  • This is a combination of 2 fishing trips. First trip I got one nice yellow fin tuna and second trip my friends manage to get their first tunas. It was really fun trip and the tunas fought really hard and I hope we can repeat it next time.
    Thanks for watching and subscribe for more fishing videos!!!

    Opa! Nice catch! This is a good year for tuna on the voyager! Make sure you go a couple more times. Aproveitam a peça quando tá bom. Eu já apanhei seis YFT com sardinhas e jigs no voyager este ano em dois trips. Beleza vídeo! 🤙🏾

    Bom dia, você usou qual braid aí na sua carretilha essa linda colorida ? Eu tbm peguei 4 yellowfin ano passado em setembro , essa carretilha accurate e top ne , vc puxou rapido , quero comprar uma top dessa , o seu leader que vc usou pro jig era quantos pe de linha ?

    • @DestinationFishing
      @DestinationFishing  3 года назад +1

      Bom dia, desculpa a demora para responder. Aquela carretilha tem 50 lbs daiwa j-braid, o leader eu coloquei uns 10 pés de 50 lbs flurocarbon com um fg knot. A caritilha e muito boa, assim que a tuna começou a fazer os círculos eu coloquei na marcha baixa. Eu tenho uma tamanha 600 tb com 65 lbs braid caso agente ache umas tuna bem grande :). Obrigado por assistir o vídeo!!

      @@DestinationFishing essa carretilha accurate e cara mais vale a pena comprar , eu puxei as 4 yellowfin com penn senator 9/0, e boa mais muito lento táva usando sardinha pra chunk bait , eu vi um cara com shimano talica 16 do meu lado gastou menos de 10 minutos pra puxar a tuna...parabéns pelo seus vídeos top msmo. Meus amigos de pesca tdos já viram seus vídeos tbm....eu vi você um dia de kaiki pescando...tô começando a a pescar tuna agora tbm fui bem vezes nesses 2 anos.

      @@DestinationFishing eu sempre vou no 125' jamaica , e já fui no queem mary , já peguei umas 8 tuna , e a melhor pesca que existe pra mim , e cara msmo mais quando pega e muito bom , e equipamentos caro ne ruim daqui nesses party boat so pode usar monofilament pra chunk , usar caretilha pequena e bom demais , tô comprando shimano talica, eu já peguei uma bluefin grande quase 1 hora de luta no jigging tbm, te aviso aí se souber de algum barco mais barato.

    • @DestinationFishing
      @DestinationFishing  3 года назад

      The rod is a Jigging World Deep Monster Model DM-78C. It's 7'8" 8oz-5lb lure and line 50-100lb. I taught it would be a little heavy but it worked well with this tuna. I was able to put it in low gear and put some pressure on it.

    What’s the hook up ratio on these trips ?

    • @DestinationFishing
      @DestinationFishing  3 года назад +2

      Very little, first 2 years I went only a like 4 5 fish were caught on the boat, than I started learning a little than 3 4 time I got 1 fish, the bite were really slow those years. Last 2 times I went the yellow fin bite was amazing I still just got 1 and every that went with me got 1 but in different trips. The trip my 2 friends got 1 I didn't get any. This kid went for the first time with his dad and got 3 and his dad didn't get a bite so its not that easy and you got to be a little lucky. So if you want to give it a shot because you enjoy fishing and want to try it go for it but if you count the fish at the end of the trip to see if it worth it I would say it's not. My father in law did two trips and got nothing and said he is not doing it any more for that reason. Of course you talk to some people and they are like I got like 10 in one trip and its exciting to hear and stuff but I have done 6 trips and didn't have that luck yet

      @@DestinationFishing yeah that’s one reason I’d rather do 6 or more people charter. I think chances go significantly higher. Did a charter off AC over the July 4th, went out to canyons n we caught 9 Yellow fins. But I m pretty sure we got lucky. Charters are a little more expensive but I think if ones thinking of catching the chances are significantly higher. Good luck fishing man.

    Loved the video but you def gotta let the crew do their job and not be telling other people when to reel or switch into low gear. They have way more experience doing this than you and if you make one mistake it'll cost you a fish or broken rod
