I like that it still has a column shifter. Those are way more satisfying in big trucks than the new rotary dial on the rams, for example
Heavy Duty RAM's still utilizes the collum shifter, and RAM doesnt pretend to remove'em
Btw, Light duty Fords dont use a colum shifter too, they have a central shifter
All heavy duty trucks from the big three brands use the column shifter
Because the heavy duty components in those transmissions that can handle the torque from the diesels and the console is for work to easy control the knobs within reach especially while you towing heavy loads unlike in a 1/2 ton with floor/knob shifters.
The gas Ram HD trucks use the dial shifter. If you get the Cummins you will get the column shifter
This is literally my dream truck right here! I love the powerstroke engines and all of ford's vehicles
lol. even the focus and fiesta with huge transmission reliability issues?
If this is your dream then a 7.3 powerstroke is your heaven
@@sweetwolfasmraudio6726 a 7.3 is more like a sad reality, I'd rather take a 6.7
@@dustra5000 good luck with too much electrics and Def, the 7.3 is stupid reliable and makes damn good power, it's a diesel, it's a workhorse not a race machine
@@sweetwolfasmraudio6726 ah yes the only electronics the 7.3 have are out of production factory wiring harnesses and relays, when you make no power it is gonna be reliable tho I'll give you that
Thank you for a non-verbal car review. I've never seen that before and liked it so much better. Was able to just soak it all in and think to myself about what I like about the features. Subbed!
WR do a lot of these. You can find them on quite a few channels, your best bet is searching for "raw reviews" so no music and often no talking.
Amen! Loved this video.
Love how they brought the old school diesel sound back. I like the column shifter too. But I wish they would upgrade their door panels and steering wheel by now! Especially for a 2022 lariat.
Yep
I think a refresh is coming for 2023.
Yeah the materials are horrible and do not hold up. My buddy’s platinum feels like a 20 year old Taurus inside.

Idk what your on but it does not sound like an old diesel
I love that the rpm and speed are analog
thought i was the only one
Wish they would do that for the Bronco too
Cuz the interior is still using the one from the previous gen f150 / f250
Nothing like that powertroke. Imagine if they had put a mini powerstroke in the new Bronco
Like the 3.0? From the 150
@@AbdulazizAladwani-ke7in nice

@@justanotheraviator2357 I think he means a smaller displacement version of the V8, so I assume also similar power per cc or ci
@@jetstream454 it would probably fit in a Bronco is someone with more spare money than I was willing to try.
It must be a weird experience driving a new heavy duty truck like this. One the one hand, it has all of the new features you'd expect from an expensive, modern vehicle. On the other, it still has a solid axle on both ends, reciprocating ball steering, and a firm ride like an old truck.
The new ones don’t ride near as rough as the old ones. My 2006 Duramax rides like a tank compared to my uncles 2017 Powerstroke.
Really liked this 2022 F-250 Lariat, the one I drove had same baja interior but mine was powered by the 7.3 L V8.. Liked the 7.3 L a bit better to the Powerstroke, can feel the weight difference for sure! Great Video WR :)
I like the sound of it and those wheel spin tho so much power
LOVE THE SILENCE!!! Thank you!
i like your videos, letting the vehicle speak for itself instead of someone speaking for it.
The Audio was so satisfying! Almost put me to sleep.🤣
my 2022 f-250 6.7 powerstroke is phenomenal. it gets me anywhere and is a work horse
Lets go finally been waiting so long
Dream truck right here baby! I have been saving up for this truck and am hoping to get this
Superbe. Un pick up de reve dans une superbe route.....very nice video thanks from France.
Thank God for blessing me with grace I will buy one for myself
She started right up😩🔥
Wow. I have got some JBL headphones on and this truck sounds crazy! That engine just roars!
Absolutely love the tan interior!
Diesel sound is incomparable #LOVE !!!

Sweet! Time for a 22 7.3 f250!
Man this truck is really beautiful, especially since it has Ford MyTouch. Really Nice & I enjoy the no commentary review as well. Man I love Ford!❤
I test drove this truck before I bought my 2022 F-350 6.7 Platinum Dually with the FX4 Package & 4.10 gearing... My F-350 Dually is just over 500 pounds lighter than the F-450 6.7 Platinum Dually. This F-350 6.7 without the dual rear wheels is about 500 pounds lighter than my Dually, and you can feel it when you floor it. 8,000 pounds is still very heavy, but when you have a 475 HP / 1050 LB-FT 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel V8 with a 10-speed auto transmission, it's feels very quick! Based on the rpm's at 60 mph, it looks like this truck either has 3.31, or possibly 3.55 gearing. If this had the 4.10 gearing like my truck, it would be even quicker, I bet. Very impressive! 👍
Do this again with the 7.3 v8! Nice not having someone talking alot.
I love my 22 Powerstroke lariat crew cab 4x4!
That is one of the nicest pickup trucks ever.
I could sleep so well to that diesel engine sound
Wow, thats a great Diesel. I wish that would be available in the expedition
I'LL TAKE IT!!
damn good looking truck
Nice truck 😍😍
Great road trip vehicle
My favorite color combo
This is my dream car
Nice, I hope there will be a 2023 f250 pov drive
I like the whole truck but for short people or people that dont wanna climb up that step is step up from other vehicles love it
Got a tremor on order still haven't got the production date yet the wait is killing me
Yep! Ford is super wild and western
I wish Ford would have taken my ideas. 1) The center consul, they should of utilized the new F150 split version and added the ability to further it by allowing the foldout table to become a turn table that also straps down the Laptop for contractors. its a bit of moving plastic pieces but it would have given a working table all in one. 2) Front seats: should of carried over the new F150 front seats that allow them to completely fold back while propping up the bottom pad giving you a fully flat seat to sleep in for road trips. 3) place a 110/120 volt outlet in the truck bed for corded power tools. 4) New idea create a truck bed rail system that would allow you to place anything on the track such as toolbox so you could slide it to the rear for accessing especially if your working off the tailgate, you could even make the system fully modular to receive almost any application.
The first half, these are things that are waiting for the new cab
OMG! Im sorry you actually had to pick the tail gate 🔝
Beautiful truck! Cummins for me baby 😊
If they just weren't so damn expensive!
My dream truck. Star white lariat
I’m not a diesel guy and never will be. If it’s not making me money somehow, it’s not worth having. I love my 2017 f350 6.2 with 4.30 gears. It hauls ass and tows heavy loads just fine. However, I must admit how nasty and bad ass these new 6.7’s are with the ten speed! I just got a new 2022 f550 at work with the 6.7 10 speed. Since it’s a f550, it has the de-tuned version of the 6.7, not the same engine as the f250-f450’s. That being said, this f550 does lack the horsepower a little bit, It really isn’t all that fast, but it does weigh 14k plus pounds with three passengers. The torque on the other hand is unbelievable! The steepest hills we have around town it’ll crawl right up in 10th gear, no issue. That’s when I was fully convinced a gas engine doesn’t have sh1t on a good newer diesel!
Today, I was fully loaded, just left out of town and heading up a steep hill heading towards the dump. Apparently I wasn’t going fast enough at 40-ish mph, so this d1ck head behind me decided to switch lanes, romp on it, and tried passing me on the right. I knew what his intention was, he was trying to cut me off and beat me to the turn-off to the dump. My dumb ass decided to give the truck all it had to make him work for it just a little. He was driving a 2010-2013? single cab long bed Silverado with maybe 3-400 pounds of tree limbs in the back. This 6.7 ended up surprising the living sh!t outta me and absolutely blew my mind when it started tearing that Chevy a new one! 🤯 just as I was approaching the top and starting to crest the hill, this thing was alive and eating! That LS powered single cab stood absolutely zero chance and he got pounced on ridiculously bad by this big bulky truck! I ended up letting off the throttle though because I had caught up to the car in front of me, allowing him to get in front of me. Oh well…, it was probably a good thing lol. The look on his face when he finally got around me was priceless! 😂. His look alone was totally worth it even if I had got a big ticket out of it! Lol 😬😇.
Just thought I’d share my quick little story about an experience with these new Powerstrokes…! 😉 Again, I’m not a diesel guy, but it’s just way too tough not to love this truck! These things really are the king of the hill! 👊💪
Meu sonho!
Wow... Very macho
now all it needs is a delete, straight pipe, and a tune 😏
God no, We're keeping bone stock.
It’s super good stock. Had mine for 3 years
Uuff uuff uufff❤❤ heavy duty
Sweet Truck.
In the future I’m hoping to buy a Ford f-250 diesel with a grill in front and for the truck color would be darkish lightish red and some coolies for the back wheels. I will use it for off-road and to carry an rv trailer.
Sure satisfied ☺️👍👍👍👍👍👍✌️
Will be buying one (used) in the future (in a few years, when I can afford one), except mine will have a black exterior and a black interior. Might get a Platinum too.
We have a 2022 Ford F-450, its pretty awesome! (Do you have a video for this?)
Looks like a 4-door luxury passenger vehicle.
❣️
Wish I could buy one
Do F250s and above come PowerStroke? I'm trying to order one, but it does not give me the option to add the PowerStroke package.
Have the 10 speed transmission issues been worked out for 22
Longhorn is still the grand daddy of cowboy truck🤠🤠🤠
Wow
Grande y hermosa
I want to buy one for my dad one day
BUEN VIDEO ESA CAMIONETA DONDE LA PUEDO CONSEGUIRLA ME GUSTARÍA TENRLA
So how you like it ? Any complaints ?
❤
I would learn how to drive for this truck
The ride looks quite rough! And there are so many corrections that are being made at the steering wheel just to keep it going straight is that how these really drive?
My dream car is a 2020 Ford Mustang GT Red and my dream truck is a 2007 Ford F-250 6.0 leader
Why no full screen CarPlay? If I use google map on CarPlay now I can have both the CarPlay map and the built in gps map, isn’t that redundant?
Yo me acabo de comprar una 2014 ram y me gusta mucho
good ford
column shifter looks so much better on these
the heavy duty trucks all have column shifters. even the other brandsz
Can u drive LX2022🔥👍😎
That’s nice for 80-90k truck that devalues and is a house. There is better investments people can do. No diss it’s a amazing truck.
Con này ma về Việt Nam thì VIP luôn
Where is this one for sale at?
dream 😭💔
Sucks a lot of these are sitting on Kentucky Speedway due to the Computer chip shortages
What rear diff ratio?
Me gusta el
Asiento
The interior looks like my 2016 XLT?
No bed liner?
Very few people can afford that !!! The cost takes all of the fun out of owning something like that...
que lindo que va
These new Powerstrokes are beautiful inside and out. However, will they stand the test of time?
I'll let you know in 25 years...let's keep in touch...
@@buckhorncortez okay!
My uncles has 250k zero issues ever main thing is the emission system fails around then but he deleted it no problem since
Then my dad put 100k on his 2017 no issues before he sold it
They won't last like an old 7.3 diesel or 460 big block
one day...
Power steering?
Why does the instrument panel keep blinking? Can you turn it off? I’m getting a platinum tremor in the next few week and that would be annoying.
it’s only blinking because of the camera.
Brand new truck and still can see the ridiculous feedback in the steering wheel over broken pavement. Why does this rarely get mentioned in truck reviews? It's far less apparent in other heavy duty truck test drives done by Winding Road or by any other publication.
Heavy Duty trucks aren't designed for ride comfort when unloaded. When loaded, the trucks behave much better and don't bounce, since they're designed to be the most stable when doing actual work. Especially at the heavy duty range, the rear springs are strengthened to allow for heavy loads, but that comes at the expense of unloaded ride comfort. I love the power of these trucks, but the day-to-day usability isn't that great. These are meant to be working vehicles, not daily drivers.
These things ride great, much better than my 2012. It can tow over 30K with a gooseneck, I suppose it needs plenty of capacity built into the suspension. I have nice riding German cars when needed, this one's minor truckishness is very livable.
How’s this a new truck and the alignment is off already 😂
Why is the driver always shaking the steering wheel?
Is this car have Cal-Pilot 360?
I just got my 2022 lariat powerstroke and it’s decent, only things I don’t like is 1. My turbo blew after 300 miles, 2. Doesn’t ride as nice as gmc, 3. When I got the truck my driveline was already rusted out
Exactly why it’s suspect buying vehicles… starts from the beginning
👍🤟💜
Crazy that a bed liner isn’t included in a 80k truck…. But heated rear seats are.
Bed liner is a personal choice not everyone wants
Nice truck but I'll stick with my ol 7.3
good morning.
How are you doing?
