this whole AI thing is kind of a mine field… Also, I’ll try to reply to any comment that stays civil, but hyperbolic doom-and-gloom comments, accusations or insults will be ignored. Wow, remember when we wrote on reddit. Well done, you seem to have a good eye for scene/perspective and locations and you catched some very rare machine animations (never caught a Snapmaw doing it thing and lying down). That was breathtaking! I never even stopped to observe the behavior of the machines in the game and that little documentary brought me some lore I've never bothered to take interest with. This is incredible, and I hope there will be more! And about the AI stuff, honestly as long as you don't pretend it's him, and you clearly state that it's an AI soundalike, I don't think it's a problem. You're perfectly clear on the matter.
You should! The backstory of the series is amazing! I’d propose to mainline the first one, paying attention to the data points strewn along the way and then jumping into the 2nd one, enjoying every nook and cranny of its beautiful world and the much more polished side quests.
I think David Attenborough would also appreciate this video. After all, the Machines imitate the form and behavior of animals that once lived and are alive today.
