What kind of rod did you have that Diawa BG on? Also what size BG is that? I'm going on a tuna trip soon and I'm trying to figure out what gear to buy. Thanks in advance!

Nice, is jigging the most common on those trips? I want to get a jigging setup, but wasn't sure if that's what is used the most.

That amber jack put you to work! Ha ha love it! Any opportunity for trolling? Any yellow tuna caught? Did you take your own jigs? I'm booked for my first tuna trip at the end of October any advise would be much appreciated.

Rey Garza hello, on the trips that I have gone I have not seen anyone trolling, only blackfin tuna were captured I recommend that you carry 3,6.8 oz templates that you can with leader of 80 pounds onwards and if you are going to take your own equipment make sure the reels have 30 or more pounds of Drag

Why are those fish just left in the water like that? The mates should know how to vent a fish and send it back down safely. No waste

This charter sucks. ifyou catch all of the SMALL fish there will not be any big ones!

this boat and captain should be fined for wasting game, blatant violation.

When I did a 12 hour snapper trip it was like that because the fish would get off before coming aboard, and there were so many being caught that people just released them without the knowledge. It stinks but unfortunately not every fish gets paired on party boats

Cycle of life. Bigger fish get a easy meal now (shark) (dolphin)
